Wonderful hosts, very welcoming breakfast was great. However too many issues with room, room should never been allowed to be booked, non working shower, unless you got host to come turn it on, then off after as it drips, host aware needs new unit, but delayed repair till end off season. Room smelt and felt damp, to the point unable to charge tablet for 3 days following return as moisture found in charging point, had to leave charging till warning disappeared. There were other issues some beyond hosts control which unfortunately led to a horrid weekend break. Shame i couldnt leave a bettter review, as hosts were really lovely.

I liked the location of the property. The proprietor s were a lovely couple very helpful and friendly. The property needs modernising. I personally would have preferred white towels and bed linen.

A bargain stay in Blackpool for a sporting fixture in the middle of Wintwr.
A warm room courtesy of an electric heater and extra bedding.
Very helpful and friendly owners. A good breakfast all you need.
A great position near a tram stop.
Blackpool Hotels mainly shut for the winter, in a competitive market like many places could do with some updating.
I would return.

Although the staff was very pleasant, the heating in the room wasn’t adequate. Fortunately we took our hot water bottles with us. The coffee in room wasn’t replaced first morning breakfast was good, second morning not enough on my plate. First morning was asked if we would like xtra toast but not the second morning. There was no heating at all in dining room that was turned on. Only there for 2 nights. But wouldn’t stay there again . It’s an over 50 s hotel. People over 50. Need to be warm.

It was good. The owners made an extra effort to make sure i was comfortable. Free parking was a plus.

.
For what we paid a nice stay, the hotel is for over 50’s so quiet, in a quiet street along with other B&B’s. there was on street parking available virtually outside of the property, not sure in the summer months this would be as easily found.
The room was large, comfy bed with tea/coffee making facilities. This B&B is in the budget range of stays so don’t expect antique furniture and you will be ok. Breakfast was adequate and cooked to order so hot when it arrived and enough for most appetites, certainly seen us through to lunch…… I only came upon one thing which I struggled with and it was the cold, the B&B is very cold. The rooms have a small heater which you press to heat the room, the only problem being is you have to press this every two hours to keep it on so that it keeps the room at a comfortable temp, the radiator in the room was off and only switched on in the morning but there was a extra duvet in the wardrobe which solved the button pressing every two hours to keep warm. It didn’t stop my husband sleeping as he could sleep anywhere but I’m a very nesh person so the cold did come between me and a good nights sleep.
But as I said we didn’t pay for 5* luxury and for what we did pay it was a nice stay to see the illuminations.
The owner was a nice guy and was friendly and professional and you got the impression he would bend over backwards to make your stay better if he could.

very nice stay free parking ,good size room and clean .good breakfast but had a little wait due to staff shortage but the owner made up for it with his charm and enthusiasm, due to not long taking over the place.Great value for money

Chosen mainly 4 parking,h/k and location -2/3 proved unavailable!! On arrival-only street parking offered -which was always difficult. Hosts were amiable and helpful -informed of no housekeeping - Covid!!! Breakfast 8-30 to 9 -vegetarian only by omission of meat.Room and en-suite were small -as stated - and clean. Furniture, decor and fittings utilitarian, functional yet tired. The beds were comfy but squeaky. Unfortuneately cooking smells permiated insidiously and were slow to disperse. Noise from general movement was readily transmitted and at times was intrusive. Breakfast was owner served to an allocated table - for duration - and was quite rigid - no self serve, no juices, no vegetarian options -not even variations on eggs - only 1 of 3 cereals, English traditional and toast - no alternative choices such as pastries were offered. However it was cooked well. We coped well even though the weather restricted our pedestrian activities and the parking senario detered us from using the car. All in all we felt it was time Brooklands had a 'Booster' jab!!!!!

Too many steps and very deep ones just to get into the hotel. Once there is a stair lift. The floors are all creaky so at night you hear people moving about in their rooms.
No parking except on the road outside if you can find a spot. Weekends almost impossible and had to park 2 streets away until I managed to grab a spot outside the hotel.
Food and staff were excellent as a disabled over 65 yr old I found the stay extremely challenging.

Our 4 nighit stay here was fantastic.
We were greeted with a cup of tea by Ray & Jenny who made us feel very welcome.
The room was clean and had a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was great too.
We arrived as gusts and left feeling like friends.
We will be back again.
Thank you Ray and Jenny
