We only had 1 night in Athens, so we chose the Acropolis loft suite. It was absolutely dreamy! The view of the Acropolis from the bed and the terrace was breathtaking! The staff were so kind and helpful and the room was IMMACULATELY clean. Perfect location as well!

Too noisy and not kids friendly. I booked a room that was supposed to have a sofa bed large enough for my kids. The bed in the room was too small and the hotel made me book a second room for us to be able to stay in that room. They stated it was the hotel policy and we needed to pay. Once we paid, they couldn't care about us all being in one room. They could have accommodated us with a larger room for a few euros more, instead they made us get a second full at full price even though we didn't plan on using it.

A chic boutique hotel in the heart of Psiri with abundant dining and shopping outside the door. The loft room was well appointed, with an incredible view of the Acropolis from the private deck (although there should be an umbrella provided for shade). I personally liked the staff - they were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is ok, not great, with so-so pastries and the expected yogurt and cold cut buffet fixings. However, I had one major issue that I wish had been resolved better: the A/C in my room made a loud, constant whistling/shrieking sound that kept me awake all night, every night, for five nights and made it unpleasant to be in my room. I complained about it right away and was told that it was normal. I escalated my complaint after the first night because it was so bad, and was again told it was fine. On day 3, I asked the desk clerk to come up to witness it - he agreed it was “really annoying,” but nothing was done. To be very clear, this noise was not normal. It was plain evidence of a malfunctioning A/C unit that needed service, but I was gaslighted over and over about what air conditioning in a luxury hotel should sound like (which is, you know, quiet). All the pretty tilework and amenities like cucumber water in the lobby are nice, but HVAC and facilities maintenance is actually more important, and I don’t think the hotel’s staff or management understands that. The hotel has great style, but it’s missing the mark on some crucial matters of substance.

What an amazing place to stay in the heart of Athens. On arrival we were greeted with coffee, iced waters and cookies and on departure we had take away breakfast made up ready to go for our early departure. The hotel is in a great location, with lots of restaurants and is an easy walk to the shopping district and acropolis.

Very happy we chose this hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They kept our large suitcases for 4 days when we had to fly to santorini. Even though we only stayed with them for 2 nights. They also packed breakfast to go for us since our flight was early morning. Very kind of them to do. The hotel is just beside restaurants and walking distance to the train station and the acropolis.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay at 18 Micon Strreet in Mid-Jun. Staff was very helpful in arranging an early morning taxi to aairport, and location is a 3 minute walk to Monostraki Square. Lots of restaurants and food options nearby. Outside temperature was high, but A/C in room worked well and kept us cool with minimal noise. Would stay here again.

We recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel (family of 4), absolutely loved it, beyond our expectations! The property itself, main area and room very clean, beautifully decorated and smells fresh! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, not the typical heavy buffet breakfast you generally find - good variety, healthy options, fresh. And they leave snacks and water available at all times. But above all, the service was 5star- all the staff was always pleasant to talk to, greeted us warmly, and always helpful. Location great in Psyrri, walking distance from all districts in Athens. A little noisy at night from the restaurants around, but nothing that prevented us from a good sleep :) Great stay, would definitely stay there again if in Athens, definitely recommend!

We had a nice stay at 18 Micon Street hotel. The hotel was clean and decorated uniquely. They had a decent selection for breakfast. To me the best part of this hotel was the location. So close to so many dining options and lots of shopping. We were also within walking distance to many of Athens top sites.

The boutique hotel is well furbished with a trendy style. We got in early and was only hoping to leave our luggage there, however they asked us to try the breakfast while they get the room ready. The breakfast was really good, healthy and delicious. And we got our room pretty soon as promised. The rest of the stay was all good. The room is big, clean and beautifully decorated.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. They accommodated us by arranging, upon request, our transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. The location is great. Many restaurants to choose from and easy access to the hop on and off buses. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended 18 Micon.

This is going to be an interesting review. 18 Micon was set to be the last stop on my wife and I's Greek holiday. It was kind of meant as a surprise, because their high end room has a private patio with an immaculate view of the acropolis. But our trip ended up derailing half way through. Upon arriving in Santorini (our 4 day stop just before returning to Athens) I developed a strange ear problem. Over the course of the time in Santorini it got worse and worse. It had gotten to the point of being hospitalized, and my options for resolving it becoming limited. Unfortunately I knew we werent going to make it back to Athens as scheduled. And unfortunately our booking was non refundable. There was just nothing that could be done. But the day after I was too arrive, I basically am told that I have to ferry back to athens right now for emergency surgery. At this point my world is flipped around. But I called 18 micon. By all rights, with me having abandoned the booking, they could have re-rented the room. But they hadnt. I was able to get my wife set up to finish out the stay. And thats when their service really kicked in. They went above and beyond to help with taxi's, and laundry service (since we hadnt gotten to do laundry because of all this). They really shined. I got to see the room just before leaving for the hospital. It was beautiful. It was a great pick, and I would pick it again for sure.

I love this hotel! It is in a lively, interesting neighborhood, is stylish, comfortable, and sparkling clean. The staff are over the top nice and helpful and they serve a beautiful breakfast duress in their super cool lobby/breakfast area in the mornings. I’ve been back several times and will do so again!

This was the perfect spot. The restaurants on the block were amazing. The staff was the best we have encountered - friendly, funny and personable. They recommended the perfect places to eat. We would for sure stay there again.
