Great location. Clean and comfortable room albeit looking a bit tired, as did the hotel in general. Breakfast was fine.
Reception staff had no clue about customer facing behaviours. Almost like they were called in at the last minute to cover. One of them then proceeded to sniff/snort from the back of his nose/throat, that it could be heard throughout the already dismal lounge area, where people were eating snacks and drinking. Was quite disgusting really. Also the restaurant was closed.

Such a great unique place with a history you have to go just to see and experience in the winter

Location of the property is excellent
The taxidermy animals everywhere is off putting, especially the birds above the room doors.

Superb location on the lake. Easy parking, large comfortable and quiet room. Excellent spa facilities included in room rate, really good evening meal at a table overlooking the lake. Flawless stay and would very happily recommend and stay again.
Nothing - everything was flawless.

We enjoyed the spectacular view from our bedroom and using the hot tubs at night - so relaxing! The bed is very comfortable and breakfast has a great variety. Staff were friendly!

A great location to do all kinds of activities in the area! The staff is very friendly and the room we had was very nice, clean and spacious. A feature which we really liked was the sauna which was integrated into our room!
In our room there were not enough plugs. Additionally we arrived quite late (9:30 PM) and were told that we still could have dinner, sadly this was not possible.

Lovely location over looking the lake - staff were very friendly and helpful too! I was impressed how clean the hotel was also, this is important due to covid.

The breakfast was decent, standard fare. Nice jacuzzi tubs with a stunning view. Our room also had a beautiful view. They let us borrow a fan because the room was so hot.
Parking lot needs to be paved.

Breakfast was a good buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The new veranda area looking towards the lake giving a lovely view.

The restaurant is very nice once its open.
There was virtually no service and no cozy corner to sit. We do not know how they measure the room size.
3.5
The location is handy - a five minute walk to the town centre and the hotel sits on the shore of Sweden’s deepest lake Hornavan. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the lake with a balcony and it was very comfortable with gorgeous views. We really liked the coffee and snack station in the reception area, the lounge on level 3 with views, the hot tub (again with views) and the fact that there were little touches like the games room and a kitchenette with a microwave in the hallway on the same level as the spa. The restaurant is very nicely done, contemporary, modern and feels fresh. I was very impressed - we will be back! Be aware that staffing arrangements during corona virus may sometimes be limited, but what’s not to like about having the hotel to yourself.
Nothing you can do about corona virus, but I do wish the restaurant had been open at night. Next time!
