Great view from pool, helpful reception
Was slightly pricy for this type of small hotel, lacking a dedicated pool person\waiter to look after guests at pool.

Lovely colors, very tidy, and you feel entirely at home. The pool was great and very clean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and I highly recommend staying there. Five stars.
A very special thank you to the staff that made our stay enjoyable, like the maître d' and the receptionists. They are lovely and made our stay very pleasant.
We will come back.

I think the breakfast could have been better.

you really feel like you are away in a slice of heaven. the staff was very attentive and pleasant. the room was big and beautiful. breathtaking views! we would highly recommend as a little getaway. the pool and the pool area is beautiful and serene. they were very accommodating to my husbands nut allergy which we appreciated.
the breakfast was just ok. all the good stuff was not included in the "included" breakfast and had to be ordered off menu for an additional charge. also there wasnt a ton of variety food wise if you stay for multiple nights its the same thing. you definitely need a car as its in the middle of wine country with no transport!

Suddenly it was in front of us, Villa le Calvane, in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by mountain ranges and hills, on whose crests ancient pine trees gather in rows to pay homage to the beauty of this unique landscape.
The villa's tastefully selected interior and generous space create a cosy atmosphere.
As always, it is the people who make the difference: First and foremost the director of the house, Andrea, the sommelier Massimo and the service team, Prya, Monica and Daniele. Our special thanks go to them for an unforgettable time and hospitality!
We will be back, look forward to 2022, stay healthy!
Best regards
Britta & Stefan Wöhner
there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Pool and pool view ,comfortable beds and good dinner
New build hotel and disappointed in the external appearance. One of the buildings obstructs what should be a panoramic view from the restaurant terrace which is not shown on the photos . Also the building’s themselves completely lack any charm or character.
Extremely overpriced compared to other similar standard hotels. I know of others that are better and half the price. Hadn’t bothered lighting candle lanterns next to lawn seating to make the area feel welcome for pre/post dinner drinks. No full length mirror or iron in rooms

There's nothing to complain - the staff is charming (some of them could speak better English though). The food is simple yet cooked to perfection (some of the dishes but spaghetti chittara was one of the best dishes I've had). It's a super relaxing place!
The food is uneven - some dishes were unbelievably good, some were subpar.

The location is truly amazing - the view of the Tuscany vallies and hills from the pool or sunset watching while drinking beautiful local wine at hotel´s restaurant…
The design of the hotel and rooms is chosen very carefully from the best materials, with sense for details such as beautiful scent of the rooms.
Friendly and profesional staff.

We left the Hotel after one night because our room was contaminated with fungi in the air- conditioning. The mould fungus is getting spread by the air-conditioning in the entire room. We had respiratory symptoms, red eyes and a headache when being present in the room. The enclosed pictures are self-explanatory. Please feel free to do your own research on the health damages when being exposed to fungi in that extend.
When we complained, the receptionist was very nice and offered us another room. But even in the other room there was fungi all over the place in the air-conditioning.
Due to the fact that they were not able to give us a clean room without fungi contamination, we were forced to book another hotel and drive one hour at midnight to find another place. Our three days trip to Florence was basically destroyed.
Emails to get our payment back were never answered. Not even after several reminders.

Everything was beyond amazing, the hotel, the room, the facilities, the restaurant were all fantastic and the staff were the nicest friendliest and most helpful! Thank you for making our trip one to remember.

Small premium hotel with great service. Wonderfull view over the Toscana hills from the hotel, good location to visit the area.
That I needed to leave so early, it was only a two days mini holiday.
