A very Spanish style hotel with high ceilings and friendly staff. Very close the city center with lots of dining options and easy taxi access. Highly recommend this facility and very low cost, especially if you are on a budget.

Tiniest hotel room! But very clean. They let us check in one hour early.
3.4
Great place to stay on a budget.

The room doesn’t come with soap nor shampoo to shower if you want to shower you need to purchase that at the front desk
3.4
Nice looking hotel, rooms are a bit small and wifi is weak. Staff were nice.

The most objectionable item was the mildew smell is the downstairs entrance hall. The room was very small, and the bathroom closet size, with your legs hitting the door or sticking out in the shower. The view of the park is lovely but the noise is intolerable most of the time.

Kind staff, very clean and comfortable accommodations.

Room 23 was small, but the bed was very comfortable.

I have stay here many times in the past and each time thing's seem to be getting worse room's aren't very clean only one electric socket condition seems to be failing tv and remote couldn't get it to work. Price went up about 100 pesos since las time. Bit other that I guess it ok.

I love the location but the service is sub par. Basically you get what you pay for.

This is a good location, mostly quiet except when the seniors decided to dance in the plaza or there is some other musical event going on. The rooms were on the small side and the breakfast offered was totally inadequate. Nescafe, buns and a banana cut in half and browning. Mexican cuisine is a joy but not at this hotel.

Excelente opción si su visita es al Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia, ya que tiene lo básico para dormir y tomar una ducha.A un par de calles del cine principal y el centro de la Ciudad.

Good central location. Quiet at nite. The plaza across from the room was pleasant.
3.4
Decent hotel close to the central. The room was to small.
3.4
right in historic centre, very basic but reasonable price, all amenities including drinking water

Walking distance to everywhere downtown Morelia. Very good service, very nice people. The bathroom is really small :( No parking at hotel but a couple close by

Our room was upstairs in front with a view of Plaza El Carmen. This room was quite different from other rooms where we have stayed at the front of the hotel in the past. The sink was in the room and the bathroom, just shower and toilet, was smaller than the shower stall in the last room we had there. The room was bigger with ample space around all sides of the bed, a larger desk, and a larger shelf for the flat screen tv and the bench/clothes rod below it. Internet worked well. Beds are quite firm but ok, pillows are hard. We were able to hear bathroom sounds from the room next door. This has not been the case in other upstairs, front rooms where we have stayed in recent years.
If you have certain preferences you might let them know as rooms vary widely one from another.
Breakfast is two dry cereals, both sweet, bananas, yogurt, round crackers, white bread with a toaster, instant coffee, dry cocoa mix, juice, milk, and hot water. I suggest buying some granola to have with the yogurt or quick oatmeal to mix up with the hot water if you like some substance to breakfast. In fairness, it is surprising for a hotel this inexpensive to provide breakfast at all.
The hotel has character which has a lot to do with us staying there multiple times.

The worst experience is that is full of bugs, ants, moths and earwigs.
One day, when I arrived,I noticed that the door of my room has been opened all day. that made me really angry,
It was a regular experience...

We have stayed in this hotel twice before and always enjoy it. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the building itself is a historic site. Our room was at the front with a view of Plaza El Carmen, a charming public space where people come and go, sit and visit or eat, and just enjoy being all times of the day.
The room was small with the bed against the wall, no drawers, a small bar to hang clothes, a small desk area, flat screen cable tv. The bed is on the firm side but comfortable. There was a ceiling fan and it was possible to open the doors that faced the plaza all night to let in cool air (we were upstairs). The bathroom is small but in good working order with a small bar to hold onto in the shower. Hand soap and toilet paper are both commercial dispensers plus normal shampoo and bar soap. There is a roof vent in the bathroom that does an excellent job of taking away steam. Hot water was always available and quick.
Combis (vans for public transport) pass by the hotel constantly during working hours but are new equipment and quiet. Drivers rarely did any honking. There are occasional vehicles with noisy brakes or mufflers, but for the most part we were not bothered by street noise. There were occasional church bells.
Breakfast is limited-yogurt, instant coffee, white bread toast, orange juice, two sweetened dry cereals, round crackers, and jam. Drinking an instant coffee then walking a block to Copa de Oro for breakfast is a convenient, economical option.

many rooms do not have a window with natural sunlight. Hotel staff and patrons are noisy at night. difficult sleeping, great housekeeping, kept very clean.

Only a 2 night stay in Morelia. Hotel was 3 blocks away from Cathedral. Right in front of a small park. We had a room on the second floor with a cute doors that opened up to the park. Bathroom was a bit small, but the room had a cozy feeling to it.

Nice clean hotel. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly and the location is excellent.

The room is a little too small for me but very clean

We were given a third floor room when we had a lot of luggage yet a ground floor room was available. We were able to change rooms on request. The initial room was poky and any of stale cigarettes. The second room was larger and fresher. Breakfast is basic, instant coffee, bananas and biscuits.
