Very friendly atmosphere. Limited offerings for breakfast but they were cooked freshly and were delicious. There were freshly baked goods available to guests as well as unlimited drinks, tea & coffee. Quite a homely feel to the place. The maid service was optional and as we are conscious of the environment we chose not to have sheets or towels changed during our stay and were happy to have that option. The location was very central and overall we had a great stay. Fiona Leahy

We were there for only one night. Front desk service was excellent. Room was clean. Hotel was decorated for Fall.
Was very impressed with the breakfast.

Nice area. Clean hotel, zero caracter, all plastic and cheap and ugly furniture, contrasting with the place and area, very Mickey Mouse, is not worth the price.

Great stay at a perfectly located place. Even the breakfast was great! Will definitely return again when we next visit Bar Harbor & Acadia.

The day before our arrival we were told that our room was not available. Excuse was broken tile. They instead reserved us a room at another property. That property was very disappointing. The room was small with angled walls and closet converted to very small bathroom with slanted wall. After complaining we were given another room that was better if we ignored the missing shelf and stained ceiling in bathroom. They agreed to reduce price. Very disappointed in this forgettable stay.

Great boutique type hotel for couples! B&B feel, terrific breakfast included. Can walk to Village Green and shops in Bar Harbor waterfront. Room wasn’t huge, but very well organized and decorated; very clean too! Great front porch w/ rocking chairs:).

Great stay! We loved this place- so quaint and homey.. beautiful grounds. Free breakfast was delicious and so convenient. Our first 2 nights were spent in a first floor room called “yellow birch” it was decent. Pretty standard - but when we extended our stay 1 more night we moved to the “burnt porcupine” room- definitely an upgrade. So roomy and cute little terrace. Staff were friendly and on site laundry was helpful. Location is walkable to the downtown areas - great free parking here too!

This place was great. Very clean and great breakfast with a lovely porch to eat out on a nice day. Walkable to town, and an Elevator for accessibility. The only negative was that we couldn’t get the air conditioner unit to work. We happened to run into the front desk clerk in the hallway. When we approached him with our issue, he said he couldn’t talk to us he was “off the clock.” So we had a very hot uncomfortable night, especially my 90 year old mom. We saw him the next morning and he asked how our night was. We told him about the air and he said not to try to adjust the wall unit, to instead adjust the thermostat on the wall. Wish he would have just said that the night before. I respect his boundaries being off the clock though the same energy it took him to say he was “ off the clock” he could have said, “ did you try the thermostat on the wall?” Other than that it was very nice.

Great place for our family.

Nice in town location. Close to everything. Small rooms. Would expect better pillows and premium bedding. No robes- expected in this category.
Nice daily breakfasts. Fairly friendly service.
No maid service, after nearly a week- after requesting. Finally came thru.
A mid level Inn with high prices, that don’t quite match.

Absolutely lovely stay. Fantastic rooms, very clean and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast

The proximity to downtown Bar Harbor is excellent. There is ample parking. The staff was very personable. The breakfast was a a good option if you don’t want to pay to go to a local restaurant for every meal—with both a sweet and a savory option. I enjoyed the egg frittata with balsamic glaze.
However, after staying a a true bed and breakfast in Camden previously—I do feel that calling this place an “Inn” is misleading. It is less of a true bed and breakfast, and more a small hotel with an Inn exterior. Thus, it was more commercial and basic in its furnishings and lacked the charm of a true coastal Bed and Breakfast.
At the price I paid per night, I expect better quality furnishings; more updated, luxurious bathrooms; and overall a cleaner room.

It was fine. The bed was a little uncomfortable. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was average. It was very expensive but I assume that was because it was in season.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The bed was comfy and the staff was really accommodating when we asked for extra pillows. There were warm cookies available each afternoon, which was a nice touch, and the breakfast was pretty good. Each day for breakfast they offer a sweet and savory option plus they have typical continental style options, so there is plenty to eat. We also liked the location of this hotel. It was in a pretty quiet area, but we could easily walk to the center of town (6 minute walk) and drive to Acadia National Park. Having a washer and dryer on the first floor was a nice touch as well.
In terms of things we didn’t love…
The bathroom here wasn’t my favorite, but it was workable. The bathroom faucet is located in the entryway to the room whereas the toilet and tub/shower are in the bathroom. It made the bathroom feel small and cramped, but it was workable. While breakfast was good, it was a little slow sometimes. Even though they have a sweet option and a savory one, a lot of people were asking for custom breakfasts (using the same ingredients), which the staff obliged. It was nice of the staff to be so agreeable, but I think it made the breakfast take longer. One day I waited 30 minutes for an omelet. The speediness of having a limited menu is defeated when you take all kinds of menu requests.
Overall though we liked the hotel and would stay here again.

Beautiful Inn and cozy rooms. Extremely clean but not over powering. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful Inn. The location was quiet but a 5 minute walk to everything you would want to do in this little harbor town. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was great, they did make a few custom things for us to accommodate our diet issues. The grounds had a beautiful garden and was so quaint. Easy and plenty of parking. Safe area, which is the most important thing to me.
