Nice spa, friendly staff. Parking was available. Very nice area, near to local attractions.
2.0 / 5.0
1. One of the waitresses / receptionist was really nice and friendly.
2. The hotel is located near the town‘s center (although fair to say that the town is very small).
3. My daughter got some balloons when she asked for them.
4. The cook made my daughter French fries with fresh potatoes (apparently usually guests get the frozen ones…).
5. the cheese, tomatos and cucumbers at breakfast were good.
1. The pool is not filled with mineral water. Given the price and the town Pavel Banya being famous for its mineral water, I was expecting mineral water and was very disappointed.
2. The Maisonette that we had booked for 2 adults and two children had only one (uncomfortable) bed. The second adult and child had to sleep on a very uncomfortable and narrow sofa-bed.
3. The sheets were not crispy clean. The bathroom / basin were not really clean.
4. No one came to clean the room / throw the garbage during our stay (two days and nights).
5. We ran twice out of toilet paper (only one roll available, worst quality imaginable and as if one third the length of a normal toilet paper roll (as if the hotel was very much saving on toilet paper). we had to ask for it at the reception and bring it in the room ourselves.
6. Breakfast was more or less the same on both days and also below my expectations.
7. The Maisonette‘s windows were covered with shades that could not be removed so the place was always dark and sticky.

The location is okey. Staff is ok.
The SPA facilities are not what they were described to be - the pool water is cold (good for swimming but the pool is like 2.5m long so you can not swim), under 30 degree which is not expected for mineral water. Infrared sauna did not work. The steam bath was working only for a few minutes and you need to go to hotel reception every 10 minutes to ask them to switch it on. Breakfast was really low quality, I wouldn’t eat it. The hotel is used for school holidays/camps - it gets crowded with small kids and noisy- if you are booking there, always check with reception if they have school groups. Wouldn’t recommend to stay there if there are big school groups.

Access to SPA after 18:00
Main entrance is locked (full time) - no one warned us or waited for us at check-in
The restaurant seems understaffed. Very slow to take and execute orders
Had to pay extra for bathrobes
Expected warm mineral water in the pool, but it was rather cool
Some facilities like the steam bath didn't work

It’s small new hotel, 5 min from center. People are nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and bigger with terrace.
They are spa center but he doesn’t work… and is really small strange inside swimming pool.
In bathroom you must take a shower in the bathtub. Okay, but fill the whole bathroom with water to the room, they may have a problem with drainage. to be a complete adventure in the morning on the way to coffee, the electricity in the hotel stopped and we got stuck with my mother in the elevator… thank you for getting us out quickly, but my mother did not want to use the elevator anymore.

The place was clean.
We booked 2 rooms for a mother and a child in each room with a decent price. After the first shower we noticed that in both rooms the pipes are blocked. Lady at the reception said there’s no problem with blocking and we are doing something wrong. Next morning we go for breakfast. That was totally unsatisfying for the price. Just some slices of bread and cheese. Nothing for children at all. Not even yoghurt. Needles to say we had to go to a restaurant to have breakfast. Besides all that, rooms were not noise isolated. I could clearly hear conversations from next room. They found it also normal to place a mother with a baby next to the elevator so every time someone uses it and has a conversation in the corridor baby wakes up.

Felt clean. SPA was okay. Very calm atmosphere overall
Poor breakfast. Old woollen blankets. The painting on the wall of the room was creepy

Nice little hotel, with a good Spa. The room is big and comfortable and we especially appreciated the minibar in the room.
A short walk from the center and the restaurants.
Nothing.
