You can't beat the oceanfront. Beyond that this home had a well coordinated décor including furniture and artwork that really worked well together. We genuinely enjoyed our stay..

The property manager was very responsive. The location of this property was not ideal for our family.

First off the property is great. You have a literal front-row seat for watching the ocean. There are multiple cafes within an extremely easy walk. And this is a large space with nicely furnished rooms and a kitchen with everything you'd need to cook any sort of meal including spices.
The reason for the low rating come down to three categories. Potential issues everyone will have here, the nature of how its being rented, and specific issues that are unlikely you'll run into.
The thing anyone will potentially run into is the next door neighbor. They are clearly unhappy that this property is being used as a short term rental, and that will be apparent from the list of terms you need to agree with, and the dozen signs they have plastered all over their house telling you to be quiet, not treapass, and not smoke. We had no issues with them, but if you get a noise complaint they should be your prime suspect. Ironically their barking dogs were far louder than the ocean or construction noise.
The second item is how this being rented. It goes You <-> VRBO <-> Marbella Lane <-> Owners. So if you have any issues you are going to be wading through an entire chain of companies and people before you get a response. We ended up having to work with Marbella directly to actually get our check-in issues resolved and that still took 90+ minutes.
Which leads to our specific issues that yiu are (probably) unlikely to face. First we objected to having to send a picture of ¹

The space is beautiful and maximized. And would be good for a group that is on the same schedule. The kitchen & bathrooms are well stocked. The bedding is comfy. It is clean. And while the house is updated/remodeled, it sadly falls short. The flooring creaks SO bad. Even the lightest walking upstairs is heard on the bottom floor. Many items in and on the house are rusted. There are black spores or something in the windows, tracks and on the screens. The backyard is overgrown and a nice view of the “welcoming” neighbors. On either side of the driveway are signs that read “Pacifica homes are NOT hotels! Neighborhoods are for neighbors, not for short term rentals.” The woman next door was sure to tell me to reread my contract, and NOT to use the front door, because her dogs will bark. You must enter thru the garage each time. We had an ant issue in the kitchen as another review had mentioned. There is NOT a hot tub. And it is 3 bedroom, not 4. The main issue is the property management. Their communication emails in the middle of the night, with personal info requests, were asinine! We spent 25+ minutes on the phone, in the driveway, trying to gain access when they emailed saying access information had been sent. Then to find they wanted a picture of my ID and C/C info emailed to them. But had no office nearby for me to walk in and show them. Knowing I’m reserved in this house for a week and you want me to send you my home address info. No thank you, will not do business again!

This home is located near a pier in which you can fish and just wait to see ocean life. Unfortunately, it is pretty cold so it is hard to enjoy the beach arear but you can enjoy a walk as the waves hit the shores...it is very peaceful.
We saw many pelicans and sea gulls capturing amazing photos and sea lions and dolphins. The sound of the waves at night also felt so peaceful. The fog was beautiful too, as the day went it would clear up to show off the beautiful endless view of the ocean.

I chose this house for the location and reviews. I was not disappointed. Marbella Management made the check in and check out process extremely easy and stress less. Communication was outstanding. We had NO issue with anything, and if we did, I am 100% confident, it would have been handled immediately. The home was well stocked and very clean. We only slept in the beds upstairs and were pleasantly surprised on how comfortable the beds were. We had excellent Internet service, no issues, what-so-ever. I would most definitely would request to stay here again. We were very comfy and just so satisfied with the ocean views.

Overall, our stay was positive as the location and view from the property was top notch. The rooms were fair sized and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well prior to our arrival.
We did have an ant issue throughout our stay. We saw ants in different parts inside the property which we felt should have been addressed prior to our arrival. When we alerted the management of the issue, they simply said look for bug spray in the kitchen and send us pictures so they can try to treat the situation for future renters.
The bug spray did not exist and my pictures really didn't help us at the time. I mentioned we were not satisfied by their response and they simply said that we can be assured that this won't happen in the future.
Again, our stay was fine but be aware of ants and alert management to address it right away. Hopefully it will be a different experience for future renters.

You could not beat the view! It was absolutely beautiful. The house was easy to find and in a great location for a girls weekend.
Everything was well appointed but I would suggest the owners include a helpful hints type of document about the property for guests. I’ve found this to be helpful at other rentals.
For example:
1. There was only one TV- none in the bedrooms;
2. 2 remote controls but trying to figure them out was a chore- we gave up on trying to catch football games
3. No cable or satellite service. We ended up downloading Hulu and eventually left the house to go find a sports bar
4. Internet service was spotty
5. The windows could use a professional cleaning
6. Strange neighbor posted herself at a window and stared at us while we ate. We waived but she didn’t get the hint. So we closed the blinds.
7. There’s a fireplace but it’s not included as an amenity.
There are other minor glitches, but we’d accomplished what we’d set out to do - have a joyful girls weekend.
Good kuck to the next guests!!

Great location across from beach with ocean surf. House smelled like roach spray and dogs. After airing it out it got better. Kitchen pendant lights were filthy, I cleaned them myself. Could be better with proper cleaning. Balcony needs cleaning/repainting. Nice kitchen remodeled recently.

The his house is a great location to relax and reconnect with family. Convenient market, restaurants and coffee shops. We loved the walk along the beach. Sunsets are awesome!

We had family visiting from Hungary and rented this beautiful home for the visit. Everyone thought the house was fantastic! You absolutely cannot beat the view! The bathroom to bedroom ratio was perfect. I will definitely come again for future family gatherings or Girl Trips!
