The Space
We invite you to make yourself at home! We strive to provide you with a bright, clean environment with the luxuries and conveniences of a high-end hotel and the comforts and security of staying at a friend’s home. We've recently added a patio with a gas grill, dining table and lounge area.
The house consists of four comfortable bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, an open dining area, and a large family room with a pull-out sofa. Please let us know in advance if you plan to use the sofa bed or the air mattresses so we can provide extra linens.
The primary bedroom overlooks the backyard and features an ensuite bathroom with a huge walk-in shower. The other three bedrooms are located in the front portion of the house, providing the primary bedroom suite with a sense of privacy. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, and the other three rooms have queens. All four beds have brand-new mattresses and luxuriously soft linens. The beds are topped with fluffy (hypoallergenic) down-alternative comforters. The house contains three large bathrooms - two with walk-in showers and one with a bathtub and shower combination.
The bright, open kitchen has brand new high-end appliances, immaculate counter tops, and a central island with stools. The kitchen is equipped with the tools you need to whip up a gourmet meal for your group. If you find there is something missing, please shoot us a message and we will help you find it. The kitchen is open to the dining area, making it an ideal space for a family dinner. The 8 ft dining table with 10 seats was custom-made for our space.
Past the kitchen you’ll find a spacious comfortable family room with a large smart TV. Sliding glass doors open the family room to the large backyard. It is surrounded by a privacy fence, making it a great place for the kids, pups, or even the adults to play. We provide corn hole and bocce ball. There's a train track that runs directly behind our privacy fence. Trains run several times daily and toot their horns. It can be very fun for the kids, but if you are sensitive to loud noises this may not be the property for you. Park Circle is surrounded by trains, so you'll want to consider other parts of the Charleston area.
We love dogs and our home is pet-friendly! We only asked that you please keep them off of the furniture. Max of two dogs, no size or breed restrictions, no additional fees or deposits. Please shoot us a message before booking if you are interested in bringing your pup so we can let the cleaners know.
There is a covered carport and plenty of space for parking.

Location
Located in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston, our house is an ideal place to stay when visiting the Charleston area for work or play. Park Circle is a friendly, eclectic neighborhood conveniently located a short drive from the airport, downtown Charleston, and the beaches (10 minutes to the airport, 12 minutes to the North edge of downtown, and 15-20 minutes to the beaches at Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms, to be more precise). Our diverse and open-minded neighborhood is experiencing an exciting revitalization and was named the “Brooklyn of South Carolina” by Thrillist.
Park Circle is an easily walkable area peppered with several parks, green spaces, and outdoor recreational areas, even its own disc golf course. Walk to the Farmer’s Market on Thursdays, take in a CrossFit or yoga class at Locomotion Fitness, or pick up some craft beers at the Brew Cellar. Be sure to visit Stems and Skins, our friendly neighborhood (James Beard nominated) wine bar and try some of our awesome local restaurants. You can walk or bike to Riverfront Park, located just outside of Park Circle on the Cooper River. Riverfront Park is home to the High Water Music Festival, hosts many other concerts and festivals throughout the year, and is a great spot for a picnic. The neighborhood is encircled by train tracks that service Charleston’s port. The trains can create a fun memory for children; however, if you think the noise may bother you, you may want to consider staying in a different part of the Charleston area. Other than the occasional train horn, we think you will find the neighborhood peaceful and quiet.

We met my parents and family in Charleston for a few days. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My mother is in a wheelchair, so having a 1 story was a must.
5.0
Great place. Listing was very accurate! All of the rooms were welcoming and neatly set up. The check in and checkout was super easy. The owners were communicative and available if needed. Perfect place for my bachelorette weekend and the 3 full bathrooms were a huge bonus for 9 girls. Close to the beach and to downtown. Good food options that were close. Train that ran by the house was a little annoying, but not much that could be helped there, ear plugs and box fans were provided to dampen the train horn.

Great 10 min ride to the Credit One Stadium to watch tennis!!! Very nice 4/3 with lots of amenities. All beds were very comfortable and sheets and comforters clean and neat. Nice living area with Streaming TV with lots of options for watching. If you like games there are several to choose from. Kitchen is well appointed with a very nice coffee maker (coffee and sugar included), microwave, gas stove and refrigerator with ice maker. Nice large outdoor area and an occasional train that will be exiting for the kids! All in all I would recommend this home as this is my 2nd time staying here.
2.5
Great place to stay if you're visiting Charleston. Within walking distance of several good restaurants and interesting spots in North Charleston. Perfect for families with dogs (as long as they don't mind nearby trains)
4.0
Property was clean, hosts were extremely kind and responsive. Only downside is location and uber wait times if you want to spend a lot of time downtown. Would stay at another one of the host's properties if it were in a better location for my needs.
5.0
Would definitely recommend staying here. Plenty of space, a few places within walking distance, and downtown was close enough to Uber. Reliable instruction from the property manager and had no issues whatsoever.
3.0
Overall, the place was clean, roomy, and welcoming.
Yes, there's a train that goes by right behind the backyard fence that has to sound off before crossing roads that you need to be aware of, especially light sleepers.
The silent issue you need to be aware of, at least in my case, was the owners. I reached out to them before my stay to make sure I would have extra sheets for the air mattress, but they decided not to reach out to me about keeping the $500 damage deposit, despite having my number. They left it to me to check my credit card statement, see it hadn't been refunded, and then message them. If they had reached out I could have explained that the damage was present when I arrived, and they had missed it during their inspection of their own property. I'm just glad I saw the issue and took a photo to prove it was there. This lack of communication was very frustrating and could have been avoided. I sincerely hope the owners implement a new process across all of they properties for issues like this in the future.

Great convenient location for the bars / restaurants nearby and the Highwater Festival!

Great and spacious home! Outdoor space was an added bonus for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, great for a group!!

Pros:Cute layout and looks like it was remodeled in the inside. Great communication with the host. Beds were comfy. The had the house stocked with a lot of the essentials, like cleaning supplies, appliances, spices, utensils, etc. Very rare to see in VRBO rentals and we did appreciate that. Cons:even though it states that a train passes several times, it should be noted that a train comes through every two hours in a 24hr period and blares the horn. The tracks are maybe less then a 100 steps from the house. So if you want to sleep through the night this house may not be for you. The outside of the house did not match the inside(super cute inside). The walk to Park City was about an 18min walk and we did not feel comfortable, as females, walking alone in this area. We did drive there and I will say, Park City is a cute area but wanted to make others aware of the “walking” distance to it. Overall enjoyed our stay and appreciate allowing us to stay here.

Did a great job with the interior design of the home. Very nice and comfy. There’s a train that literally goes through the backyard multiple times throughout the night (as well as during the day) and uses its super loud horn while passing by. Besides the train and a neighbor who decided to ride his loud chopper up and down the street one night, the neighborhood ended up being otherwise quiet and fine. It’s not the best part of town - only a minute or two in each direction and you get into some real sketchy areas. It was a good deal relative to properties in Mt Pleasant, for example, and we were late to the game in reserving a place.
Overall, nice interior design of the home but train and neighborhood not great. Handled our family of 11 easily.

A nice house in a good location. There is a train track behind the house that did have some traffic, but other than that the house was welcoming for a large family!
5.0
Great location- very convenient to bars/restaurants. 15 min drive to downtown charleston and 20min to sullivans beach. super responsive host. house is very clean. beds are comfortable. Two large air mattresses. plenty of space for 8 of us to fit comfortably. will note that the train is literally directly behind the house and runs at all hours of the night so you do hear the train horn quite frequently. Definitely would stay again if ever back this way.

We had a great stay, the property was adequate and gave us plenty of options for cooking meals. The host was very responsive when we had questions.
5.0
I booked this place for my birthday. And it was literally amazing. We fell in love as soon as we walked in the door. But due to it being cold, raining and windy we didn’t have the ability to use the patio. Oh and the back yard is so big. Even being near the train track it really didn’t bother us. I most definitely would book again.
5.0
We stayed here for a friends Bachelorette! The host was super accommodating with our check in so we didn’t have to carry luggage around with us everywhere. The place was super clean and the neighborhood was pretty close to food and bars in park circle. There is a train that runs right behind the backyard as stated in the listing but other than that everything was perfect!!
5.0
The house was just as expected it was very comfortable and very clean we had a great time
2.5
Would rent again! The house suited our needs for the Thanksgiving holiday with our family. The train noise was a small inconvenience. But the fireplace and fenced yard was a plus. Thanks. Needs better front walkway lighting.
2.5
A fabulous place to get away with family with plenty of space and the comforts of home. We found the home clean, comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again!
2.5
It was a perfect stay for our seven person bachelorette party. Plenty of room and it was in a nice area. The neighbors were also nice. Would definitely stay here again!
2.5
The property was exactly as described. It was clean and had a tastefully updated interior. We were a group of 3 families (7 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 child) and there was plenty of room to accommodate us without being on top of each other. Short walk to Park Circle's entertainment district and only a10 to 15 minute drive to downtown historical Charleston. AJ was a very attentive host and quick to answer any questions. When we arrived I noticed the fuel tank for the gas grill was empty and he brought by a new tank promptly.
2.5
We have a great time staying at AJ's home! It is so well decorated and the kitchen is fantastic! We would like to stay here again on a return trip!
2.5
This house was great! 7 of us stayed comfortably! The bathrooms were amazing, the beds were comfy and anything that we had questions about the owner took care of in a timely fashion. Cant think of any complaints! Easy location to get to all things Charleston! Highly recommend this property!

My family and stayed at the house fir a week, we had a great time, the house was spacious and very clean. It had all the amenities we needed. The property owner AJ was available and responsive to all our needs. He is knowledgeable about events and places to visit.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, you will get an awesome house and a gracious host.

Everything was set up beautiful. It had most everything you could need. Beds very comfortable incredibly hit water and 2 awesome showers. Train was a little nerve wracking the first night then after almost didn't notice. Very close to area of interest.
5.0
The house was great! Everything was nice and clean and accommodated our group very nicely. AJ was a great host and responded very timely to any of our questions. We were a short drive from the beach and downtown areas. Our only complaint would be the "activeness" of the train tracks behind the house. Most of us brought sound machines and it wasn't a huge deal. Overall, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
5.0
This property is a beauty! If you are looking for a space close to N. Charleston and Downtown this is a great place to stay. Be warned there is a train that runs very close to the property but after the 2nd day you get use to the sound. Overall would definitely stay here again.
