This fantastic Gulf Beaches home features amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico from multiple decks, a private swimming pool, lots of space for your group to spread out and enjoy their vacation, and convenient access to the white sandy beach across the street! Great neighborhood location close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, bicycle path, and St. George Lighthouse Museum.
The exterior of this property offers under-house concrete parking, covered entry, a private swimming pool (heated for a fee), an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, a fish-cleaning area, a park-style grill, and convenient beach access across the street. Enclosed foyer stairs and elevator are available for guest use to provide access to the floors above.
The second floor is a great gathering place for your crew with an open floor plan and an easy flow between living, dining, and kitchen areas. The living area offers stunning Gulf views, lots of comfortable seating, a TV, an electric fireplace, and direct deck access. Outside, the covered decks are furnished and offer lots of options for enjoying coastal views, relaxation time, and alfresco dining! Back inside, the spacious kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare coastal feasts and there is plenty of seating at mealtime at the dining table and bar counter stools. Additional amenities include beach gear credit - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs, and more!
THINGS TO KNOW
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We loved the spacious home and proximity to the beach

The kitchen pantry has an inside lock that one of the 3 year olds went in a locked himself
In. We did not have a key and he finally came out.

This was our third year in a row to stay in this house. It’s a great location. And there are many good things about this house. But to be honest it is in need of some TLC. Several of the bathroom fixtures need some repairs, as well as the kitchen sink faucet. Some lamps are unstable or don’t work, some lights out, broken garden hose, broken pool tile. These were the same issues as the previous years. As I said before, good house just needs some attention.

I liked the layout of the house and the proximity to the beach. Refrigerator and freezer didn’t work properly. Stuck in elevator twice. Roaches throughout house. Water was shut off upon our arrival. Has the potential to be a nice rental with proper maintenance and cleaning

I rated our stay a 4 because of 2 problems that occurred but they were no fault of Vacasa. The first was an elevator stuck between floors and the second was a leaking water line to a hot water line. Kudos to the technicians that handled the problems and the young ladies in the office that alerted the technicians of the problems. They were all pleasant people to deal with and very responsive. We hope we can get back next year.

Our group was in town for a wedding and stayed at Beach Dreamin’. We had a great time and the house was great! The porches are great for a morning coffee and looking out over the beach and the location is great for exploring St. George. The rental credit was great. We utilized bikes to ride around the island!

We have stayed at this house many times (even back when it was called Shimmering Sands). The new owner has updated it a few years back and it`s still a nice house. The landscaping is not taken care if very well and the house sorely needs a pressure washing or possibly painting, otherwise all good.- Joe A from Johns Creek, Posted: 05/25/2022

The house was great for my husband, me, daughter, and grandkids. There was plenty of room and even though it is across the street, the views were still great! The kids loved the pool and the only complaint would be that the kitchen needs to be better stocked.

Beach Dreaming was a great property to vacation in! Airy and open with a short walk to the beach and a beautiful pool steps from the front door! Our family had a wonderful week at this beautiful home!
