Amazing staff
GREAT airconditioning! ( we went during the end of July and this place had the only consistent and well run AC in the city). Rooms are clean, modern, and spacious! Very comfortable place to stay.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay and the exceptional service provided by the staff at Martis. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel immediately at home. The kindness, welcoming demeanor, and genuine smiles from every member of the team truly set this hotel apart.
Throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were incredibly accommodating to our needs, always ready to assist with any request or question we had. Their friendly attitude made every interaction a pleasure, and it was clear that they were dedicated to making our stay as enjoyable as possible.
A standout moment was on the day of our early morning flight when the staff surprised us with thoughtfully prepared breakfast bags to go. This gesture not only demonstrated their attention to detail but also their genuine care for our well-being during our travels.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire hotel staff for their exceptional service and hospitality. They made our stay truly memorable, and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a superb experience. We will for sure be staying at this hotel any time we are in Rome! Thank you for going above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and valued.

Fabulous stay at this hotel. Location great for walking to all main attractions. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Room very comfortable. Breakfast superb.

Excellent location. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again if in Rome.

It is a gem of a hotel The staff is gracious and welcoming. A shout out here to Vittorio, the ultimate Roman gentleman who will greet you. Breakfast is a great start to the day. Rooftop bar is spectacular. It is tucked in quietly but right where you want to be in terms of sites to see. Well done. Bravo

Location Location was Excellent in the center of Rome. Walkable to all the sites.

Staff was exceptionally helpful and the breakfast was to die for.

We had a lovely stay at the Martis Palace Hotel. It was close to shopping and a variety of restaurants. A grocery store and pharmacy were within walking distance in case you want to purchase some water/snacks or if you forgot a needed toiletry. Many attractions were in close walking proximity and/or, the very attentive hotel staff, was more than willing to contact a taxi for your convenience. The hotel breakfast was superb and such a delicious and easy way to start the day. Our room had a bed and bath upstairs in the open loft-like area and the same was downstairs. Everything was very clean and maid service was available. It was a wonderful end to our Italian family vacay.

Nice hotel. Staff very friendly and location excellent. We received a room upgrade, which added a nice touch.
4.8
The hot water in the rooms was not hot enough for my wife. The room was tiny. As with most Italian hotels, they don't want you messing with the room thermostat much and put a lock on it that you have to call to get changed.
4.8
The hotel is at great location close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. Staff was super helpful and anticipated your needs. Room was clean and it had everything that you needed. They had great breakfast and the rooftop with breathtaking views.

If you arrive at the hotel and are told there is a problem with your room, and they invite you to stay at their luxury sister hotel, the Lunetta, say no. We were conned into forgoing our first night in Rome and shuffled a few blocked away to a very old hotel with a window facing an abandoned building and a dirty bathroom. While the staff at this hotel were wonderful, the accommodation was not what we expected for our first night in Italy. We were able to spend two nights at the Martis, but at checkout we were shamed for suggesting a discount for our inconvenience and downgraded accommodation and scolded for not refusing to agree to the switch. Gaslighting. After some uncomfortable exchange, they took $50 off our first night stay. All staff but this gentleman at the hotel were lovely.

What stands out is the excellent service we received throughout our stay. Every member of the team was responsive to our needs. We had a minor medical emergency and the hotel staff helped us at every stage - by providing appropriate transportation to augmenting our accommodations. The breakfast was high quality with a rotating ('Roman breakfast') providing a local touch. The location itself is extremely convenient - walking distance to great array of restaurants, markets and gelateria. This was our second time in Martis and it did not disappoint.

Excellent staff, great location, cleaning service and room are great, breakfast: super best, fresh and delicious products with chef specialities which are delicious! Breakfast staff friendly and profesional.
10 plus plus to this hotel and more plus and congratulations to the Front Desk staff: Martina, Carlo, Victorio and each of the team members! So profesional, knowledgeable and helpful.
If we return to Rome we will definitely stay in this hotel again!
It was a great choice.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff were friendly, the rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were very nice indeed. And the position in Rome is great for accessing most of the major attractions very easily.

We are in Rome alot
Would like to make this our go to hotel every visit.
Unfortunately the no dogs policy makes that our last visit

Just an absolutely wonderful stay so glad we chose to stay here. The front desk staff checked on our missing luggage from our flight every day. Hotel is in a great location too.

Proximal to all the sights and very well appointed. Highly recommend this place.

We loved everything about this hotel and highly recommend it! The staff were very attentive. We arrived early to check in, and they got the room ready for us within a half hour. In the meantime, they sat us in a lovely side lobby and gave us espresso and croissants. The terrace space is amazing! Our first night there, we ordered Aperol spritzes, which they delivered to us (all the way up there) with some little snacks. The morning breakfast has plenty to choose from and the staff were so welcoming!
4.8
Loved the location! Steps away from the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc. Twenty minute walk to the Vatican. Great rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hope to stay again soon!

We stayed in the Martis Palace (as well as its sister hotel Hotel Lunetta) during a 5-day stay in Rome before a cruise, as well as an additional night after the cruise. This was a phenomenal experience. The staff was amazingly helpful, friendly, and efficient, and they organized smooth transfers to and from the port and the airport.
Over the course of our stay we ended up staying in a few rooms due to our own scheduling problems, and the staff were amazing at helping us work through the logistics. The rooms vary in size with the smallest being quite small, but the larger rooms were really very comfortable and all of them were very clean, well-kept, and felt luxurious.
The morning breakfast buffets were truly amazing! We also enjoyed a late-night drink at the rooftop lounge, and it was like something out of a movie. Magical!
One final thing to note: the location of Martis Palace (as well as Lunetta) is perfect for visitors who want to explore Rome on foot. You are in the center of everything with so many restaurants, attractions, and beautiful scenes right outside your door.

Lovely boutique Hotel in the heart of Rome's Historic District. Well-equipped, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, and smart TVs. Good dining options onsite, including a quant roof-top patio. The staff at this hotel deserve special mention - friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. The team at this hotel were always ready to support with restaurant recommendations, car bookings, tickets to attractions, or just a warm smile after a long day. Highly recommend.

Overall, Martis Palace Hotel was a great place to stay for our 5 days in Rome. In terms of the location, you can’t beat it - easy walking access to all major historical sites and attractions, as it’s truly in the center of the city. Their customer service was excellent - was greeted with a smile and helpful attitude every single day, from check in to check out. Their rooftop bar is a best kept secret & an amazing place to watch the sunset over Rome. My only critique is that the walls are very thin - we could hear full conversations of the people staying in the next room over, which dampened our experience a bit. The room overall was very clean and well appointed. Like many hotels in Rome, it did have some visible signs of wear & tear on some of the walls (scuff marks, etc.) but did not impair the functionality of the room. In all, I would absolutely stay here again & am very appreciative of the hospitality we were shown during our stay.

Great location, beautifully restored building with excellent service and team. Highly recommended!!

Very pleasant and welcoming staff . The hotel is very clean and quiet and in a great location.
4.8
Excellent location. Excellent air conditioning. We would rate this a 5 star hotel. It's new. It's elegant. Service is wonderful. The rooftop for drinks or dinner is an added bonus. It's quite and only 1 block from the lively Piazza Navona and only a few blocks from the Pantheon and a 10 minute walk to Capitaline Hill (excellent in the evening all lit up) or Trevi fountain.

Everything about this hotel is excellent!!!!

This is a great hotel in Rome with amazing staff and great location. You can walk anywhere you want. Rooms are good size, breakfast was great.
4.8
Great location, very close to Piazza Navona, service excellent but not the first night, fabulous roof terrace, room much smaller and not as nice as advertised, A/C didn’t work on first night… in summary quite overpriced overall.
4.8
This was a great place to stay…. Until morning… the person above us we could hear their tv, alarm (that kept going off), and walking. It was rather annoying since it started so early in the morning. The staff is Uber friendly. If it wasn’t for the loudness of the room this would have been perfect

Great place. Highly recommend!

This property is nicely located about a mile or so from most attractions in Rome. It is in a great location for eating as there are loads of great restaurants in the area. The best part of this hotel had to be its staff. From the front desk staff that assisted us over the phone after our flight was delayed and we missed our transportation. They assisted in booking trips, getting taxi rides, and making sure we had breakfast to go on days we left early. Through to checkout they made us feel welcome. The restaurant/bar staff was very attentive and helpful offering some local advise of places to check out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying in rome.

Great location with amazing staff. Nearby to all the famous attractions and even a 2min walk from the infamous Piazza Navona. Worth a look!
