About this house rental
The Jasper house sits nestled on 4.25 acres of undisturbed terrain. Features hot tub, swing set, 7 person spa, hammocks, glow in the dark mural, outdoor games (including glow in the dark corn hole). It is 2 bedrooms 1 bath, EV charger (please note this is a universal ev charger and you must have your own adapter for your specific car to use) Stargaze with no light pollution. It is minutes away from all of the popular attractions but still far enough away to feel off the grid. We are on the boarder of Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley. Master has queen size bed, secondary bedroom has a two twin size beds (trundle), living room has queen size sleeper sofa. Sleeps 6.

This was an AMAZING property! I want everyone to check this place out! Laying in hammocks while looking at a million stars, hottub fun, clean house, the most comfy bed ever, and lots of little added touches! Hosts were so nice and were easily in contact! A

The property was amazing. So much to tell. Jasper Glow matched the VRBO listing description. So many fun and unique items were available at the home.
Games, telescope, and fun tea and tea party supplies were provided.
The hot tub was a great way to relax after our Joshua Tree hike.
My biggest complaint is that I planned a short trip and too many activities, with the biggest issue being that I did not allow enough time to enjoy all this home had to offer.
Hosts were receptive and even answered the phone late Saturday evening when I needed help getting back in the home due to user error with the keyless entry system.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house and outside space are fantastic - lots of thoughtful touches, modern and well equipped, and we all loved the hammocks, hot tub and swings. Perfect area for stargazing. The hosts were extremely helpful.

My family had a wonderful stay at The Jasper House. Communication with our host was always fast and she was so kind and helpful with suggestions. When we arrived we were just thrilled with all of the cute little details and surprises that the house held for us. They really thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. The Jasper House exceeded our expectations and we’re can’t wait to return again. I highly recommend this property. It’s quite, and the scenery is just gorgeous, especially when the sun sets. You won’t be disappointed!

My Mom and I live in two different states. We met up in Nevada and headed to this lovely, peaceful, welcoming spot amidst mountains and gorgeous desert. The bumpy, sandy road leads to quiet perfection. The house is adorable-has everything you could need. It’a clean and has charm and thoughtfulness everywhere you look. We began with watching the sunset from the swings. We cooked dinner, listened to records, watched the stars, and enjoyed a glass of wine. It was perfect. My Mom has never VRBO’d before-at first felt like it was more than we needed. Wouldn’t a hotel do? But she’s won over and Jasper House will linger in her memory as such a special experience. Mariesa was responsive, helpful and thoughtful for everything. We felt very welcome. Thank you!

We had a great stay here, and there was enough to do that we wished we had more than one night to stay.
The hosts left us a thoughtful welcome basket that we enjoyed every piece of, my kids had a blast in the hammocks and we woke to them playing Monopoly in the living room, and we all spent the evening in the hot tub looking for shooting stars after playing some black-light corn hole.
Overall it was a great experience.

This property is truly magic! Book it. You can thank me later. This property is absolutely everything you see in the photos and more. Watching the golden hour in the hammocks surrounded by joshua trees and yucca plants will forever be a core memory of our family. What they don't tell you is that the cabin is absolutely perfect. The master bedroom's bed is perfectly comfortable and the touches the owners have put everywhere are noticed. I wish we had been there for days! From the glow in the dark sunglasses to the smores kit, everything was just amazing. The location of this property can't be beat. It's truly just amazing!!!! We had a medical emergency while we were there and the owners checked on us several times, even calling us just to see how we were doing. I would recommend this property just based on location and awesomeness but the owners make it a must!!!! Bring your good camera because you'll want to take pictures of everything!

We stayed here with our 3 kids during a trip to Joshua Tree NP. It’s the perfect place! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The outdoor space - desert landscape, hammocks, swings, hot tub - is the icing on the cake!

The only thing I didn’t like about the Jasper House is that we couldn’t stay long! The essence of this house is FUN and BEAUTY! You will not run out of things to do… hot tub, swings, hammocks, stars, cornhole!!!! Scavenger Hunt for the kids… truly once of the most thoughtful places I have ever been. You can feel the love that has been poured into making the Jasper House a magical experience for all who come!! Thank you!

The property was just like the pictures. It's out in the desert so the stargazing is amazing but close enough to town you won't be in a bind if you need some supplies. If you are taking the family or a small group to Joshua Tree and don't plan on camping in doubt you could find a better spot. The property comfortably sleeps a family of 4 and could even has cots for a couple more. The outdoor space is excellent and the hosts are very responsive and communicative. I had no issues finding it with Google maps but the additional directions provided by the hosts helped too. The road up is a dirt road and requires some ground clearance, but my rental sedan was sufficient. Overall it is everything you would hope for so close to Joshua Tree.

I booked this property in hopes to find a place for my girlfriend and I to get away from our busy lives and that’s exactly what we got. The house is situated up on a bluff south of the main town of Joshua Tree overlooking the valley. This remote location offers an excellent experience for star gazers and those who prefer privacy. Upon check in, we were greeted with a bottle of wine for my girlfriend and I to share and books with plenty of information detailing the property and fun things to do in the surrounding area. The house was very clean and offers various games to play. The hot tub outside was clean and in great condition. Around the property there are hammocks for star gazing, a fire pit, and swings to watch the sunset. The only advice I’d give is to make sure you’re bringing a vehicle that can handle unimproved dirt roads to the property. 4WD would be recommended as the entrance/exit to the paved roads is very sandy and you could get stuck. Not a problem for us, but definitely should be considered when booking. That being said, this house was everything we were looking for. The host was very responsive to our inquiries and obviously went out of their way to make this experience perfect. We WILL be returning!!!!!

It is a cute and unique place. I love how the owners have added very thoughtful touches trough the property.
The directions on how to get there were also helpful. Our GPS worked all the way, but their description was helpful.
We were even going to add another night, but the property got booked that day.
We will definitely plan to come back!

What a great spot! Our family enjoyed the downtime in the hot tub, gazing at the stars around the fire pit, and the tremendous views in the morning. The owners have so many nice touches in this property, and the communication made it very easy to find and access.

We loved staying at this cute little house. It was very nicely decorated and clean. Our hosts seemed to think of everything. For instance, they had a telescope for stargazing and binoculars. There is plenty of privacy on the patio with the hot tub. The immediate surroundings are beautiful. They even left us a bottle of wine, snacks and covered our bed in rose petals. We had excellent communication with our hosts prior to and during our stay. We highly recommend this property as it is also close to the grocery store and the Black Rock Canyon trails.

This is truly one of the best experiences I have ever had with a property. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and has the absolute beta amenities you could ever wish for. The hosts went above and beyond in every possible way. I can guarantee that anyone who books this property will fall in love with it just as my entire family did! Perfect launching pad for your desert adventures. You can see the love and attention to detail that the owners have put into this home. The hot tub was the perfect end to a day of hiking and a great place to check out the stars. Amazing views at night from the property.

A gem of a property, comfortable, quiet with great desert views, lovely outdoor spaces, sumptuous and fun welcome basket, and an informative book about the area. We plan to come back. Two small issues: the thumbprint door lock did not work consistently for us, and the kitchen table was wobbly. We don't mind dirt roads, but some might mind the ruts and bumps.

We loved our stay at Mariesa and Lillian's place, which was a perfect home base for our family of 4 to explore Johsua Tree. The house is exactly as described in the listing/photos - recently updated and perfectly maintained. The location is close to town for convenience, but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful views and night sky. The hot tub at night was amazing, and the hammocks were a relaxing place to read in the afternoons. The hosts are very friendly and responded to us immediately when we had a few questions. Don't hesitate - book it now if you're considering!

Had a couple of little bumps checking in, but there was a video doorbell that we were able to communicate with the owners and they were able to assist in giving us entry. Also, the Tesla charger was not there, possibly taken by a previous guest. Unfortunately, our rental car did not have one either. One of the reasons that we booked this house was so that we could charge overnight and be ready to go the next morning...so just a bit of an inconvenience and added cost have to go and charge in town.
The place itself was amazing, just as described in the post! It was clean, comfortable, and so much fun to stay at...would definitely recommend!

My husband and I recently spent four nights at Jasper House and absolutely loved it. Mariesa was very responsive before, during and after for any questions or concerns we had about our rental. She even sent us a picture of the snow after we left – it was fun to see snow in the desert. We spent two days hiking at Joshua Tree National Park (great hiking – there is a map in the house so you can plan your hikes) and went to Palm Springs one day. We did not eat out – it was too nice to come back to Jasper House to relax with a beer/glass of wine and dinner. Jasper House was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals, plenty of hot water, towels and beach towels, and the place heated up quickly with the mini-splits in each room. We loved the black light corn hole – it was pretty chilly when we were there but we put on our jackets and went outside to play. The hot tub was awesome too – had a couple nights with clear skies so it was nice to sit in the hot tub and star gaze. There wasn't anything we did not like about our stay. If we are ever in the area we will arrange our schedule so that we can stay here again!

Great little property. We had rain and snow pretty much all weekend which made for great views of the snow capped mountain around the property and fun drives up the dirt road to the property. Jacuzzi was great along with the other amenities. Hosts were so wonderful and communicative through the entire process! Will be on our list to come back to for sure!

Wow, this property was a piece of heaven. Our family of 3 stayed for one night and it was the perfect spot. Only 5 minutes from a paved road but we felt completely secluded. The property had so much charm and the amenities we needed. We were still on east coast time and woke 2 hrs before sunrise. The sunrise from the property was breathtaking. Don't miss out on this gem.

I was looking for a place that would be easy for my husband to entertain our 4 kids in while I ran the Joshua Tree Half Marathon…and Jasper House 100% delivered! The kids got to check out the nearly full moon using the telescope; something they’ve never done before. They played games and watched movies and when I finally got there after my night run, we sat by the fire outside and laid in the hammocks and looked at the stars. Thanks to time change, the littler kids were up TOO early, but they were happy to hit the hot tub at 6am while I drank my coffee next to the fire pit. The house is perfectly stocked, beautifully decorated, and had so many special touches (like congratulating me on my run on the door chalk board!). We will absolutely be back. Thank you Jasper House!
