Very nice property and grounds, breakfast was good, and the addition of a pool was a bonus. It's located about a 20min walk to the Lucca walls, which we easily done every day. Minor issues would be the metal four poster bed take up a little too much space in the rooms, the pool area could be a little cleaner (signs of algae around tiles). One problem which is not associated with the B&B, is the lack of Taxi's in Lucca, we arrived at the train station in the evening, and there were no Taxi's to be found, we ended up waiting about 45mins before we found one. Most evenings you cannot find a taxi in Lucca to take you back to the B&B, unless you phone. We ended up walking each time!

Lovely property in a great area. Easily walkable to Lucca centre

The hotel had a lovely swimming pool and the breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good choice . The hotel however was a 20 minute trek to the walls of lucca ( and often a long walk within) . There were very limited facilities around the hotel so nowhere to eat or drink without going into the walls. You need a car if you want to get around .

Lovely fairytale type hotel very close to the centre of Lucca. We arrived too late for reception but the owner left us a lovely message with guidance to our keys and room.

A quirky alternative to the usual bog standard b & b. The pool area was lovely and peaceful. The room was a good size although quite dark. The bed was super comfy! The breakfast was ok although could offer a bit more variety rather than lots of sweet options. Not too far from Lucca set in a quiet location with easy access to the main roads to Florence, Pisa etc. Very helpful on reception.

A charming and comfortable b&b at a quiet corner of town! Very helpful and kind staff. Clean and well-kept room. Superb breakfast. Convenient parking inside the gates. An easy walk (15 mins.) to the old city gate.

Comfortable stay. Shame no tea/coffee facilities in the room and restricted to only one hot drink at breakfast. Reception not manned most of the time. But generally a good stay.

Great place to stay, staff was amazing, close to everything walking which is always a plus, rooms were very clean.. our problem was a very uncomfortable bed, flat pillows and very thin walls... very pleasant place to stay just not a great place to sleep

Our 1st stay in Tuscany and this wee place was a gem. Lovely accommodation, very quirky with the "Knights around the place" great choice of breakfast, and lovely to have the pool to cool down in the warm Italian sunshine.

This place is a scam, I almost cried when we entered. we booked based on good ratings a double room with description that says 193 sq feet with balcony, (not a single occupancy room, and def not an attic) They threw us into an attic room prob size of 100 sq, forget about balcony not even a window in the room! Made us climb 4 levels of stairs with all of our suitcases. When we went to ask the front desk how much more can we pay to get a bigger room, the person is super impatient and said hotel is completely booked and I looked at hotel.com it's saying there are still 4 rooms to book , and they all are cheaper and bigger than the price I paid for ! Worst experience with hotel.com and Italy hotels so far, def ruined our trip. If this was back home, I would've refused to pay. But this place put in condition saying expect room to look different, if refuse to pay, I'd get sued and need to pay attorney fee too. How clever .
Oh and btw. The led tv they claim to have is a 6 inch screen, I can't believe they call that a tv!ill make sure to take photos.

Great gem of a place as it's a quiet B&B only 15 min walk to Lucca town.
Need to make sure people are aware reception closes at 5pm and no-one is there to greet you, but if you arrive after then and have advised them, there is a key waiting for you.
Clean and lovely rooms - great breakfast too

Excellent breakfast facilities. Down side no staff after 17:00pm and rooms very noisy, due to others partying till the early hours. Bathroom facilities were dreadful shower broken, but as we only stayed one night didn't bother complaining. Staff very helpful. Overall experience good.

Rooms nice clean and full of character. Breakfast buffet nice, location good for getting around. Pool area a little disappointing as the only time we saw it get cleaned was after the pool water turned green (just like in the olympics). However all in all a very nice place.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Corte dei Templari. The room was on the ground floor, and there was only one window in the bedroom and a small one in the bathroom. The lighting wasn't very bright, so the lack of windows made for a dark room. The room was rather small for two adults and a 10 year old. But the room was clean, and the bathroom was nice. The shower was on the small side...not alot of "wiggle room." There also was no place for personal toiletries...no shelves for storage. The pool area was superb...well kept and very manicured! There were enough lounge beds for everyone, so no skimping there. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of selections. Scrambled eggs were made very well! But, the inside dining area was so hot! One day the air conditioning was actually turned on, which made it tolerable. The steam from the coffee makers in the kitchen made the eating area and the buffet area feel like a steam bath!
The staff, however, was very kind and helpful!

The room was always spotless. The breakfast spread magnificent. All in all a wonderful holiday experience.

We stayed one night only , but felt very welcome. Its only15min walk from Lucca main atractions .
Place has great facilities , swimming pool , car parking. Place is very quirky , feels like you are in small modern castle :)
Breakfast is simply delight full! Best in Italy :)

The hotel was a little too far to walk comfortable and the street is very dark if you are walking late. They didn't have the bikes that were supposed to be available per the internet but otherwise it was an excellent place to stay.
