Great location to explore the area. Everything was very new and clean. It was nice they left some biscuits, coffee and tea for when we arrived. There was even a kitchen paper towel roll and a couple of toilet rolls to get us started.
Parking was quite a struggle to get in and out of as not much room to maneuver, but it was nice to park off the road.
My husband has arthritic knees and it was very hard to climb over the edge of the bath to take a shower as it was VERY high. A grab rail or something to hold onto would have been most helpful. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Overall, a nice experience. Some suggestions you may wish to consider are: trash bin in bathroom and bedrooms.
Net curtains or blinds on the main bedroom as it faces the street and people walk by all the time.
Blackout curtains on the main bedroom as we were woken up early every day when the sun came up.
Need a chest of drawers in the main bedroom as not enough storage for a 10 day visit.
More hangers in both bedrooms as there was not enough to hang up clothes for two of us.
A side light by the bed in the main bedroom would have been helpful, especially as three of the bulbs were out in the main light fixture.
A printed manual on how to operate the heating, washing machine etc would have been helpful. We never figured out how to make the heated towel rail turn on! We are from the USA and many things were not familiar to us.
If not for the problem getting in/out of the bathtub to take a shower, we would rent here again for sure.
