The home itself was great and the location and proximity to Yosemite can’t be beat. I’ll be back!

After long days of road trip and walking, this was the perfect spot to recharge. Beautiful home, very clean, well equiped, 10/10. Even seeing bears from the terrace was amazing .

The home is about 1/2 hour drive into Yosemite. It’s well equipped with 7 beds, kitchen is well-stocked, lots of towels and extra beddings, bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We really enjoyed our stay, it’s easy to drive into Yosemite every day, close enough yet away from the crowds. Very comfortable!

Booked this place for my family - I didn’t know anything about the park. This place is in a quiet area of the park. Trails and village are easily drivable. We loved the place and the location.

We stayed two nights as a group of 8. Very spacious and nice home, great location too.

The house is in a wonderful location.. easy to access main attractions of the park. The bedrooms are not as advertised. There are 2 rooms with double beds and one room with a double and a twin with trundle. We were a family of 6 needing 5 separate beds ..that was advertised. The dishwasher was broken and I have never stayed at any vrbo especially one that was 800 plus a night that used such cheap toilet paper, paper towels, dish towels and bathing towels. Ridiculous. Also the coffee pot is a regular pot and you need to bring ground coffee. Lastly power went out at 8:23 am our last day. This was a scheduled outing evidently with no communication re: outage until 11:14am. Just disappointing.

This home is in a beautiful, quiet and secluded neighborhood in Yosemite National Park.
When I first looked into this home, no one could tell me whether you have to drive past the gate of the park before you arrive at the house. So I am telling you now — you have to pass the gate! That means you need reservations if you plan on driving through peak hours.
The house itself is beautiful and large. Although the space of the house is mainly dedicated to the common areas. The bedrooms themselves are a bit on the smaller side, and the beds as well. If you’re taller than 5’ 4” you will find your feet dangling off the bed. But no matter, we’re not here to sleep, we’re here to explore!
I am knocking off a star from the review because there was rat poop in one of the beds. Also a chunk of macaroni and cheese was dried and stuck to the place mats.
If you didn’t know, there is a Unit B downstairs and people may rent that out during your stay. There are no rules on parking. The house has a curved driveway in front of it, and one night we came home from the Valley and the Unit B renter had parked right in the middle of the driveway making it very inconvenient for us at the main lodge. I think it would be better if the company would assign parking for Unit B instead of making it a free for all.
They also request that quiet hours in the house start at 8pm to respect the people in Unit B. 8pm is pretty early. So just be aware of that.
I really enjoyed the deck in the mornings and BBQing at night. The kitchen comes pretty fully loaded with basics you might need. Keyless entry makes coming and going painless as you don’t have to think about carrying keys. But one final word of warning - the WI-FI SUCKS. So if you expect to do work or anything like that while you’re staying at this cabin, think again. Both the 5G and 2G networks were giving me 250KB of data speeds. Really slow.
Overall, because of the size of the bedrooms and size of the beds, I think this house is better suited for a family with lots of kids. I wouldn’t recommend it for a bunch of adults, unless you’re short or don’t mind your feet dangling off the bed, LOL.

This is by far one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!
Sometimes when booking a vacation rental there is always a bit of mystery as to the amenities at the home. Specifically in the kitchen!
This kitchen has it all!!!! Good knives, plenty of cutting boards, BBQ tools, blender, baking pans and sheets, and the list goes on!
Be free and bring all the food and consumables you want! Large modern fridge, lots of space to store dry goods and a counter to accommodate a nice beverage service or Buffett.
There is a TV and DVD setup but don’t waste your time, there are plenty of better options like games, or just sitting fireside and conversing! If you like a little music preload a song list and BYO Bluetooth music player. WiFi is good but streaming is a no go!
Bathrooms, showers, toilets are all well above average. Water flow is great with minimal to no issues with multiple people showering at the same time. The owner provides a little shampoo, conditioner, and soap, but bring your own. Fresh non-scratchy towels!
We stared in the summer, the beds were comfortable and warm enough and on the hot nights, cool enough. Kind of like Goldilocks, just right!
The outside was the best! The house sits less than 20’ from the National Park boundary so your view will always be trees, animals, and forest.
Parking was easy, we had 3 cars for our group, and driving directions in and out were also simple.
If you want to totally avoid the crowds, you virtually have your own slice of untouched Yosemite National Park right out the front door and to the left about 50’. Also a great staging spot for longer hikes.

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. This beautiful home was immaculate, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner. We had a relaxing weekend enjoying the park. The ping pong table was a hit. The house is in the park conveniently located near glacier point, tunnel view and Yosemite village. I look forward to staying again. Wonderful vacation home!
