Under new ownership with lots of upgrades, this oceanfront home in North Topsail Beach has direct beach access and plenty of parking.

The home has been renovated/remodeled with fresh paint, new flooring, and brand-new kitchen cabinetry, countertops, and appliances, as well as the addition of tons of amenities. These amenities include large decks off the kitchen and main suite with plenty of seating, a picnic table, and an outdoor shower. There is a shade and rain-covered roof section over part of the second-floor deck. Other outdoor amenities include a large Bullfrog A8 hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean. Imagine enjoying the hot tub with the drink of your choice, as the summer air turns cool in the evening; you may never want to leave! There is also an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water.

There is a large game room on the first floor with ping pong, foosball, darts, a large smart TV, a bar area with stools/seating, and a full-size refrigerator. There is an open-concept living area on the main floor and ample seating in the dining area. Live like a local and cook your meals in the brand-new kitchen, equipped with a wine cooler, double oven, stainless appliances, granite countertops, and all the utensils and cookware you need. Main suite bathroom amenities include a heated ceramic floor, dual tower showers with a stained-glass window, and a whirlpool tub. Need to work remotely or get some studying done? There is a reading nook/small office area and high-speed WiFi.

Don't leave your best friend at home! This vacation rental is pet-friendly, so your pup can take part in the vacation fun too.

Other amenities include Point Central door access code and thermostats, six smart TVs, a full-size washer/dryer, and white-washed tongue and groove ceilings.

The bunk room area on the top floor is a walk-thru area to the main suite.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable for our party of 3 adults and kids would have been tight at max capacity. We loved being right on the beach. The layout of the living/dining/kitchen area was open and inviting. We also spent a lot of time on the spacious deck. Biggest glitch for us was the hot tub not working. Other things that would have enhanced our stay would have been having king size bed in the master room (my husband, baby and I had to slit up bc the bed was so small) and access to a community pool. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay. It’s a lovely home.

A beautiful home, well appointed, and amazing location but definitely in need of TLC and a more thorough and responsive management company. There was seemingly mold in the bathroom which was surprising. There were also issues with the hot tub and other items in the home that were communicated to Vacasa but never resolved. It was great being mere steps from the beach and ocean!

Look no further - Top of the Dune has it all. From an ideal location to the ocean facing hot tub, this home will satisfy all of your vacation needs. We stayed with our 3 children and fur babies. I particularly loved the outdoor shower, multiple hoses, and dual shower head in the master bathroom after a long day at the beach.The stairs are a lot as we had a 1 year old. Baby gates were provided but did not fit on the top of the stairs where we needed them. Management was willing to solve all our needs and provided great communication. We loved this home and hope to possibly return!! Highly recommend.

Although we couldn’t have possibly enjoyed it all, this house was loaded with board games, books for all ages, and puzzles aplenty. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were beach chairs and toys in the deck box on the landing going to the beach. The house was very clean and the bed linens and towels were provided. The location of the house was perfect with no houses across the street behind it to compete for beach space. There was plenty of room all around us which is what we prefer. All in all, this was an amazing house for our family with children and Vacasa was as easy to deal with as could be.

This is our second visit to this house. The house was very clean and smelled nice on arrival. Vacasa staff called to see if our check in went smoothly and offer any assistance needed. The house has everything we needed to cook and have a great little vacation. The game room is a great bonus. There are many games and books to use for the stay, too. The hot tub overlooking the ocean is perfect. The kids love the primary bathroom, with the double shower heads and multidirectional spray options. We’ll definitely be back again!

Loved the home and all the space. The game room was so much fun. We enjoyed a peaceful quiet stay with our pups. It was very convenient to Sneads Ferry and plenty of options for places to eat. Great Topsail getaway!

We enjoyed our stay and house was clean. Only problem was communication with Vacasa. We left some items that I wanted to have returned to us (we informed them immediately and told them we would of course pay for the return postage) Have talked to no less than 3 different Vacasa employees and only one responded back stating they would “look into it”but crickets since then. Frustrating!

Great house and great location ! We use VRBO for everything from the beach to the mountains and this home by far was the best. Easy check in and iut ! House was well appointed and you have everything you need. The house was clean on check in . I cant stress enough how nice it is to check in to a beach rental and not have to contend with grit on the floors. The rooms were all nice and comfortable. My only issue is that i would like to aee a king soze bed in the master.

I rented this house for a girls weekend for 3 people. The house was amazing! It was very peaceful and quiet- away from the public beaches but quick access to a grocery store if needed. It was a wonderful trip

This home feels so far from a rental, I feel like it’s partly my home! The beach house is set up as the owners home and we were so blessed that they have chosen to share it with us! Decorated beautifully, and literally not one forgotten detail. Things that I didn’t know I had forgotten were even provided. The beach front property is gorgeous, direct access to beach, and we so enjoyed the enclosed decks for our doggos. You can easily access the mainland or the central/southern part of the island from this location, giving you lots of food options. Definitely a place we plan to go again with our adult kiddos in tow! Our sincerest thanks to the owners for sharing their gorgeous home with us! ❤️

This house worked well for our family trip. We had 3 generations along, and everyone had a great time. The house is well decorated and cozy. The latching gates on the deck are very helpful for keeping little ones in. The house has everything you need and more. The game room is a nice bonus, plus there are games and books throughout the house. TVs are in every room for when you need to get out of the sun for a bit. The hot tub is great, and we appreciated the shade provided over part of the deck. The little stretch of the beach around the house is pretty quiet. The shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. The management company was very quick to respond to questions, though, we didn’t have many. We would definitely choose this house again. Thanks!

We rented this property bc it had a hot tub advertised. When we arrived it was not operational and I had to spend HOURS on the phone with customer service which is centralized to some chat bots and a national number. I was finally told issue was “referred to the local team” and no actions could be taken. Then, without the local team calling us to ask us about the problem OR coming to inspect the hot tub, we were told that a new control panel had to be ordered and wouldn’t be in during our stay. The fact that they diagnosed the problem without talking to us or visiting the property tells us that Vacasa KNEW the hot tub was inoperable and they allowed their misleading listing to remain. Our pre-visit communications were also ignored. We were offered no meaningful compensation for the misleading advertisement and the VRBO “guaranteed booking” service was not helpful either . Bottom line? Don’t stay at a vacasa property, especially if initial inquiries are unanswered. UNRESPONSIVE customer service.

It was an absolutely beautiful home with stunning views. Plenty of games and books too!! The only somewhat negative comment would be is the hot tub took up too much space on the deck and obstructed views from the dining room table. Overall, it was perfect.

Spent a week with dear friends, walking the gorgeous beach, swimming, enjoying the hot tub, and amenities at Top of the Dunes rental house. Loved the beach house at ocean front, lovely well equiped kitchen, tv's, game room, bedrooms & awesome bathrooms. Even checked the reading nook, variety of movies, games & books. Great place for families & friends! Plan to return in the near future.
