Great place to rest your head

Perfect location, beautiful decor, exceptionally clean, very secure.

Key code unit for the bedroom door was temperamental, the latch kept catching so took multiple attempts to get in. Bedroom floor loudly creaked when walking which wasn’t very relaxing. Bed (small double) and bathroom snug, which is probably only an issue if you’re 6ft+ like us!

The operating instructions for the integrated Oven / MICROWAVE were very tricky for me to understand.Probably my own fault due to my age (83) also I couldn’t get Netflix once again probably my lack of tech knowledge. But all in all we had a lovely and cosy stay. Thank you very much.

A true gem in central Rawtenstall

Loved the location, the cleanliness, the studio was very light and spacious, had a coffee machine and milk in the fridge, really nice bathroom, can’t fault a thing! It’s perfectly located - close to everything nice in Rawtenstall, but off the Main Street so not too loud. Also offers free parking on street and on the side lot. Honestly - highly recommended!!

A really nice place to stay, just a short walk from the many bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.

I stayed in the Milan suite at Moat House. The room was beautifully presented and decorated. It was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. And super quiet. It has a very comfortable bed with high quality bedding. I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. There is a good en-suite bathroom with a very good shower, and plenty of high quality towels. Communication with the host was excellent. And the check in and out process was very straightforward.

Great Location, Clean and Good Amenities

The location was excellent and the kitchen facilities perfect. The room was easy to live in for a week. The provision of Netflix was unexpected and welcomed. Parking was welcome too

The wifi was intermittent and this was very frustrating. If working from here, this would be a serious problem. The Moat House does not change your towels during your stay, which isn't ideal when staying for a week

The people in the nextdoor apartment were very noisy getting it on. There's no soundproofing 🤣 Bed was also fairly small.

Front door very heavy and hard to open on several occasions had to ask for help to get entry in the house. Left a day early due to the concerns of entry and exit from property.

Were there to visit my brother now living in care nearby. Moat House was eminently suitable.

Very, very well tastefully presented deluxe accommodation. The essential town centre location was what we needed - no car. Like Rawtenstall and surroundings.

Our booking of a Deluxe Suite lived up to expectations. However the Milan suite is and should be a single with a bedside cabinet and table lamp. Limited crockery eg. we could have done with egg cups and deeper cereal/soup bowls. Please provide information sheets for working the Oven and Hob, not everyone have smart phones.

Modern well equipped room

Room was great for a weekend stay, good size, clean and modern with a well equipped small kitchen area. If returning to the other I will definitely be staying here again at a reasonable price.

Not much really, if I was being picky the blinds were annoying and room got quite warm. This really is me trying to pick things that were an issue because there wasn’t really any.

The room was beautifully decorated, absolutely beautiful! the whole building was clean, airy, bright, homely, modern and an absolute pleasure to stay in. Well equipped kitchen, and bathroom!

We couldn’t fault the property at all! it is by far the best place we’ve stayed in ever through booking.com. We stayed mid week (weds-friday) the only thing I would say about town, is not many restaurants were open on a Wednesday night, but no faulting the actually property at all!
