The house was nice and spacious. A little out dated but still super clean and nice. The towels came from a cleaning service wrapped in plastic so you know they were clean. Its was great waking up every morning right on the beach. We have kids so it was super nice if anyone got tired or hot they could just go back to the house and the rest could still play. We would definitely book again!

This house was perfect for our 3 generation beach trip. Beach access was so easy. Only feet away from the sand , allowed the young and old to visit the ocean as often as desired.

Quick check in, detailed, and organized... The beach access was unbeatable! The house itself inside was pretty disappointing and very deceiving. Upon arrival. The home smelled musty and was not cleanly to where we could tell someone had just fresh cleaned the home. The back balcony was usable and blocked off due to safety reasons. Several overhead lights were flickering and crackling if and when turned on. The blinds throughout the house either didn't work or were broken, including the slider blinds on the back door. We were told there would be a washer being replaced before we arrived on Monday. By Friday AM, 5 days went by and we had NO washer for a family of 9 at the beach. This made towel washing non existent. At no point and time did we ever get offered extra beach towels or bath towels to suffice the broken washer. The fridge was making loud noises at times and could not keep up with staying cool. We had to throw out some food due to it not being any cooler than our Yeti. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the whole home could use a modern makeover. There were no pot holders for the oven, there were no extra paper towels, toliet paper, etc.

I logged a ticket the first day of check in and never heard back from the management company. The dishwasher didn’t work and was giving an error and making a “alarm” sound. So we had to wash dishes by hand all week. The coffee pot filter holder is missing and the other coffee pot had mold growing in it. The shower curtain had mold on it as well. Food was splattered on the wall of the kitchen. The view was pretty and the access to the ocean was great! But at night there was traffic noise. I’m frustrated that the management company never came out.

The house was right on the water and had everything you need for a trip to the beach! It was clean and well setup for families or friends coming together. Even though it is a duplex, you cannot hear anything coming from the other side, so excellent privacy! Definitely would rent here again.

My family and I stayed here in August of 2023. We had both a good and bad experience. The home was affordable and in an amazing location. It was easy to fit 4 adults, 4 kids, and our dog. The walk to the beach was *amazing*. They also had loads of clean towels, lots of beach gear in the house, and the view was unbeatable. Better access and view then most of the mansions. However, it had some issues like the bathroom door not close all the way, the back porch balcony wasn't useable because of it's old condition, and the ceiling started leaking in the downstairs, which was probably caused by the AC failing on the day before checkout. We had to leave a night early because of the air conditioning completely broke. Vacasa said they would send someone to fix it, but never did. The house was over 85 degrees by the time we decided to just drive home the night before checkout. We would have liked a refund for a night since the packing and leaving unexpectedly in the heat was an outrageous ordeal (kids tantrums, baby crying, last minute whole-house cleaning, pregnant lady had to leave and sit in a restaurant just to cool off..) but Vacasa only gave us an insignificant refund for our trouble and it took quite some time and lots of follow up to receive even that. Overall, the location was enough that I would stay again, but I would really encourage Vacasa to care for the house better and improve their customer service.

The condo was very comfortable and spacious. We loved the access to the beach.

We were honestly a bit nervous because there was a concerning review about 1 month prior to our stay. However it appears that all of those concerns were addressed and we were relieved! This place is NOT fancy and definitely needs some cosmetic TLC, however the view and beach access makes up for it. We would definitely stay here again! It is directly beside of a public beach access so the beach gets a little crowded but does thin out by the house which is nice. We did not have trouble finding a good beach spot without feeling like we were on top of someone else. Check in rating was low due to initially being provided the wrong door code.

It was nice on the water

Let’s start with the positives. Location, views, and beach are great. Cute gift shops and decent restaurants. Right next to a public beach access, so might be crowded in summer but was good for people watching at this time in April. Negatives - The bedroom on the main floor has a tiny porch through a sliding glass door. This porch is hazardous. I would not even step out onto it. There were broken posts and rusty nails. The main floor bathroom is TINY. The shower would be great for short, thin people if it weren’t broken. The floor of the shower has a huge crack in it. We had not even used the shower yet and I pressed on the floor with my foot and water squirted out. This is a hazard. I can understand the small bathroom but the hazard of the floor is a red flag to me. We wound up using the upstairs shower instead. That one is also weird though. While standing in the tub, the floor has a hard area. This made me question if the tub was safe. So, we only stood on that hard area - afraid the rest of it might crack like the downstairs bathroom. The back porch needs some tender loving care too. The boards were popping up and jiggly, rusty nails, and an unstable rail. I would not walk barefoot out there. Next are tiny things that are not usually deal breakers for me but should be noted here in case they might be big deals to other people. Everything needs a DEEP clean. Upstairs flooring has stains everywhere, kitchen cabinets and fridge seemed a little gross, and there is dust everywhere. The living room board game shelf, the tv area, the decorations above the cabinets in the kitchen, the decorations on the stair landing, etc. The sliding glass doors were also a bit of an issue for us. When we leave the house to go to the beach, we generally lock up. However, there is no key to lock those doors when you go to the beach. Anyone could walk off the beach right into the place. The instructions from Vacasa (the rental management company for this property) gave instructions to open the downstairs door that were not correct. So, it took a long time to open the door to get in. The pictures on this listing are not actually current either. The kitchen is painted blue, there are different couches, etc. I should have known better when there was only 1 review for this place, but I wanted to give it a shot. This place would be amazing if they just took care of a few issues. Hopefully they can do that and update this listing. If they do that, it would be worth staying.

I love that the house is both right on the beach as well as right across the road from a little park that’s on the marsh. Great sunrises and sunsets!
