Located close to night life & the beach. Good clean hotel.
shower was small & I'm not a fan of Louvered doors on the toilet hearing every thing going on.

Very nice hotel for £60/ night, clean and spacious room. Dinner at restaurant was excellent! Good size portions. Nice to have a bar and restaurant open on a Sunday evening when most of France closes down all day.
Shame hotel.com allows hotel to advertise the spa and pool as part of the hotel rate when there’s a 35€ fee for the use of the pool and jacuzzi.

This hotel is a grand old lady from 1930’s. She is classic. The parts we saw have been restored in keeping with the original style. Our room was clean and a good size with ample storage space and work area. The bathroom was compact with everything necessary fitted in! We ate out but returned for coffee and a drink. They were both excellent and good prices. We found parking in the same street and paid a euro for the privilege. Berck_Plage is a seaside town and very busy in the summer. The hotel is away from the main area so was quiet. Main area and beach start within 250metres.

This hotel is in a lovely place and very close to the beach.
I was shocked to find out it was an extra €35 to use the pool.
When you book a hotel because of the pool ypu don't expect to pay extra.

The location of the hotel is convenient. Unfortunately, there was no parking at the hotel available when we arrived. We were able to park on the road but would have preferred something more secure. The room was fairly large but the interior was a little run-down with stains in the carpet etc. The bed was confortable and large enough. The shower a bit old.
There was no kettle or cups in the room and when I asked if that could be provided, i was told that this was not included in the Standard Room we booked which was disappointing.
The hotel was full and there were a lot of families with children staying so we did not visit the pool area.

We liked the location.
Disappointed that hardly anyone spoke English not able to obtain a menu in English. Disappointed we had to pay for the pool. Pool very busy too many people in the jacuzzi Sauna not working.Disappointed in our room as we booked a double superior room and it was two single beds pushed together. We both have more than eight flea bites each from sleeping in it. Car parking was also €6.50 a night these charges and the pool cost per day were not displayed in your advert.

Friendly English speaking reception staff. Really nice public areas inc Bar. Room was a bit tired and no tea or coffee making facilities. No fan or aircon

The Hotel Regina is in a good position with regards to the beach and the town center - and therefore local restaurants.Parking (in early September) on nearby roads and in car parks was plentiful. The hotel has a car park (6.5 euros) but we weren't offered it. The hotel decor is rather tired, the breakfast restaurant is like a school refectory (although the food was good) and the room was comfortable. The staff were the stereotypical French - sullen and unhelpful. When my wife attempted to speak French to them they laughed at her! Having been attracted to the hotel by the fact that it has a swimming pool it came as a disappointment when we were told that the pool could only be used by paying for the package of pool, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi - at a cost of 35 euros. I should have read other reviews before booking. It's misleading to show a picture of the spa facilities in the promotion of the hotel when such high extra charges are being made.

It was in the right location, room size great, bathroom very small shower cubicle to small to wash in WC in the smallest part of the room to small to wipe your ass you had to stand,
Dining waiter great food not the best breakfast forget it naff is being polite will go back to Berck sur mer again but not to this hotel

Was better than expected having read the reviews especially about clients being attacked by mosquitoes. This was not the case. We booked 2 standard doubles , one of the rooms was half the size of the other & quite pokey for 2 adults. Was clean though & did what we wanted an overnight stop. Berck itself is not somewhere I would return. Lacking in character & a bit run down

used this hotel as an overnighter travelling back to calais. its dated inside but very clean with great staff , didn't eat here at all. it is dated inside but for the cost of £69.00 it was good value

Older hotel but clean and great location, only a block to the beach.

I was using the hotel as a stop over rather than a break so I am not reviewing the Spa or the location. The price was very reasonable. The parking was secure. The breakfast was nice. The hotel felt a little tired in some places. Some maintenance was going on and much of the interior felt more refreshed so it might get to the rooms and the exterior at some point. No air conditioning in the room was a bit of an issue during a heatwave making sleeping less easy. Overall it was good for the price.

Stay was ok, learning about using the pool and hot tub was addition cost was very disappointing, as that was the only reason I booked this hotel. Also, I guess I paid for breakfast unknowingly... and does not look like I will get reimbursed for it, because I didn’t know I purchased it so I did not eat their breakfast.

The room is nice but there's no sound insulation. There is also a 35 EUR charge per couple for the spa . This isn't made clear ahead of time and is disappointing.

We had a great stay at the Regina. Rooms were basic but clean and functional. Our evening meal was very good and reasonably priced. Great location for the beach. Parking was limited and in high season might be an issue. Pool and leisure facilities pricey at 35€, especially if you only want a swim. Overall I’d recommend

There was no mention on booking to book in for the carpark. The room was tired and I think the staff must be too they were less than helpful. The dining room staff were morose to say the least almost to the point of rudeness. We certainly would not stay there again.Oh and PS I understand you have to pay 39€ to use the pool :/

The third bed wasn’t confortable, too bad

Large hotel, with a bar. Read online about the cost of breakfast and the quality, and yes those reviews were right: expensive and poor. However, the evening meals were good quality and choice and compared favourably in price to outiside.
So, we only had breakfast once but eat dinner twice.
We found the staff didn’t speak English, as mentioned on the website by previous users.
Would use again if ever in the area.

Beds were a bit hard and lacking comfort other than that all ok. Shame it costs €35 to go to spa per room. With our family we use two rooms however they did discount to €45. Still a lot to use a pool

Needed somewhere for the night following long drive to Dover/Calais. Previously stayed here 10 years ago. Hotel undergoing repainting and town attempting to reinvent itself. Town has suffered since last visit and hotel not as nice either. Will not be returning here again.

Not made clear on booking use of swimming pool 35 euros per day not per stay. Tea and coffee facilities in room very basic had to ask for refill also no milk.Having said that hotel is nice and room very good with large bathroom.

It's a nice hotel, nothing amazing though.
Looks like an old hotel that has been refurbished relatively recently.
Our room was very small, but we didn't need anything bigger.
Very good central location in Berck. Ample parking nearby.
We didn't have breakfast and didn't use the restaurant or any other facilities so can't comment.
Weather was relatively warm in April, I am not sure if this hotel operates 365 days a year - but if does, that small radiator did not look very convincing.
Overall though, pleasant hotel.

Huge hotel, very close to the beach. Our room was a good size, bathroom looked to have been refurbished.
We didn't make use of many of the facilities as we ate in a restaurant in town for our evening meal.
The breakfast was fine though.
Staff were friendly.

Overall its an ok hotel, it lacked the basics a little bit but made up for it in other areas. The premium room I stayed in was very spacious, comfortable and clean with the added bonus of being excellent value for money. There was some initial confusion where when given our key the receptionist appeared to write a 9 where she meant a 2, resulting in it taking us around 30 minutes after arriving before we were actually in our room. Although I put this down mostly due to communication difficulties both vocally and written. After 2 visits back to the desk a staff member eventually came up and resolved the issue. The hallways and other fixtures throughout the hotel arent particularly well kept, not all lifts work, pool table didnt work, you can see where people have been waling on the hall carpet etc.Where this hotel both redeems its self and excels is in its restaurant it is a real hidden Gem. Producing really excellent quality meals for a meere £20 for a 3 course menu. The waiter who served us was easily one of the most professional waiters Ive came across and provides an excellent michelin star level service and willingly assisted us in translation of the menu.

The rooms are beyond tiny and dated - if you like a hard bed, this is the place for you! Lovely location with promenade within a 2 minute walk and great selection of restaurants in the area, the hotel bar is welcoming and reasonably priced with a great drinks selection. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here for one night. It has a spa and restaurant. The food was beautiful everyone was friendly even though only a couple of staff could speak English. The beach is a five minute walk away with lots of restaurants and gift shops. We definitely would go back!!!

In a grand building full of history, too bad they didnt try to keep it the style it used to be in the early 1900s and just maintain it...its is ideally located in the city, the service is good and employes are very nice. Despite the fact that the rooms are getting old theyre very clean and in a good condition.the acces to the spa is too expensive.

Large hotel! Only saw 2 staff the whole stay! Security guards polite! Would revisit again! Rooms very basic ; no kettle etc.
Would return if watching the money, but would try somewhere else!!!

For the price this was good value. Location is great with the beach and town centre within 2 minutes walk. Rooms and bathrooms are tired looking. Staff friendly and helpful.

Ive stayed here before and always find the staff very helpful good sized rooms if a little tatty around the edges some very dubious stains in the hall carpets good bar open till 1 am and spa facilities although I think that 20 euros each is exorbitant and in fact feel that hotel guests should have free use if the pool and saunaBut my wife and I love berck so will overlook these small things
