Worth staying at.

Nice cosy room. Pleasant staff only too helpful to give advice on tracks food etc. Was a good central location over looking the water. Would stay again.

Very peaceful stay with lakeside setting and within walking distance of town centre.

The location was ideal - right on the lake and very peaceful. Parking outside property was very convenient. Heater was effective when outside temperatures dropped.

The bathroom was very small.

Sehr enttäuschende, aber saubere Unterkunft in Seenähe

Der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Eine gepflegte Anlage, die in die Jahre gekommen ist, in Seenähe.

Das Badezimmer war zu klein: Dusche mit Vorhang und Waschbecken ca. 0,8 m x 1,8 m. Dieses kleine Bad dient auch als Durchgang zum separaten WC. Die Bilder bei booking.com sind sehr vorteilhaft mit Weitwinkel aufgenommen. Der Preis war mit 144 EUR/Tag weit überteuert.

Highly Recommend (Queen+Full Suite in January)

(Queen in Bedroom + Full Bed in Living Room Suite, stayed in January). -Loved location. -Quiet neighborhood. -Lovely, kind staff. They accommodated my additional requests. -Kitchen fully equipped. They even give you a pint of milk for your coffee/tea. -Beds very comfortable. -Appreciate I can park the car right next to room.

Fantastic place to stay close to the Lake

This is a fantastic place to stay within walking distance to the Lake, restaurants and activities. The manager was lovely and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. A full size fridge and cooking facilities in the room which is great if you're staying for a while.

Très bien situé au bord du lac et à 5mn à pied du centre ville. Grande salle de bain avec baignoire. Literie agréable. Extérieur très propre avec de magnifiques roses. Appartement agréable.

On n'avait pas de table à l'extérieur comme d'autres appartements. Dommage on aurait apprécié d'y prendre l'apero.

If you drive along the South Island and stay in Te Anau, this motel is a good choice for family.

This motel place is very clean and well maintained, sits at the centre of Te Anau town. Reception lady is very warm and helpful, gave me a good time plan for the trip to Milford Sound.

Perfect for a 2 night stay and a convenient location for visits to the Glow worm caves and Milford Sound

Good location by the Lake and not too far from the town and restaurants

Only the shower. And it would have been preferable to have a lamp in the bedroom. Overhead lighting was too bright for us. Everything else was fine

AMAZING VIEW BUT.......

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Te Anau Motel & Apartments. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the excellent view overlooking the majestic mountains. The scenery was truly breathtaking and added a lot to the overall ambiance of the place. However, I must admit that the apartment itself was a bit disappointing. It seemed a bit old and could benefit from a refurbishment. One major drawback was the constant creaking of the wooden floorboards with every step I took, which could be quite bothersome and potentially disturb others if staying in a shared space. Apart from the need for some updates, everything else was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area. Despite the issues with the apartment's condition, the beauty of the mountains outside almost made up for it. In conclusion, I would recommend Te Anau Motel & Apartments for its stunning mountain view and generally good service, but potential guests should be aware of the need for some improvements in the apartments.
