The pictures do not do this place justice. I doubt any pictures ever could. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You really feel like you're stepping into a new, private world, like something out of your favorite novel. We will be coming back.

First, Kate was a gracious and accommodating host throughout the entire booking and stay. The home itself is really wonderful; we had 3 families with 6 adults and 5 kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the unique layout, as well as the loft beds in two of the rooms. Location was perfect, only about a 3 minute drive into town. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for multiple large dinners. Would highly recommend staying here!

A beautiful property and secluded getaway. Check in / out was smooth, cabin was exceptionally clean. It's an exciting, twisty drive to get up to the cabin, I don't know if I could do it in alone , but well worth it if you're looking to relax. We will definitely recommend to friends. Just beautiful overall. All the rooms have a theme, huge kitchen, fit pits, hot tub, swing, and my favorite is the Yoga Studio with 2 Poles.

My partner and I had a beautiful stay at Kate's magical faerie cabin. You can feel the love poured into the space and also the love that has been left from all the different gatherings that have been had. The entire house is so communal and welcoming with little details throughout that make the space come alive. Although it was raining during out stay, the outdoor area was the magnet of the house. We kept finding ourselves using the outdoor shower and gravitating towards the hot tub and treehouse area of the backyard. Highly recommend this house as a getaway haven.

I've been on trips around the world... from New York to Oslo to Spain... London, Belgium, Paris... and so many locations in between. The Faerie House was the most unique, memorable, and special location l've ever been a guest at. You won't find posh furniture or 800 thread count sheets but you will find a magical forest retreat that will cradle you upon arrival. Discoveries are around every corner and you will feel the energy of each room. I chose to generate my own energy and be the force of influence upon the space yet it is easy to see how some could feel pulled into the magic. Some highlights I'll never forget included the outdoor shower and fire pit, the secret passageway connecting the home to the lower outdoor level, the treehouse deck, and resting in the spa while looking up at the towering trees. Can’t recommend this location enough. Enjoy the magic and create some lasting positive energy of your own.

This is hands down one of the most amazing homes we've ever stayed at! So many thoughtful touches throughout the entire space and tons of fun things to explore. Kate is an incredible host as well and made every effort to ensure we were taken care of during out stay. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone thinking about staying here and will definitely be back soon!

Incredible house and property. Very eclectic and cozy space. So much love and attention was given in the curation of the space. Super easy trip from LA. Kate set up private axe throwing for our group. Be sure to ask her what other experience might be available that aren’t listed!

Kate is a wonderful, communicative host who genuinely cares about your experience. She communicates very clearly and leaves very detailed and accurate directions on how to use every amenity in the Faerie House so your stay can reach its full potential. This magical cabin offered me and my girlfriends an escape from LA life to enjoy endless moments of relaxation and peacefulness. We most enjoyed spending time outside on the wrap-around deck and in the hot tub and sauna which offered complete relaxation.

The Faerie House absolutely lives up to its name in every way and more! Being there feels like escaping into a mystical faerie tale! Kate is just the coolest, supportive, and super chill hostess, and she clearly loves sharing her special space with new people. We felt so at home and welcomed, And we are hoping to come back for a women’s retreat there soon! This is a MUST SEE cabin and photographers dream!

I cannot begin to explain how magical this home is! The entire home feels like it was transported here from another dimension. The property owner is the sweetest woman, and genuinely cares about the quality of your stay. There are mysteries everywhere within and surrounding the home! Pros - full home sound system - jacuzzi - fireplace - sauna room - outdoor projector - beautiful full kitchen - outdoor showers (wow) - fast internet - quiet neighbors and spacious - feels like a getaway out of the country - cute quant stores nearby - the rooms are well insulated from sound in other rooms. - 2 gorgeous bathtubs and 2 showers - media room with projector & top bed with a spiraling staircase - a library with a bed on top. For all the bookies that love to read. - the list goes on CONS: - the only cons are simply the fact that more places like this don’t exist. IF YOU VISIT IDYL-WILD, THIS IS A MUST GO-To HOME AND EXPERIENCE. 10/10

Winter wonderland, Super cool space and hostess! The Faerie House Art cabin is 100 percent it’s own adventure. We were continuously discovering unique and thoughtful details that can only be experienced in person. I only wish we could have stayed longer ! The bathtub views and full immersive snowy forest experience with all the windows and gorgeous stained glass are incredible. Loved the movie room, although the library may be my favorite, with a collection of books that seemed divinely curated. Each artistic element feels perfectly designed and our hostess, Kate, seems to truly care about her guests’ experience. We are already planning the next trip back!

Wow! I cannot say enough about this witchy art cabin in the woods! Clearly cultivated with an artist's heart and a magician's hand, it is both a sacred space for rest and healing, while also being totally dialed for a fun gathering amongst friends and family. You absolutely have to experience this novelty house in person, as the photos can't possibly tell the whole story. The Faerie House feels like a home away from home, rather than a vacation rental. It's also obvious that our host, Kate, genuinely loves sharing the art and soul of this special retreat, and she was truly supportive of us having a magical stay.

What an absolutely stunning property. Book this rare gem while you can! SO many luxuries that are unique to find in the mountains. Such a magical place— all of the outdoor spaces, the hot tub, the lights, so many thoughtful touches. The location is excellent, it’s close to town but also tucked quietly into the mountains. The vibe is fairy tale / Harry Potter / Witchy art house with surprises around every corner. Can’t wait to come back here with a big group of girlfriends. Perfect for feeling inspired and creative. Lots of space for connection and quiet contemplation. But it was a perfect spot for a romantic couples weekend to relax and renew. Kate was super sweet and went out of her way to make sure our stay was special. This is not your average luxury vacation rental. The energy of the home was so sweet. It feels like a sacred space for joy and healing and can tell how special the space is to the host and to guests who visit. Kind of like visiting the house of the witchy faerie godmother we all wish we had!! Nothing like it. Truly unique. Recommend with my whole heart!
