So glad we did not cancel due to weather. The view, stay on boat, and most of all the communication between us and Frank Jr. Great host. We will definitely be back asap. They made us feel welcomed like family. Thank you so much Frank Jr, you are the best.
Thanks 😊 again and see you soon
Much love,
Juan & Jess

Friendly, easy access and close to desired destination

The host was very approachable. The price was very good for the Key West area which made it my choice. Having never spent any time in a sailboat, it took a bit of time getting used to the tight quarters. I was glad they have a full standard bathroom adjacent to the boat. I’d stay here again when in the area.

Frank was freindly, knowlable and super accmodating. The facility was clean and close to everything we needed and far enough away from the noise...the locals where freindly and quiet.
Just a great stay....WE WILL BE BACK!

So glad we stayed here! It is exactly what I was looking for. A unique way to visit Key West. It was nice to open the hatches and have a nice breeze and great view of the stars. He has a nice bathroom with shower in the car port. The host was great with communication and was really cool. Definitely recommend

Unique experience to stay on a catamaran and the host will even arrange for you to go out snorkeling, sandbar and fishing!

We stayed on the boat over Spring Break. There were 3 of us and we could have fit 1 more. Fitting six would be tight. The owners let us use kayaks and the shower/bathroom near the parking was excellent to clean off after a day at the beach. It’s 15 minutes to Smathers Beach and 20 minutes to Old Town.

Not fancy but did the job. Absolutely lovely hosts!!! And located in a very safe neighbourhood on a canal. Nice to have access to a nice big bathroom with shower although there is a small boat bathroom on board. Ours sons slept well. Boat is older so don't expect it to be fancy but we had comfy beds, a fridge, a microwave and K-Cup coffee machine. Loved using the kayaks/paddleboards too! Thank you!

We originally picked staying on the Catamaran due to it being about half of the cost of staying anywhere else in Key West. The location is 15-20 minutes from downtown Key West and was a convenient, reasonable and original way to spend 2 nights. Frank was prompt to contact us the day of our check in to let us know the boat would be available earlier than planned if convenient for us, which it was. It has AC, a medium size fridge and 3 beds which served our purpose for a family of 4. A shower & bathroom is available under the house and were very convenient, although a toilet was available on board should somebody not want to walk the 30 ft to the main bathroom at night. Remember you are on a boat, tied to a dock in a canal. Altough very protected from the elements (waters were mostly flat 99% of the time), we did have very windy conditions one night and the boat did rock back & forth a little bit. Keep that in mind if you are one to easily get sea sick. Everybody did fine in our group. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

For an atypical Florida stay, I recommend this option. For our family of 6, this was perfect. The kids loved the sleeping nooks and playing around the boat. Just a heads up that this boat is not docked in a marina, it’s in a neighborhood off the owner’s house. It’s only 3 houses inside an inlet thus a short paddle to the larger open water. Free usage of kayaks, paddle boards and life jackets meant we could explore, watch the sunset and cruise around without taking a big boat out. We also had access to a nicer bathroom/shower detached from the main house so we didn’t all have to wait for the bathroom on the catamaran. We were one key away from downtown Key West so easy to pop in and out to beaches, shops and restaurants. The main bed was so comfy, especially one night with a thunderstorm. It was a fun experience for the whole family.

It’s not very big but if you want something unique to experience this is it. Could use some upgrades if you wanted to watch tv. Even though it says it sleeps 6 it will be a tight squeeze. If they had an outdoor fire pit that would be nice. So it’s super crammed in there with 6 people. Frank and his dad were very nice told us to use anything we wanted so that was a plus. The shower under the house was nice and not a problem to use at all we preferred it actually . If you’re older getting on and off the boat maybe a problem for you so I wouldn’t recommend this place

Frank and family were great to work with. Made sure we had everything we could need. Very welcoming and kind. Beautiful slice of heaven. Kiddos loved new experience sleeping and fishing off the boat

We had a good time staying on Franks boat. We mostly just slept there and had no issues. Frank was a good host. The boats a/c worked well. Place could use a women’s touch. That would make it even better. Little things like a sheet and maybe a few more amenities like paper towel and such. For the price compared to renting an expensive place in Key West it was well worth it.

Thank you Frank for your hospitality!
Great relaxing place and easy going atmosphere.
We’ll be back soon!

It is as advertised. What isn’t is the friendliness of the owner and his father. Great experience staying on a catamaran.

We used this for several nights to visit Dry Tortugas and Key West, worked out well for us.

Staying on the boat was just like home on the lake. Great to be on the water. So much better than a typical resort/hotel.
4.7
The catamaran was clean and comfortable even during the rain. The additional bath was perfect making our stay comfortable. Slept very well and enjoyed the host’s communications. We used it as a base of operations for three activity filled days. Would book again!

The boat was extremely underwhelming. Very old and smaller than we expected. It was docked in the owner's back yard with a clear view of their messy car port. The stove didn't work, the shower was a wand that you use while sitting on the toilet, or you could use the bathroom in their carport. :(. But the biggest reason we didn't stay for our second night was we woke up the next morning with bed bug bites. Vrbo was zero help in getting us a refund. Don't book here.

Very friendly owners. Nice location. Away from the normal tourist lodging. Relaxing. Calm.
The bathroom in the boat leaks when rains and smells like urine. A plumbed bathroom with shower is provided up near home, which is nice and very clean. Would suggest a few things to make more accommodating/inviting for guests. Cleaning out dishes cabinets, reorganize with cleaner easier to access layout. And having full coffee station with supplies set up.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to those who want something different.

Frank was a Wonder host. We had a great time. There were 6 adults and 3 little dogs. We stayed for Fantasy Fest for 3 nights, so weren't in the property for long times, basically just to sleep. Having a bug bathroom outside was a big plus. The area outside the catamaran was big enough for all of us to sit and relax with nice breeze. Neighborhood was quiet and short ride to Key West. We would stay again. Thanks Frank!

The boat was spacious for my husband and I. We also booked a sailing charter on it one day which was awesome. It’s very easy to get on and off of this boat.

The boat was perfect. 3 girls. Slept good. Able to get ready for Fantasy Fest. Used the kayaks and paddle board. Quick short stay simple!! Thank you!
