This was a clean and well kept little house! Rooms were large, beds are both king size plus pullout double/queen. Basic amenities are all well stocked. Yard is just right for a dog! I have a big furry dog, and he felt right at home! Our only minor complaints related to the air freshener plug-ins (they were really really strong and unnecessary, so we unplugged them all right away), and the quality of the providers shampoo/conditioner. These were minor and didn’t really affect the stay, we’d come again without question!

The house was clean and very cozy. It is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood and less than 15 minutes to everything we wanted to do in St. Louis. The fenced in back yard was pefect for traveling with animals. We would absolutely stay here again. It felt like a home away from home.

Absolutely 5 stars! We loved our stay. We used to live in the area (20+ years ago) in a similar house, so it was a fun blast from the past to be in the old 'hood & in "our" old house again. The home is just as pictured and extremely clean and comfortable. Super charming! The area is perfect for visiting STL- it's very convenient and an easy drive to hwys, Forest Park, Midtown, Central West End, Hill, Ted Drewes...you name it. Also numerous parks nearby. We always feel very safe in the area and love the community of the SW City area. Whenever we travel back to STL we will try to stay here again!
And- another positive note: We had to make the decision to leave early due to impending ice storm that would effect our travel. Communication with host was excellent throughout the process and much appreciated as we were navigating a rather quick departure.
Would give more stars if I could. You'll love it if you stay here!

This home is exactly as described. Check-in was very easy, parking was too. The house was spotless, with every detail thought of ahead of time. The beds are super comfortable and the bedding, first rate. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, perfect if you travel with four-legged companions, and the house is just a couple of short blocks to a super grocery store and a target. We chose this location so that we’d be able to visit with family living in St. Louis, and a good choice it was!

The area and neighborhood is very nice. All kinds of options for food are near by. Parking is on the street but i parked right in front of the house all week. I felt very safe and never worried about personal safety. The house, and all the neighborhood houses, are adorable. Inside the house was very clean and had everything we needed. The TVs are all smart TVs and we were able to sign into our streaming services when we wanted to watch tv. It was easy to get downtown to do touristy stuff and the zoo is really close. I will want to stay here again when we come back.

We enjoyed our stay here. We frequently visit family in St. Louis. This place has comfortable beds, laundry, and the kitchen essentials to make our stay easy. It’s convenient to Target and grocery shopping. It’s not too far from Ted Drewes and other key favorite locations. We enjoyed walking in the local park too. We’ll be back again.

This was a great, somewhat eclectic, warm and cozy old home. It looked better in person than the pictures.
We tend to cook at least some meals so we pay attention to kitchens. The dinnerware and utensils, pots and pans were well stocked. There were not any spices other than salt and pepper so be sure to bring/pickup what you need. It was what I call a "clean fridge" meaning all food was cleaned out so there are no condiments. There is a lot of shopping in the area so meal prep was easy and convenient. There was a good coffee supply.
The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. The closests were a decent size for an old house. The bathroom was partially updated so it had some modern amenities but still had the old house charm that I enjoy. There were extra towels which I always appreciate.
The living area was well furnished and we enjoyed playing a very lopsided round of monopoly. We were visiting over Christmas so the owner offered to bring a small Christmas tree (if celebrated) which was much appreciated and enjoyed.
Parking was always pretty easy. We were always close to the house, no further than one door down. The neighborhood felt very safe and, had it not been for the snow, would have been great for walking.
We had an issue with the front door knob handle and it was fixed quickly. The owner also brought in some additional floor mats for out snow logged shoes.
Very enjoyable stay and would stay here again.

We, my wife and three teenagers, stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday. What a great place! Well decorated, comfortable beds, close to downtown, the Hill, etc. Loved hearing the soft chime of a church bell in the distance announcing the hour. I highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to St. Louis!

This rental is SPECTACULAR! We stayed 6 nights to visit family who live nearby and it was perfect. The house is set up very well...from the most comfortable beds to the living room to watch TV! Jeffrey has thought of everything to make your stay a real vacation. The neighborhood is in a very safe family oriented area...close to any attraction you would want to visit! Jeffrey's neighbors are awesome too...very friendly! All in all if there could be more than a 5 star rating...I would give 10000000+! This rental is definitely one you don't want to pass up if you want a real vacation while visiting St. Louis!

As we were unloading the car, we met both neighbors. Very friendly people. Short walk to the grocery store and an easy drive anywhere...the Arch, Fox Theatre, The Grove, Busch Stadium ... It seemed like we were the first people to stay here because everything was so perfect, like new! I recommend it.
