Great little, basic hotel with free coffee and pastries in the morning. Modern, clean design and reasonably sized rooms, which is perfect for a short stay

Nice basic hotel with free Continental breakfast and coffee. Really beautiful courtyard and outdoor space.

I’ve stayed here a number of times and am obsessed with it. I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and as many times as I’ve stayed here I’ve never even seen a hair on bed sheets. This hotel reminds me of more of places I’ve stayed when traveling internationally where you feel like you’re staying in a hotel and in someone’s home at the same time. All units face inward or the courtyard and there’s a shared kitchen which gives it a bit of a community vibe. They also offer complimentary breakfast (think small pastries, grab and go fruit, and yogurt) and in the evening they offer complimentary sake during certain hours. The staff is so lovely - every time. Bed is comfy, all surfaces in room are easy to wipe and clean making it feel cleaner, and the rooms are relatively high-tech with ability to put on different color lights like red and blue which is kind of fun. Would recommend for anyone considering staying here! I’m typically out here for work and drive out of my way to stay here compared to comparably priced hotels.

We had a great experience with this property. Very helpful and polite staff, great light free breakfast with fresh croissants. Clean rooms. Complimentary Fiji water was a great surprise too compared to other local stays. 10 out of 10 ⭐️

Loved this hotel! The reception was very nice and accommodated an extra night when our flight was cancelled. The rooms were clean and modern and they provided quality necessities. The free waters and fruits and yummy continental breakfast was a nice plus (blueberry muffins were the best). The outdoor lobby was beautiful with a nice firepit for cold nights. We will come back!

Loved the uniqueness of the place, very comfortable beds, really great staff. I like staying in boutique hotels and this is at the top of my list now. I really enjoyed their sake in the evenings

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Mayumi. Staff and facilities were nice. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which included fresh pastries from nearby bakery. Courtyard was a very relaxing place to have breakfast and just chill. They have bicycles which guests can use for free. Appreciated being able to store our luggage and return later in the evening to pick up and chill in the courtyard before leaving for the airport. Would stay here again and have already recommended to friends.

Quite overpriced for the size of the room I had, but overall a clean and modern hotel. Wifi was not usable in my room.

Very Cozy property, perfect for a couple retreat. safe area, easy parking. Supermarket and Tjmax a walking distance.
Clean and well maintained room.
The only Con is the bed size, it is pretty small, probably full size.
My wife and I were not comfortable sleeping on tiny bed.

Every time we go to LA, we stay at the Mayumi. There are Super Chargers close by and real convenient to all the concert venues we go to. The staff is wonderful and remember us when we return.

Fangirling over this property. The place was immaculate, staff was nice, breakfast was complimentary, they offer sake from 5-7pm, and although it was a hotel somehow it felt like I was staying in someone's home (it was quaint, private, etc). Would recommend! But for anyone reading this, please don't come often enough that I can't get a room in the future! lol just kidding. It's amazing. Would highly recommend.

My experience was excellent. The room was neat and clean. I especially liked that there was no carpeting. The flooring was wood and tiles. Very nice. It was quiet and very clean. The service was excellent and the price was fair. The location was great being close to LAX and the West LA area and the 405, especially for the price!

Was in LA for a last minute work trip. Pleasantly surprised about the place. Place was very clean. Was initially concerned about parking the car on the street. Room was small but well designed.

Clean; friendly/helpful staff; great location (10-minute drive to restaurants in Japantown and downtown Culver City); good selection of breakfast items; sake 'happy hour' was a pleasant surprise; great shower. We enjoyed our stay and are hoping to stay there next time we visit L.A.

Room was stuffy and staff had no portable fan and no way to move me to a room that was vacant. It was strange. Otherwise the property was lovely. Rooms are very small.

Decent spot, a bit like a posh motel, wifi didn't work particularly well

This was such a beautiful place with a wonderful courtyard and common kitchen area. It is across from groceries and conveniently located close to freeways. The rooms are efficiently designed so you never feel cramped.
The staff was really nice and helpful. I am so glad I came across this place! I would love to stay there next time I visit

Mayumi was exceptionally clean, comfortable and conveniently located. It is a well-run property.

I stayed at Mayumi four years ago and came to stay for the first time since during the 4th of July weekend and they are just as impressive as they were then. The rooms are very clean and modern, the grounds are well kept, and the staff at the front counter are delightful. Although parking is only on the street, I felt safe. I will only stay here when visiting the west side and general Los Angeles area as it is close to most destinations. Good job, Mayumi!

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very modern

The property was located central to what I wanted to see and do in west LA. It was very quiet, didn’t notice any noise from traffic. The rooms are very compact, not much room to maneuver around the bed. All beds in this hotel are full sized

The Room, the lobby were both attractive.
The person checking us in was polite and hwlpful

So great; stayed two more nights!

The staff was very friendly, the area around Mayumi was active as there is a major shopping center across the street. Great amenities, one thing that could be improved is the shower temperature as it did not get as hot as we’d prefer, however the shower design was unique and the soap/shampoo was wonderfully scented. Parking was parallel on the street only.

Cute modern motel with small but well-designed rooms and lovely common areas for hanging out with friends, including a fire pit. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Street parking only, but it was pretty easy and close. Strip mall across the street with grocery store and Starbucks inside. Despite being right near some major streets, it was super quiet!

Great place to stay. Beautiful courtyard to enjoy meals or read. Double bed was a little tight for 2.
