The ground floor is a great location however that is where it stops. This apartment is in desperate need to redecorating and repairing. The is a huge hole in the the worn out leather lounge, the walls and skirting boards are crumbly and in desperate need of paint and repair, there are tiles missing outside and the inside curtains have black mould on them and the Venetian blinds are dusty and rusty. We had the manager get the cleaner back in as the floors were still dirty and the windows were disgusting with hand and finger marks all over them just to name a few. This apartment is in an ideal location however it desperately needs money spent on it! The owner of this apartment must be greedy and stupid.. with all the other properties on the gold coast why would you expect people to stay here? We had to extend our stay due to flight issues but i couldnt wait to get home. Never again!!

An amazing property with the best location in Surfers a small complex which means minimal people in the pool and using the facilities. Stunning views in the beachfront apartment we stayed in. Close to surfers but not too busy, located opposite a patrolled flagged section of the beach. The property managers were extremely helpful, we can’t wait to stay there again!!

Location that you cannot beat! Really on the beach - and nice walking distance to "downtown Surfers Paradise" so you are still a bit away from it all but can easily join in if you feel like it. Nice appartements, but ours didn't have that great kitchen utensils (only 1 frying pan, no sharp knives, limited number of plates etc) No big issue though. Internet is really poor - but with a decent dataplan of your own, you are OK.

Very central location, great ocean views from every room in the apartment. Only downside was very noisy from cars at all hours, not normal traffic, most likely young guys in loud vehicles who love to hear themselves echo off the buildings. Pool area was great and it was heated.

Fantastic location, walking distance to everything and SENSATIONAL views of the beautiful beach, the pic on website doesn't do it justice. The Apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. Property managers were friendly and helpful. Everything was easy, we didn't want to leave.

Location is great. Right next to the beach. Amenities such as pool, spa and sauna in great condition. Slightlt disappointed by showers in apartment bathrooms that didnt work well. Few of the lights in the bedrooms did not work. Nevertheless, we had a great time.

The property was in an excellent location and we had an enjoyable stay but the wardrobes were broken and need fixing and there was a slight odour in the apartment that didn't go away for the duration of our stay. Someone damaged my car in the underground car park and dented the back passenger door. Apart from that we enjoyed the stay.

We loved the fact that we were on the ground floor. Able to walk out on to the patio and be only seconds to the beach. The suite was huge and even had our own pet geckos.

This is not a hotel at all - it is a 3 star self catering apartment- byo toilet paper and tissues - free internet was terrible and did not stay connected for more 5 minutes- bathroom was not cleaned before we came and had rubbish in it . The beds were terribly soft and over used -left us all with back pain . Before you leave you are given a note from management to clean you own rubbish and wash the dishes or you are charged extra . The rubbish chute is so small it doesn’t even take a rubbish bag . Pool was closed for renovations- although website said would be complete by early December. So disappointed! Not enjoyable at all .

Basically my only issues should resolve themselves but still worth mentioning: The entire grounds around the place were under construction for our entire stay. That meant for starters a number of the facilities were out of commission (pool, lounge area) but more importantly being woken up a dawn every morning by hammers and drills, etc that lasted the whole day was NOT how I wanted to spend my vaca. I'm sure one completed the patio will be fantastic but this really soured my stay.

Excellent location and views, very spacious. Worn out inside and needs a bit more attention to detail in the cleaning and preparation of it, eg light bulbs not working, cleanliness of stove area. Bed was a bit hard but that might just be my personal preference. Did not manage to catch the office managers which didn't really matter to me, although I did visit the office when it was supposed to be open, but it wasn't. Left key in the locked after hours key return slot when I departed but was called by the manager the next day to say they couldn't find the key, so don't know what the story is there. Loved the location, but overall a bit disappointing. Nothing that a bit more attention to detail and customer service wouldn't fix.

Spectacular views and a fantastic location. Great facilities, only a five minute walk to all the restaurants in Surfers and the onsite managers were very friendly. We would definately stay here again.

Arrived to check in early, and we were able to lock the bags away and use the pool/common area until our room was ready. The room was fantastic, views exceptional, and location perfect. We will definitely stay here again

Power points broken in master bedroom and electrical tape stuck on top Hair dryer broken in ensuite and fell off the wall. Sand still left in bath tubs and dining tables from previous guests - not properly cleaned Great location, but wouldn’t go back. Plenty other places for the price along the beachside. Reception only open 9am to 5pm and minimum hours on weekend. They also close an hour for lunch. NOTE: We stayed in the PENTHOUSE BEST apartment and this is what we got. Low maintenance.

The apartments are in a great location with fantastic views but during our stay there was noisy and inconvenient building work going on this started at 7am with drilling and workman on your balcony so suggest you do not stay during this work

Had an issue and instead of trying to sort it out management decided it was time for a money grab. Same issue with friends who stayed there. The office is rarely open even during business hours. Despite this the place is nice and rooms are good.

Loved staying at 8 nights at Berkeley's. The apt was spacious with a beautiful kitchen. Panoramic views of the beach from every room. (There are only 2 apts per floor. Be sure to get the one w complete ocean views) The apt has everything you will need + a grocery store just 7 min walk away at the mall. We did not have a car and appreciated being within easy walking distance of Surfers. There's a shop nearby to rent surfboards and my teenage daughters learned to surf! Berkeley's has a heated pool, hot tub and sauna which were fantastic after getting out of the ocean (we were there end of Aug. - was a little nippy at times) Highly recommend! We booked months in advance and got an excellent deal through Expedia.
