DO NOT VISIST THIS PLACE. You will certainly spoil your holiday. Stay away from this place and its ZOMBI, rude, and ill-mannered owner (Mr. Mathew). Firstly, It's not a resort, it's a house with a couple of rooms which do not have any facility like of a resort. There is No restaurant, no swimming pool, no room service, no Porter, no front desk. etc. Secondly there's no sea view at all. Zero hospitality. The blankets they gave were disgustingly old and smelled so awful that it was impossible to sleep. The stench was unbearable! Bathroom is very dirty. Horrible room with absolutely no hygiene. The photos on the website are completely misleading compared to the actual condition of the property. What you see online is nothing like the real situation – it's a total scam!. Real and present condition of the property is way different that what is shown in the pics. Absolutely NO maintenance. Garden, verandah, the rooms, the parking area, entrance, walkway etc. all are in very poor condition and dirty. Price is really not worth. Worst experience I had in my entire Kerala trip. Overall its PATHETIC experience. These people have full potential to ruined your vocations. (Please refer the attached pics, sufficient to show the real condition of so called Resort (?)).

We are very happy with bay watch beach house. Very clean. Generally quiet. Steps are very friendly. My daughter love yard and front porch. First we booked 2 days we extend two more. Base price they charge wealth to stay. Excellent restaurant name Harbour is just less than two minutes walking distance

Good location, literally across the road from the main beach, however there is major road construction going on along a large portion of that road. The room was spacious, though basic, good AC and bottled water provided with a water filling station outside too. Cleansiness was okay and hotel water via the geyser was fine. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Complimentary breakfast was good, local Kerala breakfast, or omelette and toast, fruit and tea/coffee. Overall a satisfactory stay.

This resort is located in prime location whic h is nearby to park, beach, railway Station and many restaurants nearby. Also since few rooms only available in this resort you can enjoyyy solely with privacy and enjoy sitting in the corridor simply by watching beautiful rain.

This is an old property. Bathrooms need renovation. The room is good. Bedsheets are too tiny and don't even fit kids. Wish there is a restaurant attached to the resort. We were promised kerala breakfast, but were served idli and vada, which is our regular breakfast. The location is good... Right in front of the beach.

Mathew was so helpful, made sure we had a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this resort. Located in a prime location with beautiful sea view. Our kids enjoyed the most. Looking forward to go visit this place again

Baywatch Resort is a GREAT place to stay with family. Very good home like facilities. Breakfast was awesome. Mr. Mathew was of great help anytime we requested. Our local auto driver Saji (recommend by mr.Mathew) was truely amazing and helped us for everything including shipping. I wish we could have stayed there for some more time.

After a long flight and two layovers, we arrived in Baywatch around 10am. Mathew received us at the entrance and we were instantly checked into our room, no hassle no unnecessary questions. The room was very comfy, spacious and clean. It also smelled nice. The resort is 30 seconds from the beach and transportation to town is 5 to 10 minutes for 50 rupees. We woke up with delicious and healthy breakfast waiting for us. The cook/ housekeeper is an extremely lovely lady. Mathew helped us book the river cruise and tuk tuk and that couldn’t have made our stay more easier. We loved Alleppey and will choose to stay with Baywatch again.

The Baywatch is Resort Hotel definitely worth considering while chilling out in Alleppey Perfectly located by the beach within walking distance to some lovely restaurants and bars this is very convenient stay. Matthew and his team go to extraordinary lengths to make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are very clean and well appointed and the breakfast is personable. I would certainly consider a night or two here.

The property is right on the beach. Cant call it to be a hotel or resort, but like a homestay. It has just 5 rooms. We stayed for 1 night. The place is neat and clean. Only drawback was food. While there are are a few eating joints at walking distance. We had a problem during dinner as the Coffee shop next to the property closes at 8. We were travelling with a baby so could not explore much. For breakfast we opted for Continental. They served omelette, bread and tea. There was a lady who takes care of housekeeping, she as very helpful. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

D best part of the resort is that you can walk in to the beach in a matter of minutes. The place gives you a homely feeling n serves freshly cooked breakfast only. You can expect good Hospitality. Rooms are well kept & one can have a relaxing experience in the porch. Overall a great value for money.

Matthew is a great host. He answered all our questions and was very kind to us during our stay. His hotel is not big but it's cozy and is located near the beach and restaurants. There are about 3 restaurants within walking distance. There's also a bar as well...but it closes around 1030pm. The rooms were clean, he provided us towels, drinking water, and basic necessities. Air conditioning works fine in the room. He's got some hammocks setup as well so it's great to relax after breakfast. His breakfast is very nice, it's home cooked. You get lots of fruits, toast, and an omelet served with tea or coffee. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!

There is no reception in the hotel. When I was shown to the room, I noticed a problem with the door lock. After an hour and the problem was not fixed, I requested to talk to the responsible person (who happened to be the owner) on the phone. I wished I had not done that. Maybe he was in a bad mood that day (he behaved completely normal and friendly the next morning). After telling him that I did not want to spend my holiday waiting for the problem to be fixed, he asked me "what is YOUR problem?", etc. Some minutes later, he arrived at the hotel. I told him in front of others that he should treat his guests better instead of telling them "what is YOUR problem?". To my surprise, he said to me: "Do you understand English? 'What is your problem' simply means what is your problem.... Or shall I say 'What is your problem, SIR?' " After some further discussion, I did not want to continue. The next thing I did was to go online and cancel the booking for the following day.

Very well maintained premises, nice location (right in front of beach, easily accessible). Staff is very friendly and ready to cater to needs as per request. Well maintained clean rooms and functional features. Good for family or couples. Lot of good places to visit nearby, including lighthouse and Amaze Park. Construction work on Beach Road was in progress during December 2017 last week, but once completed the experience can be even better.

Mathew is an exceptional host and made sure our stay in the Bay Watch Beach Resort was as pleasant as possible. The place itself is very easy to locate, and is very well maintained. The rooms themselves are quaint, and provide adequate comfort for a short beach-stay. The beach is a small hop across the garden and a small dirt-road. It is a shame the Indian government decided to start building an elevated road-way outside of the property, but I hope this does not affect future stays too much. During our stay, there was an acceptable level of noise and no major disruption to walkways.
