Location
Room was very warm, furnishings were shabby

Great shower, got a free upgrade which is always nice, staff were very friendly, in a perfect location with parking right outside.

We stayed at a very large room with a great view to the lake. VERY confortable. Hotel front desk man was very polite.
3.8
location and staff were excellent.
It was all very comfortable and food was fine and just the restaurant was closed on Friday night with no notice.

Aamiainen oli tyypillinen ns englantilainen aamiainen. Sijainti hyvä.
Ei moitittavaa.
3.8
pleasant staff , good breakfast, ample parking , walking distance into town centre
3.8
very convenient location.
clean and comfortable
the bed was huge - a good thing - but too big for the room. It was difficult to get out as it was so close to the wall and no room for bedside table.
very thin walls, conversation could be heard from both adjoining rooms.
3.8
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Given the price tag, I expected higher-quality breakfast and soaps etc., but everything felt very cheap.
3.8
The location was convenient.
We were completely disappointed in the hotel. We saw the mixed reviews but decided to give it a try and wished we wouldn’t have. The decor was in bad taste (should stick with traditional highland decor, but that is my opinion) and the hotel needs a good washing down on the inside (the walls especially needed a good wiping down). Plus this was extremely expensive for what we got.

The size of the room was great and the view from the suite was wonderful the couch was rather hard and the table and chairs could have been better matched the 2nd rooms view was not good at all,
rather dated and several items were broken in both rooms could of done with updating and a handy man going around and fixing the items in both rooms could not turn the radiator off in the suit and the WC in the 2nd room didn't have a toilet roll holder and the seat was broken

Nice hotel and staff. We had a good time here.

staff very nice & helpful.
Only 1 bedside table, a little dated but did purpose for few days stay,

Unusual decor but lovely, great rooms, beds are great
The room had tea, coffee, crisps, a biscuit and chocolate on the beds👍
The staff couldn’t be mor helpful and the breakfast was great
3.8
Perfect location close to the city center.
Vanessa and the other member of the staff were super kind and professional, helping us with all our needs.

The location is great. My window was broken but the staff were onto immediately and fixed it promptly. Nice meal at the restaurant.
It’s very old and outdated.
3.8
Great location, friendly attentive staff, in beautiful surroundings.

I liked that we booked about 20 minutes before arrival and the room was ready for us when we arrived :) it was also easy to find and had all information needed on the website
The shower overflowed easy despite not being on for long and we ended up flooding the floor a little bit, but not really an issue!

Beautiful view.
Weak coffee.

staff Rose Anne was very friendly

Location of the property and also the property was very clean and beautiful

The rooms are okay, some bits of the building are quite old fashioned and like a labyrinth. But overall the room was clean and like the bottled water and small snacks provided in the room. The staff especially at breakfast was helpful and nice. The breakfast itself plenty and many great choices. I was especially happy that they had gluten free options available. Location is excellent with free parking, close to the main street.
We booked this room on the same day than the stay (ever changing Scottish weather so hiking is unpredictable until the last minute), however we were advised that the hotel doesn't actually have double rooms available anymore only twin rooms. Sadly due to the headboard style even is the beds were pushed together there was a gap between the beds. I mean we survived, but this is not what we expected and paid for. The hotel was not willing to give a discount and eventually they provided us breakfast on the house, however not because they offered but because we asked for it as a compensation. The beds were okay but not super comfy and had d strong drain smell in the bathroom - of course for one night with a last minute deal this was okay, but wouldn't pay the regular full price for this room.

we have not liked design of the hotet but it depends on individual preferences. May require innovation. Breakfast ok
3.8
brilliant location bit dated interior but staff lovely and rooms and bed very comfortable
bit dated in public areas rooms nice though

Rose and her husband were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t,t do enough for us.
The food was very good and the variety at breakfast was great.
3.8
The staff were lovely. Parking was free. The outside of the hotel does not reflect the inside which is very European and nice. The view over the bay from our room was peaceful. even though on a busy road, the rooms are reasonably quiet. The lift was very small, only just fitting the 2 of us and our suitcases in but hey, it had a lift! I loved the water in the customized bottles and the other welcoming snacks. We stayed an extra night as it is centrally located to Ben Nevis
The car parking spaces were small, glad we did not have a big car. At the back of the hotel there are a couple of bigger spots to park in. Choose wisely.
3.8
Restaurant staff is very nice. Location of hotel is closed to the train and bus station.
The facilities of hotel a bit old. The tap water in bath room is very weak.

We had a family room of three twin beds and the beds were comfortable. The view from our room was great! They also provided great towels and soaps. They staff was so friendly and even gave our little girl a box of chocolate at check in. We did not eat in the restaurant but we did stop in for a dram of whiskey which was great! We enjoyed the breakfast and checkout was easy. The staff was so kind and let us store our bags under the stairs so that we could explore downtown while we waited for our train.
Nothing really, we had a great stay.

Good location. Comfortable bed and good shower. This was our second stay.
3.8
Good location just off the main shopping street, wonderfully friendly staff, comfortable room, on-site parking.
Nothing in particular. If I were to nitpick, the place could use a bit of refreshing.

We arrived early but got checked in and staff were lovely and the chocolates was a nice touch on Easter Sunday.
