The hotel is quite basic but makes up for that with its great location. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

Very good traditional Spanish Hotel in the centre of the resort. Had a great time. Breakfast delicious.
Only downside no lift, we were on the third floor!
Not suitable for those with walking problems.
Will definitely be going again next year.

The hotel has the best possible location. The staff in the hotel are nice but the rooms are dated. Make sure you get a room with sea view.
The restaurant has good food but the staff are terrible. Unfriendly, bad attitude and lack of customer appreciation.

This hotel has all the potential to be amazing, but it needs some serious money thrown at it to bring it up to modern standards.
We had a sea view room (room 201) overlooking the port and the view was the only positive aspect of the room. The room and hotel itself was like staying at your Grandmother's house. The decor, furniture and general smell was horrendous. Uncomfortable bed, very tired and dated wallpaper, bathroom suite, and bed linen.
The hotel is situated next door to Tim's bar which is the liveliest bar around. It closes at 1am every night, but allows the punters to stay seated until 3/3:30am. As the hotel is so old, it doesn't have double glazing or any sound proofing, and so for two nights in a row we had zero sleep due to the intense noise coming from Tim's. The hotel provides ear plugs but it is far from sufficient.
The staff also don't seem to know what they're doing. We were given mixed information on availability of wifi on the hotel verranda and across the road at their sea side seating. The check in ladies were slightly strange as one wanted to keep hold of our passports for 24 hours with no explanation, and the other was rude and abrupt.
The in-room facilities were poor. One complementary bottle of water, 1 set of ear plugs, no fridge, and air con that wouldn't allow you to set the temperature than 24c.
We checked out early, forfeiting any refund purely because we couldn't stand the lack of sleep. Don't make the same mistake, book elsewhere!

The view and convenience to the port was amazing.

Nice location with parking.

Firstly the location was great, fantastic views from the room balcony.
Plenty of options for dining within easy walking.
The late night music from next door went on too long.
No bar facility in hotel available.
Hotel needs refurbishment but aware this is due next year.

A basic but very comfortable hotel in a great location. A little noisy at times.
2.5
Great value and location, a clean and nice hotel - close to restaurants and the sea.

Authentically spanish with happy and helpful staff who made our stay, whether it was the loan of a hairdryer or a croissant at breakfast the service was 5 star. Rooms whilst basic were comfortable, had aircon and were spotless. The View of the Port was glorious from our balcony at the front of the building and breakfast veranda.
Food in the pontoon was first class and thoroughly recommend

Lovely hotel full of charm

Room very basic - no frills, breakfast mediocre, outdoor dining space could be improved, whole place desperately needs updating - expected more
5.0
Fantastic location right on the sea front. Most rooms have balconies and its worth getting a sea front view. The rear faces onto the car park and neighbouring buildings, so probably noisy. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Placed really central, with restaurants all around - a bit busy - but I likes it alot.

The Brismar is in the hub of Port Andraxt with its bustling bars & restaurants, it’s a classic style Spanish hotel the breakfast on the front balcony with amazing views has a variety of fruits cheeses meats & breads
The bedroom are basic & very clean but the position & views make the holiday
Can’t wait to return

Fantastic staff, very clean hotel, right on the harbour, a wee bit dated but well worth the money

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Brismar. The balcony in our room was absolutely the highlight which such an amazing view. Can also highly recommend to eat at their restaurant - although the service was a bit slow - the food was well worth the wait and to sit on their patio in the sea was just a delight. The room is nothing special and they do need to sort out their bathroom locks but again balcony made up for everything. Breakfast was also really nice and was served at their terrace. Parking is just behind the hotel and was free and very easy.

Hotel’s location is fabulous, views over the Port are stunning. No complaints about the room or cleanliness it’s such a shame that our weekend was spoilt by sleepless nights from the bar next door open until 3am! Such a shame and out of the control of the hotel.

Position good but v noises at nigh due to Tim’s Bar

Great location, everything on your doorstep, lovely terrace for lunch/dinner or drinks on the waterfront. Friendly helpful staff & a good choice for breakfast.
Recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Great location but bathrooms very small. Could do with modernisation.
1.5
Really liked the location right on the seafront and close to restaurants, and the staff were helpful and friendly,
We feel the rooms could do with some pictures, a mini fridge and a hairdryer, and the bathrooms are extremely small!

Fabulous location, bang in the heart of the action that is Port Andraxt.
Sea view balconies have one of the best views in the South West of Mallorca overlooking the harbour and the mountains across the bay.
Air con. in the rooms is top notch, better than most 4 star hotels on the island.
Rooms would benefit from having a fridge.
The hotel is slightly old fashioned but it does have character.
The rooms are nicely decorated and are clean and fresh.
Beds are comfortable and are also clean and fresh.
No pool or fancy facilities but you are at the waters edge with a small beach which is fine for children to play and paddle in.
Do be aware however that due to the location of the hotel it can be very busy out on the front, so if you like to retire early in the evening you will need to keep your patio doors closed to block out the noise. It is not Magaluf rowdy but with Tim's Bar next door there can be folks still drinking, talking and laughing till around 2 am.

Excellent location - sea view wonderful for sunsets. Plenty of places to eat around and about. Wifi is good but a little odd, with a lot of normal sites barred

location, location, location!. This small and traditional hotel overlooks the harbour and is right in the centre of town. Ideal for a weekend away. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

Basic, unpretentious hotel, lovely staff, great location

Home away from home. I will definitely be going back and recommending this place to friends and family. The hotel staff are extremely kind and accommodating. The rooms are very clean (only downside is there are no fridges, which means you can’t keep extra groceries or water cold). The location of the hotel is in the best part of the port. There are amazing restaurants and an unreal gelato place at the doorstep. Not to mention, the view is incredible and one I will miss very much. They also serve a yummy breakfast in the morning from 8-10. A++++

Hotel in a perfect location, it boasts the best position in the resort. so relaxing and peacefull. Great view across the bay and a wonderful evening sunset

The Brismar is a very specific place - that just may not be for everyone - but it is for us. If you are the type who demand luxury accommodations and concierge services, then this is not the place for you. It is a hotel that provides an unbeatable location in Puerto de Andratx - with views that amaze. The hotel is an inviting place (not so much the restaurant staff - but they are separate and there are plenty other places to dine). The rooms are simple, roomy and sea view balcony is a must. The hotel is clean and comfortable (except for the rock-hard pillows!). The included breakfast is solid with good options. I need nothing more than this kind of hotel, when I can wake up to such an incredible view, at decent prices and with accommodating staff. Whenever we want to stay in in this town - it is where we return to and expect to continue to do so.
