Wonderful boutique hotel. Reception staff were discreet but very helpful when engaged. Elegant breakfast included. Our suite seemed a little dated with carpeting and older feel but was comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was big and modern. Amazing location as well. I would definitely return but would ensure to get one of the more updated rooms. The estate prosecco and macarons were an elegant touch.

The property was perfectly located and the staff were amazing. I have never been treated so well by staff anywhere. The food at Harry's was delicious and highly recommended. The only problems were : the pool (one of the main reasons I chose this hotel) was non operational and the room A/C just didn't cool to American standards of cooling down a room. I would definitely stay there again as the room was great, the food was great, the location was great and the staff amazing.

Hotel is right in middle of town. Old and elegant. "junior suite" is just a larger room (not a suite). Room attractive and elegant, but somewhat dated, not enough storage or surface area. (Problems with getting power from outlets - had to run long extension cord.) Staff very helpful and friendly (as is typical with 5*). Valet parking. Limited buffet for breakfast, but could order eggs. Pretty empty at breakfast. Hotel fronts on main plaza- perfect location.

Loved the room and the location.

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay especially if you are on a cruise because of the close proximity to the port we just rolled our bags over. The food is wonderful although simple for breakfast and the front desk people are full of helpful suggestions for pasta laces to eat. The only problem we had was the a/c had not been turned on yet in Mid May and with windows open and a fan in the room it was very difficult to sleep. The bed was comfortable but too humid for a good nights sleep

The location was really nice in the center of town and beautiful hotel wonderful restaurant and the staff was very helpful. I didn’t really have anything planned because I was just staying in Trieste for one night on my way to Slovenia. When I checked in, they suggested I go to the Kastel Miramare which was beautiful, spent four hours there it reminded me of the Schonbrun Palace in Vienna.

Staff was amazing, thanks Jelena at the front desk- pleasant and professional!

Nice hotel at the heart of the city. Easy access to tourist highlights.

Great location, service. Room was spacious. AC did not cool despite report for 2 days. Buffet was scant, had to pay for eggs (signature required before order was placed). About 200€ overpriced.

Great central location and probably the best staff I ever had in a hotel

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located. Easy access to many shops and restaurants. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, a little pricey, but tasty. Great view of the square.

Staff was incredibly helpful and attentive Professionally run establishment!

I n general I loved this hotel. The staff and service was exceptional. The food at the restaurant was excellent.
The level of noise at night was high at night due to a bar next to the hotel.

Ivan at the front desk could not have been more helpful. Mathew the bellhop did everything he could to assist.
Of course Harry’s Bar was classic and wonderful.
I think I got the last available room but was treated like a frequent guest. Highly recommended.

Overall, nice, older hotel in pedestrian area with restaurants, cafés and bars. Great location.
Apparently the hotel has to choose between either summer season and therefore the air conditioning is on or winter season and then the heat is on. We stayed at this hotel mid-October and apparently it’s “winter”.
We were able to open the windows before we went to bed to cool off the room but the noise from the street wouldn’t allow us to keep the windows open, therefore it was very warm, stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep. The room, while nice, I was extremely small and simple.

The hotel is very well kept and located right in the heart of Trieste's Piazza della Unita. Fantastic noise insulation and service. Excellent for both business (which was my case) and leisure.

Beautiful hotel, inside and out. The staff are excellent. The only issue is the room, our air conditioning didn’t work so sleeping was difficult at 26 degrees. They could also do with a mirror in the room, I had to dry my hair using a small handbag mirror !

Wifi every 10 minutes , I must confirm. Otherwise not connected.
Mini bar was included. But I didn’t know.
The room was very clean.
Staff kindly.

Nice staff, Prosecco on arrival, valet and busman were very efficient. Bartender was very good and friendly, we only ate in the bar, because the fine dining restaurant was full, but the service was great and so was the food. We ate out on a pier which had a great view of the sunset and good food.
Overall, the hotel was wonderful and if we return, we will definitely stay at this hotel

Nice location, very close to the harbour front and the city center.

The location is the best thing about this hotel, as well as the bar where breakfast is also served. The wellness facilities were very disappointing, with the jacuzzi and one sauna not working - they were nothing like on the website. The room we were in was very small and the bathroom basic and quite worn. For the money I am sure there are much better experiences.

steambath was not on the first day, upon request i was told. so i requested it for the next day- still no steambath on. asking the receptionist about it i was asked my roomnumber (rather rude), giving me the feeling 'not in your bookingclass'. next day still no heating... can live with 'its broken', only weekends- somehow it stayed a miracle to me why the steamer was not on.

This was a truly delightful stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The decor is striking. Breakfast is exceptional, with thanks to the chef and Signore Thom!
We felt the wellness center and hot springs were a touch misrepresented in the advertising. A pleasant space for relaxing, but not offering the more intense heat of a therapeutic experience we were hoping for. Warm springs.
Nevertheless, the location could not be beaten and we highly recommend this hotel, especially for its staff. Also, the Michelin starred restaurant certainly doesn’t hurt!

It was well maintained, historic and beautiful. We loved the location overlooking the plaza and were just steps away from the sea board. We had easy access to restaurants and shopping.
