Decent location in old town. Friendly staff.
With no AC, no fan and only one window that opened four inches, the room was really hot. Room
Was smaller than small. Shower was so small you couldn’t bend over to wash your feet and toilet room was so small you could barely shut the door. No elevator and the stairs were very narrow to carry bags up/down three floors. The breakfast was at the hotel next door and not worth what they offer. There was no parking in the area during the time we were there. There are much nicer hotels in the same area for around the same price.

No lift

Great location within the walls. Very helpful staff. Pleasant enough breakfast.
4.3
all was good and staff very helpful
nothing we did not like except no taxes around at the airport. But that is not the Hotels problem.
4.3
Room clean. Location of hotel good.
1) there was no elevator. I was on 3rd floor and it was difficult (and potentially dangerous) with luggage. Stairs were also narrow and steep. Not good for anyone with mobility issues
2) the toilet was in a cupboard next to the bed with no ventilation. Not ideal.
4.3
Central St.Malo and a really excellent breakfast in the cafe across the road
The property was nice, but might be an issue if you don’t like stairs,

perfect location
relaxed atmosphere

Perfectly positioned, in a quiet corner close to sea and restaurants. Welcoming staff, great breakfast, appreciated being able to drop bag before check in
4.3
Friendly and helpful reception. Very welcoming. Rooms were a great size and beds comfortable. Excellent location within walked city. Breakfast across the road was excellent. Slightly steep stairs to second floor bedroom.
Stairs to second floor

Pleasant, simple hotel in nice quiet backstreet location. Clear and friendly check-in experience. Bicycle parking very close. Short walk to local restaurants and shops.
No view from room...although there was a beautiful painted mural of the seascape on the wall facing our bedroom window! Most (all?) rooms seemed to be accessible only by stairs, which was no problem for us but could be difficult for some people.

The attention provided by the staff before during and after our stay wa amazing, we got train cancel and when we told them they sent us instructions for our late arrival in case we needed, in our arrival the attention was just amazing
4.3
The food was good.
The room was very small and there were too many people waiting round the food

We actually stayed in 3 different rooms, each was clean and comfortable. We had amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean, the islands, the Fort, and the walls. The location is perfect: in the intramuros, right above the walls, and well above the crowded gates and shopping area. The hotel is family-owned and run, so there is great pride in, and affection for, the hotel. They have a small bar across the street and serve an excellent breakfast in a very pretty room. I loved the choices, the proteins, the house-made cakes, and being able to boil my own egg. If I have the opportunity to return to St. Malo, this hotel is where I will stay. The owners, who were the primary staff, were exceptionally helpful, friendly, cheerful, and found ways to make sure we had rooms even with our unpredictable schedule. T
The hotel was excellent value for the money. There was nothing I did not like.
4.3
Incredible location, just inside the city walls near the beach! Comfortable room, friendly staff and allowed us to store our bikes securely.
4.3
The shower needs work. The drain is choked so floor flooding takes place when the shower is run for more than a couple of minutes. Shortest shower ever!
4.3
absolutely fantastic view. The staff were very helpful
4.3
Great owners. Superb room with sea views. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent bike storage. Stay here if you visit St Malo.
Steep steps into hotel renders it inaccessible to the disabled.

extremely small cups in
the room & no tea or
milk

Superb location
A bit if street noise throughout the night but to be expected given the central location
4.3
Fantastic view over the beach.
4.3
It was a very modest but perfect room. View of the water, clean and tidy, very friendly and accommodating reception.
4.3
great location. lovely sea view from room.
it was a little bit noisy at night but nothing you can do about that really due to its great location just by the beach!
4.3
Fantastic location by city walls and beach. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff. We were upgraded to a sea view room at no extra cost.
No complaints at all
4.3
Situated inside the old walled city, very clean and comfortable, I had a seaview, which was great.
Breakfast is €10 extra, well worth it; amazing selection of pastries, breads, jams, yoghurts, and can even make your own crepes!
There is no lift, so if you're unfit, very elderly or disabled, the steep stairs up to the rooms will make it unsuitable.
4.3
The location was amazing, fantastic views and the staff were lovely.
Would have liked better tea and coffee facilities, China cups instead of paper and there was no milk.
