I found a dirty used towel after checking into my room. The whole property has seen better days (in the 2000s?). Once you feel disgusted, you see all the brown patches on walls and pillows. I complained, but did not feel understood. We left after the first night, despite we paid for 5. No refund. It is ridiculous for the price, and I do not understand why expedia.com lists this property. Do not go there.

Needs a lot more attention to cleanliness in the bathrooms. Especially the toilet. Property is quite remote from Ubud center. The staff is very nice.

Honestly, it was a little disappoitment compare to other bookings: we stayed here for 6 nights in the 2 bedroom villa. Breakfast: long waiting time for the food, one day even more than 1 hour! After complaing on the recepction, we received advise to book the breakfast one day before on the exact time e.g. 9am., but still I missed some good time management. Hot water: we had trouble with hot water in both rooms, after few minutes we had only lukewarm water. Equipment: some of the furniture needs to be renewed

A beautiful hotel with very courteous staff. Villa was lovely we didnt find the outdoor furniture very comfortable. Gorgeous bathroom fab bath and shower. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely. Had evening meal didnt rate it. But restaurant 2 minutes walk away was fabulous. Very close to waterfall and paddy fields. Approx 20 minutes from Ubud in the countryside so was quiet peaceful and a small cost for a driver into Ubud. The grounds of the area are beautiful too

The villa had a private pool which is probably the only perk. The villa had countless mosquitos and other bugs. The mosquito net has holes all over it and you still get numerous bites by noting. The villa is poorly lit and the toilet is outdoors where you can be sure to be watched or attacked by bugs. The villa is also in the middle of nowhere, advertised as Ubud but anything but. It takes 30 minutes by cab to make it to Ubud. You cannot walk as the surrounding roads are very steep hills with no lighting whatsoever.

By mistake we have booked the wrong month for this hotel (June instead of July) and they refused to cancel, move the booking or give us any refund even when we offer to make another booking for the correct date. We understand that policy’s are there for us all to adhere, nevertheless for a mistake so small like this we feel the hotel management has been very unkind.

Me and my partner were very disappointed with this place. We expected it to be the same as they advertised it to be. We got there And it was a shock. The villa was so very uncomfortable and we didn’t feel clean at all. The staff were nice. The location of the place was horrible and way to far from everything. They notified us while we were booking that we had a view of the rice fields and we did not have no view of anything other then construction workers. We had to order room service because their was nothing around us, the room service wasn’t the best for its price but whatever. I do not recommend this places what’s so ever. Like I said we are very disappointed and will not being returning ever again. It’s very sad when one advertises a place and when you get there it’s not what you imagined. This location was part of our honeymoon and we did not feel like it was our honeymoon. We didn’t even go into the private pool because it was dirty and we were disgusted. Very very upsetting.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dedary . The customer service is the best we have ever experienced, rooms amazingly clean, private pool fantastic, room prepared morning and night, menu is awesome. The daily shuttle service transport you to and from Ubud Central daily, the staff arranged tours for us with short notice. We spent a wonderful 9 night , could not ask for anything, we will miss everyone. Can not wait to come back soon.

I absolutely loved The Dedary!! Everyone that works there is so nice and welcoming! The grounds are amazing, the villas are phenomenal and the food and service is exceptional! I stayed at The Dedary for 12 nights and wished I could have stayed longer. I have to give sincere thanks to the staff: Yogi, Widi, Yoga, Pita,July, Ari and Made. I know I probably forgot a few names but everyone is amazing! It totally felt like a family atmosphere! I can’t wait to return to Bali and The Deadry! Thank You, Miss Landa

We liked the presentation and layout of the villa, huge bed, swimming pool was very nice. However, it was very cold and never at room temperature, some bugs in the bathroom. Service was amazing, along with the communication. Location was very good, close to the major sites.

We stayed our last week here out of a 3 week vacation. Love this place. Situated on the outskirt of town. Very peaceful and truly magnificent. You won't be disappointed. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again if I have the chance.

The breakfast in the pool is exactly as pictured. Food was delicious with plenty of variety. The outdoor pool is amazing, and the free shuttle service to Ubud was well worth it to explore the city for a day. Highly recommend the hotel and could not be happier with the experience.

　Two Bedroom Valley Suite with Private Poolに3泊しました。　これまでにバンヤンツリー・プーケットの2ベッドルームプールヴィラや、マリーナベイサンズが見えるリッツカールトンや、ラスベガスにあるベラッジオのペントハウススイートや、チチカカ湖の島にある5つ星ホテルや、部屋からピラミッドが見える旧オベロイなど、色々なホテルに泊まってきました。　今回泊まったヴィラはこれまでで二番目に素晴らしんじゃないかと思う部屋でした。　設備はまだ新しく十分綺麗で、セカンドベッドルームのリヴィングエリアが広くて開放的。そこから見える景色が素晴らしい。谷の田んぼを挟んだ向こう斜面にはヤシの木が並んでいてその向こうには田んぼが見えていて見飽きることがありませんでした。　食事も予想外に美味しくて、一食千円台とリーズナブル。ずっとヴィラで食べていました。　スタッフも素晴らしく、笑顔で応対してくれます。　無料のモーニングツアーも素晴らしい。近くの村を散策し、民家も見学させてくれます。田んぼのあぜ道を歩くとカルガモみたいな鳥たちが慌てて稲の間に逃げ込んでいきます。　二度同じところには行かないと決めていましたが、また行ってみようかと思うヴィラです。

Love this hotel. Very quiet and soothing. Get a room with private pool (I think every room will have one). Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Their breakfast is very good. Free shuttle to Ubud centre. However, there is not many eateries around. It is literally in the middle of paddy fields. So if you want quiet stay in Ubud, this is highly recommended. Otherwise, if you want to enjoy nightlife or city life, might be a bit difficult.

Awesome stay wonderful staff,awesome chef,always there to help, manger was great as well .As Im a vegan the food the chef prepared was suited to my diet and always different every day and presentation was amazing so were the flavors .It actually felt like a family more than a motel .was able to unwind very easy views from room were nature at its best.will always comeback as apart of my holiday

Really amazing hotel, staff super friendly, our villa was lovely and we really enjoyed just hanging out in it. Breakfast was really good and you can have it at your villa or in the restaurant.They also made our honeymoon stay super special. There is a free shuttle to and from town as it is about 20 minutes out but surrounded by beautiful rice fields.

An amazing boutique cluster of villas 15 min out of Ubud. We recently stayed for few days with our three boys (13,11 + 8). A completely different pace to the throng of the Kuta/Seminyak region - and perfect for a luxurious and peaceful base to explore the area. Fantastic staff who went out of their way to make our visit memorable. The bike tour was an absolute highlight and strongly recommended. Great food options available at the onsite restaurant or delivered to your villa if you chose to stay in, making for very easy living. The villas are spacious and our boys loved their own private pool. It is a way out of Ubud (15 mins easy drive) but they have regular free shuttles there and back.
