Perfect location. No view as our room was on the street side. But the Christmas markets were right outside the hotel. The bed was not so comfortable but still worth what we paid.

Very comfortable and quiet room in a great location. Wonderful breakfast selection, especially the fresh fruit. Only negative was the terrible wifi - weak signal that would frequently cut out or not connect at all. It made our travel planning very difficult.

About 10-15 minutes walk from the main train station and close to everything else once at the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor in a standard room. The king bed only had 2 very thin pillows and a queen size comforter to share (staff supplied extra pillows when asked). We overlooked the back area which was quite loud with trucks and restaurant staff both in the evenings and early mornings, even with the windows closed.

Very clean, conveniently located hotel. Tram stop steps outside of entrance. My room on the 6th floor was quite large. Strong wifi signal. Good a/c.convenient refrigerator. As others have mentioned, no microwave. Bed was somewhat hard and uncomfortable. Frosted glass door to toilet, no door on shower area. So not a lot of privacy in that regard.

The room was big and clean. However, the entrance of the hotel has steps, which make it hard to go in with the suitcase. Even to get to the first lift, there are more steps, and despite having an incline, it’s sooo steep that it’s pointless. If you’re a fit person should be fine. But if, like me, you had surgery recently - it’s really hard. This should have been made clear when booked the room. The room had a fridge, but the fridge wasn’t that cool, so wouldn’t be fit to keep food. Maybe a few drinks. Again, this should have be made clear on the ad. Lastly the aircon doesn’t allow to control the temperature has 6 settings: -3 to 3 whatever that is. Even on the -3 wasn’t great. The hotel was clean and central, but I felt let down by the amenities (fridge, lift; aircon) that were supposed to have and were below average.

FOr a three day stay in this hotel an inducement was offered to save on their cleaning costs that we would receive a benefit of a drink. For the two of us that meant two drinks for the whole period of the three days. So in reality it cost them about two euros to save them three days of cleaning costs. Well done them. Suckers us.

A good idea from the hotel is an option for the guest not to have your room made up and towels changed each day. The inducement, however, is absolutely a joke and is rather pathetic. The room was nice and comfortable. We found it off odd that the room with the shower in it did not have a door! They don’t offer washcloths. Other that those two things everything else was great. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful in providing us with tips.

The location is great and it is in old town but when we arrived, the blond lady at the reception looked down at us in such a humiliating way that I couldn't understand the reason as we were so tired. Then I asked for the room and when she learnt that we had a superior room, she changed her treatment and tried to kind to us. I couldn't stop thinking that she was treating the customers according to money they have??? Anyway...I had my mother with me and she had a problem with her leg and she was so tired. Then this blond young lady wanted me to fill in the stupid form via a digital screen and I really found it so stupid as she really saw us being very tired and she ignored it, not even offering us any water or any seat for my mother...She could have fotocopied our passports as we did in the previous hotel in Berlin and when I was doing it, I said the whole procedure was stupid but she said this is the law?? Excuse me but it is not the first time I stay in a hotel and they were better at their treatments with the customers. But this woman repeated the same thing with her cold face with no help offering to us...and I said I will write about it and she kept repeating the same thing as if I dont know anything about the difference between what law says and what the procedure says...anyway I think the hotel should choose better employees to welcome the guests at the reception. Apart from that the breakfast was good.

The only complaint/issue was that the air condition was not working but the staff insisted it was working. It was cooler outside than in our hotel room. We have a balcony but because people on either side of us were out smoking we couldn’t open the doors to get fresh air in. The front desk did provide us with a table fan which did help.

Amazing place to stay! Great location in the center of city. View from the window was outstanding right on the square. Awesome restaurants very close to this place. Easy to park a car. Room was wonderful, very clean and comfortable. Welcoming staff. I loved ever about this place. Highly recommend

Location was great, but one reason we choose was because it has AC. AC never worked properly and appeared to be shut off early every morning. Room got HOT. It was even cooler in hallway. Front desk seemed unable to remedy. Also there is no door in bathroom. Shower is in full view of anyone else in room. We would leave room when somebody had to shower. Weird and inconvenient.

We had a regular room which seemed a bit small but was still comfortable and clean. Air condition was not up for the task, it was limited to either raise it or lower it by 3 Celsius which was not enough to cool the room so we opened the window which lured mosquitos in. Other than that no complaints. We had the breakfast buffet everyday which was amazing! We would stay there again for sure as the location is also perfect.

Service was quite dismal. Didn’t get promised “VIP welcome drink.” No wi-fi in room as promised. Air conditioning was nonexistent. (There was a thermostat on the wall, but you could only set it for 3 degrees above or below the current temperature. Even then, the room never got cooler.) Reception desk was too preoccupied to attend to me when I went to inquire about above issues. (They were both speaking with friends.) The hotel itself was nice and in a good location, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent location and very nice hotel. There are definitely cheaper parking options around which we took advantage of. Only downside was that the VIP perk of a free drink turned out to be water & coffee in the bedroom...a standard in almost all hotels we have visited without expedia perks. Would recommend this hotel & stay again.

Well located hotel close to public transport and restaurants. A little mean spirited as only one bottle of water per stay . Notwithstanding we are gold members and when booking VIP perks stated free beverage and room upgrade if available either were offered.

Terrific last minute booking. Market right out the front door and walkable to and from Hauptbahnhof. Took up the breakfast option and the bakery items in particular straight from the oven. Easy checkin and so easy to walk around the main Altstadt area. Even though it was busy weekend in town the value for money was good. Room was really comfy.
