The hotel is in a very central, busy location, quite old and the rooms need renovation desperately. Nevertheless, the room had space, it was safe and the stuff is friendly.
Overall, it was good value for money.

nearness to the sea, easy access to many plazas, old but acceptable.

I just loved the cozy small family-owned hotel. The location was top for me. Near Canteras Beach and the lovely Farray square.
Also the city center is near.
Victoria, the owner was fantastic.
Of course the the rooms are not modern, but they are clean and comfortable. Also wifi connection functioned very well!

I stayed there only for a night due to overbooking at the other place I had. Located close to a nice “local square” with lots of people during night. A small cheap hotel but a little to much noise from the street for my likings.
Close to the beach, shops and restaurants.

It’s a very old hotel - a throw back from the 70’s, but fir the price/ location you cannot fault it. I got exactly what I booked. Perfectly clean.

Basic hotel, clean, centrally located, lots of construction going on, bars, restaurants, beach all minutes away as in 2-3 minutes

The lady who runs (possibly owns?) this hotel is lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Arrival is then made simple as she is normally there.
There is a lift if you're above the second floor and would like to avoid to much exercise.
The rooms are very dated but, also kept immaculately clean by the staff. No problems with hot water supply etc.
However, the beds are terrible, they look like they have come from a prison. The creakiest things I've ever heard. The pillows are lumpy and feel like they've been filled with giant stale marshmallows!!!
However, for position, convenience and value. I do recommend the Olympia

Beds very uncomfortable I did book a double room and we ended up with singles .
I would like a refund on the breakfast we booked which we didn't use or certainly enjoy .
I think 50 euros is very extreme for what was on offer. We left the hotel to eat breakfast daily. I wouldn't recommend to a friend just not worth the money that was payed .
We have stayed in gran canaria for a period of 7 years 4 times a year this was not in my opinion good valve for money very disappointed

Hotel was in city centre so was rather noisey with traffic all hours of the day and night , lots of noise from the bars in the square as well .
However was only a short walk to the promenade .
The hotel reception staff were there cant say much more but the staff serving breakfast and cleaning the rooms were very friendly .
The hotel room we stayed in was very dated .

A small hotel that is good placed. We got a small room that vad the window facing a square that hsd a street and a café thst was heard during the early nigth. Simple breakfast, no buffé.
Simple hotel suited for short stop at fairly low price. As we used it, for one nigth.

Hotel is well located. Walking ditance from Bus Station of Santa Catalina and 2 blocks from Playa de las Canteras. A lot of choices to eat around the hotel as well as in the bullevard of Canteras Beach. The owner Victoria is very friendly as well as the staff. They provided good advice.
