Nice hotel in front if the lake

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Kriss. Our room was clean and comfortable and we slept really well. The hotel is in a fantastic location; a very short walk into Bardolino centre but also walkable to Garda or Cisarno. The hotel beach and sun beds are perfect for sunbathing and enjoying swimming in the lake. We really enjoyed using the hotel paddle boards too!
Breakfast was a real highlight. There was so much choice and it was absolutely delicious! Especially the egg station where you could choose how you’d like your eggs cooked freshly for you. The staff are all wonderful, super friendly and helpful. We loved our holiday and will certainly be back!

This is our second visit, we loved it. Great location, away from the busy town area but close enough to walk to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of items to choose from.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant and so helpful, particularly Matteo on reception - nothing was too much trouble for him as I had a few issues organising my journey home. Super location.Breakfast excellent. My only issue was the people next doorwho were very noisy, but there was not a lot to be done about that. Would definitely stay again and recommend. I was a solo traveller so the ambience and helpfulness of the staff was very important to me. Thank you so much.

A beautiful hotel with staff who wanted to help with every query. Lovely stay, cannot recommend highly enough.

Awesome location, friendly staff, very clean!

When I arrived, the receptionist was not there. When she did appear, she was rude and unhelpful in educating me about breakfast, internet access, breakfast, etc. She took my passport and was told to go to my room and come back in 10 minutes to retrieve my passport
It go better from there. The hotel is across the street from the lake and had a great balcony view. The breakfast was varied and good. The room was a decent size. I didn't like the fact that a guest had to pay a daily rate for the safe....shouldn't be the case in a four star. There was also no coffee maker in the room, also unusual for a 4 star. I think because the location is very good, the hotel thinks they can skip these 2 amenities. The walk to the bus stop is about 10-15 walk.

Great location, great wait staff.

The staff are amazing as is the breakfasts and location. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and there is a real lack of storage especially in the bathroom

Beautiful location right on the lake shore which our room directly overlooked. Check in was very efficient & friendly. The girl took us to a free private parking bay, because on Wed & Thurs am, as there is a street market and the car would get towed. The hotel serves a good breakfast and has a bar, but does not have a restaurant. However there are a great choice of excellent restaurants in the town, which is a 400m stroll along the promenade. Even late at night the area is well lit and safe. The hotel does have a rooftop sundeck, but this was closed in October. The room was clean with modern bathroom. I liked the hotel and we plan to return in the spring.

Ciao. This hotel is on the edge of town with a few local eateries within a few steps. The exteria and views are not pretty but inside is fresh new and large. The room itself was larger than many European hotel rooms in big cities. Reception and breakfast staff were helpful when asked. Breakfast is good value and diningarea is large. We didn't find that staff go out of their way to provide service, but, all staff seem to do their job. Shower was large but mouldy cnrs and in need of a good bleach. Bed was hard. Rooms are not, I repeat not, sound proof. The area was ok, handy 15 min walk to city passed the prostitutes on the cnr bus stop (you go girls), the graffiti strip a few right turns up a bit and you're there 😳. Ciao

Check-in was very easy, very helpful staff and easy check out. Looked after our bags as late return flight and have area to shower and change before leaving for the airport.
We didn’t have a balcony and was not needed, we did overlook the lake which was fantastic to wake up to those views.
Very useful having a fridge in the room, much appreciated.

Hotel staff are very helpful and polite, the breakfast had plenty of choice and a station where you could have eggs cooked anyway you wish. Plenty of seating area inside and outside of the hotel. The room and the hotel was kept extremely clean, you can rent bikes from the hotel and €7 for 5 hours, there are good cycle routes either way from the hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located being lakeside and a short stroll to restaurants and bars. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had an upgraded room overlooking the lake which was great but not sure about the standard rooms.
All in all a great hotel and we wouldnt hesitate to return.

Staff was very helpful and spoke above average English. The breakfast is outstanding and a very pleasant dining area. The restaurant was not serving dinner since they were looking for a chef but there are lots of dining options nearby. Rooms are modern and clean. There is a great private pier/dock for swimming in a very clean Lago de Garda.

Brilliant stay for our 20th wedding anniversary. Position of hotel with a lake view from our room was great. Possibly the walk up to the centre of town was a bit long but it is a pleasant stroll alongside the lake. The draw back was taking luggage back and forth on arrival and departure to the bus station in very hot weather and that is even with transfers that the hotel arrange. In fairness the arrival minibus did take us straight to the hotel as was not out of his way but we elected to do local bus to airport on leaving as we had in any event to walk to the bus station and we would save around 30 euros. The staff are really nice people. From our first arrival drink to when we left nothing was too much. the breakfast was excellent with everything you would want including an egg man to do you a fresh omelette, scrambled, boiled ,poached or fired eggs!!!! The young lady waitresses who provide service at the hotel and on its small beachfront are really warm and friendly. Even the night porter is pleased to help you. Even if you walked back in at 2 am he was there and keen to serve you a nightcap. reception was manned by 4 different people whilst we were there but each of them provided great help. We remained impressed how flexible and versatile everybody was. All staff were prepared to be inter- changeable and generally muck in. very refreshing in these days of its not my job!! We had a special week helped by some special people and would recommend.

Good location and helpful staff. Disappointed with no English TV channels and dust in room.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Bardolino. The rooms are cosy and clean and the service from reception to breakfast staff was excellent. Great variety of food and beverages at breakfast. As we went out of season the hotel was quiet but looks to have lots of amenities for when the sun is shining.

If they put tea and coffee making facilities in the room, that would be a big improvement for their U.K. Guests.

Lovely town. Efficient hotel with excellent staff.

A fantastic stay for six nights. From start to finish this hotel ticked all the boxes for my wife and I .
Check in was stress free which was great after a long journey. We had booked a room overlooking the lake , a bit more expensive but worth it, the room itself was excellent very clean and modern plenty of storage, comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. Breakfast was excellent with fresh eggs cooked however you like with meats and pastries plentiful.
Saving the best till last the staff are amazing nothing is to much problem and always a smile they all make this hotel what it is.
Private sun beds and lunches are served right at the side of the lake.
No Complaints.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Hotel. On arrival we were given a welcome drink and the reception staff were very helpful.
The hotel is conveniently situated alongside Lake Garda and is a few minutes walk from Bardolino town centre and approximately 40 minutes walk to Garda. The views across the Lake are beautiful and it is a quiet location (except on Thursday morning when the market stalls are set up for the day).
Our room was very comfortable and immaculately clean, although due to an issue with double bookings we were transferred to a suite for the last 2 nights of our stay. The suite was very good except the lighting which could be improved in the tv lounge area.
During our stay, I was impressed with the courtesy and helpfulness of the reception staff. They certainly made us feel very welcome.
I would recommend the hotel to couples as a quiet and relaxing owned hotel. It is also welcomes dogs as well as their owners.

This hotel is perfectly situated for the lake and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Bardolino centre is a short walk away. There is no pool but the hotel is on the lake. Strangely we were not told about the roof top Jacuzzi and did not find out about it till we read reviews after our return. The bar staff were always polite and friendly and the night porter was obliging. However, we did feel that there was a lack of hospitality from the reception staff and a lack of information and basic facilities for coffee and tea making in the rooms. We arrived at the hotel at 9.00 a.m. after travelling most of the night. We were exhausted. We went to reception, and as expected, we were told that we could not book in till 1.30 - 2.00 but we could leave our luggage. Breakfast was being served but we were not invited to partake. Being disorientated through lack of sleep and not knowing the area, our option was to find a lounger and sleep until we could book in . It would have been nice to at least have been offered a coffee. On check in we were given minimal information about the hotel and there was none in the room. We did find a book in reception but it did not include information on the fact that they hired bikes, or the rooftop Jacuzzi. The breakfast was adequate but coffee was from a machine and the orange juice was not fresh. This is a lovely hotel in many ways, which could be greatly improved with a little more hospitality and information.

Kriss International Hotel, Bardolino, Lake Garda.
We spent time choosing this hotel and we are glad we decided to stay there. The hotel is bright and modern, comfortable and clean with friendly efficient staff, a bar, a decent restaurant and outside space on the lake edge reserved just for guests. The hotel stands a few feet from the shores of Lake Garda across a quiet tree lined avenue and there are great views across lake in all directions. We chose a Junior Suite which was very clean and comfortable and found the wide range of food at breakfast suitable for all.
The stroll into Bardolino centre and the ferry dock took about 8 minutes and there is a wide range of bars & restaurants and plenty of small shops to browse after dinner. Try Beppina's restaurant down a quiet side street if you can find it. All in all we were very impressed with Lake Garda, Bardolino and the Hotel Kriss International and would have no hesitation recommending all three to other discerning travellers but not really for young children.
