One of the best in this area.
Thanks to Alfonso. He is the man to go see.

Breathtaking views, extremely helpful staff (especially Alfonso), ample air conditioning (esp. in August), easy access to pier with lounge chairs and the water! But you need to rent a car, or use a taxi or bus to get around.

Lovely small hotel with a great beach club - located in a charming small seaside town - un-crowded local vibe - unlike the touristy parts of Sorrento and the coast which are overrun

We loved our stay at the property. The rooms are clean and updated with a nice balcony with stunning views. The owners were very accommodating and served a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. The area is small and quiet, but would make a great base for various excursions away from the crowds.

We booked Palazzo Murrano after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our choice! What a lovely boutique hotel, very spacious, clean and bright rooms with lovely sea views. Situated on the harbour it gives easy access to buses, ferries and some lovely restaurants. It also has Murrano Mare a beach area to relax and sun bathe with a restaurant and waiter service- wonderful!
The very best part of our stay however were the staff at the hotel. Alfonso is a superb host, he was in contact with us via email soon after we booked our stay to help and advise on trips to book and places to visit . He welcomed us on arrival and showed us around and gave us all of the information we needed. He had already booked 2 full day trips with a driver ( Libero) to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii and a super wine tasting at Russo wines (day 1) and Ravello, the Emerald cave and lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. ( day 2 )Libero was a brilliant driver/guide who was very personable and provided great insight into local life. He ensured our 2 days were very relaxed and stress free. We would definitely recommend his services.
Alfonso was always on hand to suggest and arrange trips. We felt very looked after at all times thanks to Alfonso. We must also mention Nella who provided a wonderful array of breakfast options every morning which we enjoyed on the roof terrace. Thank you so much Alfonso and all at Palazzo Murrano for giving us an unforgettable stay.

Off the tourist trail of Amalfi coast. This gem of a hotel and resort is untouched by the large tourist areas of sorrento and beyond. The facilities boast access to the local beach club with a fantastic restaurant underneath the hotel (best meal we had).
Lovely people, weather great and the local Grangano to die for. Please dont let the popularity of Amalfi/Atrani/Positano reach Seiano

We were immediately impressed by the message from management at Palazzo Murrano upon booking our trip. It was welcoming and informative. And the quick response to our questions, offering suggestions to make the best of our week on the Amalfi coast made us realize we made the perfect choice for our vacation! When we arrived (using the transportation they arranged), we were greeted and taken immediately to our room, the Amalfi Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The balcony was beautiful, with views of the coast, and Vesuvius in the distance. We then went to breakfast, and was greeted by Nella with an espresso, fresh pastries, eggs, and more in the breakfast area on the 4th floor. She was there every morning at 7:30am to greet us with a smile! The entire staff was so friendly, and Alphonso the manager was always available to help. He arranged transportation to the local train station (10mins to Sorrento, 25mins to Pompeii, 60mins from Naples), booked our boat trip to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, and so much more. This resort is close to numerous local restaurants, their own pier that has sun chairs, food, and drinks, and is a great central location to see the Amalfi Coast! In a week we were able to visit Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Pompeii. If you are looking for an intimate setting with excellent service and accomodations, this is the perfect place!

Great hotel. Everyone very helpful. Not a lot to do in the area but ferry to Capri is right in the marina. The train is a bit of a hike but coming back is all down hill.

Everything about the holiday was just perfect, the staff were so helpful, plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, loads of beaches, excursions to do, two train stations near by and so much more, the Palazzo Mare is stunning to have drinks and food on. Breakfast was delicious and the locals are lovely as well! Not a bad word to say about the hotel or the surrounding area

All I have to say is BRAVA!!! If you are looking for an absolute amazing staff and cleanliness spacious rooms with beautiful views and accommodations, then look no further, it’s this place! From the moment we arrived we felt like family and now I can definitely call them that! The breakfast is on the rooftop with awesome views in the cutest room where we started our day with their wonderful chef Nella! She was an absolute doll, and made the most delicious breakfast and always there with your cappuccino or expresso. She goes out of her way for you and is so sweet, friendly and did I mention she makes delicious food? Just making sure because I can’t say it enough! She is amazing and such a pleasure! Giuseppe and Francisco, their front desk representatives and their manager Alfonso are so sweet, friendly, delightful and absolute gems to be greeted with and so helpful. They accommodate and go out of their way for you with their own little special touches! They definitely point you in the right directions for when it comes to food, excursions or transportation! These guys are the best and can’t say enough about all of them!
Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us! We absolutely loved you guys and had such a blast and funny moments because of all of you! Although this was our first time, it most definitely won’t be our last! We will be back! We will see you soon our Palazzo Murrano family! With love and happiness - Amand & Craig xoxo ciao

The hotel was extremely accommodating and the service exceptional. The hosts of the hotel were super sweet and the boat ride to Capri right outside the hotel was the cherry on the cake! Would recommend 12/10!!!
4.0
The room was large, comfortable and had everything needed. A few nice restaurants within walking distance. Only downside was being isolated from everything. A difficult and very long walk up to Vico Equenses for shopping, restaurants and to the train. The hotel shuttle was non existant. The private beach and marina were closed due to it being "low season".

Alfonso was great coordinating the visit and even getting flowers at my request. Nella was awesome in the kitchen and breakfast a great start to each day! The room was amazing, decor stunning and the little fishing village perfect hideaway from otherwise busy tour.

All the reviews, are spot on! Best: location, rooms, breakfast. But most important, Alfonso made you feel like family. His advise and consideration is unmatched and he could teach the rest of the world, how service should be done. Bravo!!

The gentleman that checked us in was amazing. Perhaps the best ever in helping us make arrangements. A real rock star in the hospitality industry.

Wonderful boutique hotel with caring management and staff. Extremely clean. Breakfast is fine but not exceptional. Somewhat noisy location on weekends.

We enjoyed our Stay at Palazzo Murrano. Alfonso & Giuseppe were wonderful hosts going out of their way to accommodate. Breakfast in the morning was enjoyed on the roof top which was a nice perk and a great way to start the day. The beach club access was a wonderful amenity of the Hotel. Restaurants in the area varied in quality and service. Ferry to Sorrento was easy access from the Marina. Thank you Palazzo Marina Team.
5.0
The hotel was very clean & the staff was extremely friendly. The marina area had about 10 places to choose from as far as food. There were two public beaches & the beach club as options for swimming. The breakfast was on the roof & had a good assortment of things to eat. The view from the room was great. There was a bus to bring you to town but it was very unreliable. They helped us arrange our ferry transfer to our next stop. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional staff accommodated our needs
Conveniently located in port where boat rental options are available for cruising the coast. Superb restaurant Parlato!

We really enjoyed staying at this boutique hotel. Our suite with balcony was very spacious and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel staff and manager “Alfonso” was very friendly & helpful in planning for our cab rides & activities.

What a find. The place is absolutely perfect in the most beautiful (and very quiet) village with lovely restaurants.
Alphonso and the team were superb throughout our entire stay and can’t thank them enough.
A PROPER hidden gem

Perfect secluded location, staff was very friendly and helpful and the organized tours were top notch. Many thanks to Alfonso and his staff for making this a highlight of our Italy trip.

This hotel is one of the best we have ever visited! Such an amazing experience! Great location, close to the sea and marina. Beautiful and charming house with only 8 rooms. The friendly service is excellence from Alfonso and his team. And the beachclub is really a bonus, just a few steps away. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking a ”home away from home”! And we will for sure come back!

Alfonso the manager took care of us from the day we booked. We had the Capri Suite on the top floor, we got our value for the money spent and more. Great restaurant options in the area including Murrano Mare Restaurant owned by the same company. Just awesome!! Totally enjoyed our stay and we look forward to the next one.
2.5
Amazing hotel stay on the water! Best room in the hotel with a deck that spans almost the whole top floor! Can’t best the views and cleanliness! Great support staff also!

This is a hidden gem close to all the attractions that Salerno region has to offer. The property is not less than 5 star. The staff is amazing and location is excellent!!

Our stay at the Palazzo Murrano was completely perfect. The hotel has brilliant views right by the sea and a handful of incredible restaurants right by the front door. Vico equense is a beautiful town and a great place to stay to see this special part of Italy. Alfonso was brilliant, he was in contact since we booked our stay and was full of recommendations for what to do and where to eat, he did everything he could to make sure we had a wonderful time and made us both feel very welcome. Nella put together a delicious breakfast every morning and everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were having a great holiday. The only thing that would have improved it is if we could have stayed for longer!

The staff was extremely helpful, they provided cheap and excellent tour guides, breakfast , everything. They are excellent people and I extremely recommend this hotel!

Would give 10/10 if the Murrano Mare was still open. With it closed it is really not a beach resort of any kind. Actually no sun other than on the roof top breakfast. Nice restaurants in the area, but some of them closed for one or more days during the week. Probably because of the late season. (October). All in all a good experience, and probably Even better in peak season.

The location, the view, the rooms, the rooftop, and especially the staff - everything was top notch. The staff stayed up late past midnight to make sure we checked in. They helped us book a wonderful day trip to capri and the rooms were a dream. We loved waking up and having breakfast on the rooftop with that gorgeous view and watching sunsets from our balcony in the evening.

Well kept classic built but totally renovated! unsuitable for weelchair guest or difficulty with some stairs , the elevator stays at actually first floor not at the goundfloor

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Located in a small quiet seaside town. It was the perfect home base to explore the Amalfi coast. The hotel is completely updated with modern amenities but still has that old world charm. Bright clean rooms, great water view. Perfect balcony to sit and people watch or just relax. Delicious breakfast is served on the roof top patio every morning. Capuchinos and eggs any style are made to order upon request. Service and attention to detail is part of what makes this hotel so special.
Alfonso, the hotel manager is such a nice and helpful person. He gave use detailed directions on our best options to explore each of the Amalfi cities with the best results. He also gave us recommendations about were to eat close by. His suggestions where perfect. Meet wonderful new people including Maria wife to the chef/owner of 2 of the resturant/bars there ibaretti. Everyone is so warm and caring can’t wait to go back.

We stayed here for four nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Very clean and modern hotel. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The pier is very nice place to relax with good food and wine. It’s a quiet area that has several nice bar/restaurants. Would definitely visit again.
