This was my family's second stay at Hotel Indigo, and while we sincerely enjoyed our first stay, we were even more impressed this one. As a family who enjoys traveling, I have noticed that we sometimes have been disappointed when returning to properties we previously enjoyed and find the entire experience just lackluster compared to our first visit. The exact opposite happened at Hotel Indigo Orange Beach. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The one bedroom suite with bunk beds that we rented was a phenomenal space. It was spacious and clean, and we had everything we needed, including extra pillows, without having to ask for it. The bathroom and shower was huge. The hotel's toiletry products were wonderful and in full-sized bottles with a tamper-resistant system. Loved that they had liquid, instead of bar, hand soap for the bathroom. The hotel has postcards for kids to send to family and friends, and they even stamp and mail them for the kids. Hotel is extremely dog friendly with a water bowl, treat station and tennis ball basket out for guests. While breakfast is not automatically included with the room, it was PHENOMENAL! Hunter's Bend bar area runs a condensed menu of the coffee shop next door, and the food was excellent and typical beach pricing. Hotel includes indoor and outdoor pools with great seating around both and towels provided. Our stay was quite simply perfect, and we hope to visit again soon. Located on the line of Orange Beach/Gulf Shores.

the overall stay was great the staff was very nice and it is a very nice hotel there were a few things that we weren't prepared for for 1 we were not allowed to walk across the road to the beach so dont be deceived like we were thinking that you can "walk to the beach" you have to drive to the nearest public beach which was very inconvenient and 2 we did not even have a microwave in our room and the smallest frig that i have over seen in my life even smaller than your typical hotel yes they have a restaurant in the hotel but its pretty expensive and we always like to bring stuff to snack on and maybe eat lunch in our room so we would have liked to have had a microwave i feel like they dont put them in the rooms so you will eat at the restaurant which i think was not fair

Here is my honest review. Julie at the front desk was awesome! Very helpful and took her time with me. The property may be across the street, but you can't get there by walking across the street as that is all private property. They do have a shuttle that is quick and runs back and forth between the beach and the hotel. Jack drives and was very friendly and helpful. While we were there the shuttle had a mechanical problem so it didn't work one day, that happens and not the fault of the hotel. The only borderline negative thing we had to say was about housekeeping. Housekeeping visited one of the two days we were there. They emptied the trash and changed towels, but left the bed and didn't clean the counters. Not a big deal, left us scratching our heads is all. Food was good. The pools are amazing....The pools are the highlight of the trip. While you are there walk west from the Hotel to the seafood restaurant. The staff there was wonderful; food was reasonably priced and portions were good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Be Informed!!! The one thing Expedia fails to tell you is that when you are told the property is 2.46 miles from the Wharf venue, what they really mean is that’s “as the crow flies.” It is actually 1o miles and takes 20 minutes. Just FYI…if we hadn’t been going specifically for that, it would’ve been great. The hotel and staff were fantastic!

There was no toaster or microwave. My service animal was denied and I was forced to pay a pet fee. A trained and registered service animal is not a pet. I was also told that my diagnoses was not considered a disability by a member of the staff. I was absolutely offended and insulted.

This was a very nice hotel. It looks brand new (it might actually be new). It's has nice, classy ocean-themed decor. It has an indoor and outdoor pool. We only swam in outdoor pool and it was really nice with plentiful seating. Management was very friendly. The beds were comfortable.

Probably the best hotel I’ve ever been to in this area. The staff was excellent and the building overall is great. I had two different meals here and the food was great too. This place is a home run. Our stay was wonderful. We booked this location at the last minute; because our trip to Florida was canceled due to the weather. We lucked up with this one. It is a hidden gem. It was very clean with access to grab a meal on-site. The pool area was relaxing.

We travelled to Alabama for the first time, and it didn’t fail us. The team of Hotel Indigo is top- notch! Shout out to Robert, Leslie, Cynthia, Isabelle and Liz! We originally were planning to stay across the street at the Hilton Garden Inn and suites- we realized very quickly that wasn’t going to happen because that hotel was disgusting. We quickly called Hotel Indigo, and EVEN with computer issues from the Microsoft disruption they got us into a beautiful, clean room with a very affordable price.
