Very nice week in that hotel. The view is astonishing and the staff was very nice with us. It s really a perfect spot if you want to avoid the usual crowd of Positano and Amalfi and get the best view of the Amalfi coast. We strongly recommend it.
Some downs, no coffee machine in the bed rooms, beds could be updated, breakfast could be better, particularly the coffee and fruits. they do weddings every day and that limits the ability to eat at the hotel, it’s possible though but you’ll feel that they are making you a favour and will not have access to full menu. You could expect better from a 4 stars hotel. But fortunately there is a very good restaurant next to the hotel, very large and open all the time.

We were so happy with our room. The balcony was huge with amazing views. The staff was very nice. The only complaint I had was the bed was not very soft and the pillows were a little flat. Other than that we would highly recommend this hotel. It was beautiful!

What a gem this hotel turned out to be! Can never forget beautiful views into the Mediterranean sea right from my room’s balcony: one can sit and enjoy the tranquility as the Sun goes down. The bed was comfortable, had a TV with English programs, a nice bathroom with a hair dryer.
People at the reception, staff, are very sweet and warm hearted. Even when I had to leave early morning on both days (before 0630am), they made sure I got a coffee and a cornetto-when full breakfast starts only at 0800am.
There is a long winding window-less corridor to walk to get to your room-that’s the only discomfort-but it vanishes once you open your room and its balcony.
Agerola is an hour long journey from Amalfi by bus + add waiting time for the bus. But the pocket friendly tariff, spectacular views and genuine hospitality at this hotel is simply worth it. I am recommending it to anyone going to Amalfi. Just too good.

This hotel is decadent, there is no other word for it. The staff barely speaks English, which made asking questions very difficult. The owner is always there (there are pictures of him on the walls), but never smilling. The room doesn't seem clean due to old furniture, stained walls, outdated decor. The bathroom doesn't have a window and very little light. Hairdryer is one of those vacuums attached to the wall. Shower is small and fills up with water. Walls are so thin we can hear the neighbours flushing and spitting during the night.
Bed was quite hard (which we liked), but pillows were absolutely terrible quality. 2 plugs in the entire room, one of which was of difficult access. Phone doesn't work/not indicated how to call reception. Balcony with an amazing view (only thing that we liked). Hallways in front of elevator smell like cigarette the entire time. Breakfast is absolutely terrible - a weird buffet with food that I didn't quite dare touch. They served cold cuts, boiled eggs, jam and butter, basically. Machine for coffee etc, no real milk and no one to ask for it. Decor on this "restaurant" absolutely decadent too, looking dirty. Only person you see at breakfast is a guy who comes near you and says "number room?" and then leaves. We weren't given any recommendations for restaurants and found only 2 nearby. Both very average, but other options are too far for the night. At least there was free parking.

Rooms not maintained, dirty linens. Not going back

our time immensely. The location was perfect and the view of the cost truly enhanced our experience. We look forward to stay here again in the future.

The views are the best part of this hotel panoramic views amazing. The rooms are a little out dated and the staff was not the friendliest they were okay. They do offer breakfast which was convenient. The small town is cute but not too much to do.

I can really recommend this hotel. The staff were fantastic and the view is magnificent, the food as well.

Older property, breakfast was poor and not a lot of staff. Not terrible but wouldn’t stay here again if I am in the area or if there weren’t other options.

Amazing staff! I am Definitely coming back

Location has stunning views of the sea and communities below. However to drive to Amalfi or Positano takes 45 min to 1.5 hrs because of the location. A bus can be taken. Loved the historic setting and decorations.

It was the very last top stop on the bus on top of the highest hill. It took over an hour. Which is very whiny. I got very sick and nauseous from the bus ride up and down. Although it is a great view from this location if you get a balcony view room. The shower was the size of a cruise shower. Extremely small. We did notice mold in the shower which my husband kept cleaning when entered shower. It would come off easy if maids too time to clean. The hotel is popular with wedding events. We noticed fireworks next to our hotel. Later realized there is a castle next door with wedding events as well. The good news is the hotel is in an adorable little town with great restaurants and shopping. Our favorite meal was accross from hotel at Leonardo’s. With an amazing view. Excellent 4 cheese pizza! Great food at great prices. Highly recommend. Bought bus tickets to go below hill to Amalfi in local shop. Tickets any where is only 2 euros Make sure to bring Dramamine if you get motion sickness for bus ride. The best part is you can’t get lost. Amalfi is the last bus and the hotel is the last stop up. Easy to find hotel. Other hotels are not convenient on hill. Nothing around them. This one is best for price. Breakfast has an awesom view . Beware they don’t tell you that you can order eggs any style for free. We didn’t know until we hear another couple ask for scrambled eggs. Otherwise there are boiled eggs available. The plus was a toaster for bread Most hotels didn’t have a toaster

This is the second time we stay in this hotel, and we loved it!
Agerola is a beautiful town, quiet, friendly with a lot of dining options, stores and transportation to Napoli and Amalfi.
The hotel offers rooms with a breath taking view! The room, bathroom, sheets and towels were clean, they offer laundry services too, breakfast is good, maybe can improve giving more options but is still delicious and fresh, staff is very friendly too.
We can't wait to go back to Agerola and this hotel!

The view could not be beat! It was simply stunning from the balcony and breakfast room. also easy access to Amalfi and Positano (by car). Would definitely return!

Breathtaking views and great hotel, but it’s a little far from
Positano or Amalfi!

Stunning views and very nice staff. The area was very cute, with 2-3 restaurants close by. Rooms with balconies enjoy exquisite views of the amalfi coast.

Rooms are outdated and dirty (hair in the bathroom, dirty towel in the wardrobe, cigarette burns on bed sheets, dirty bath mat, etc). Breakfast was poor, with a limited selection and poor quality (food and coffee). The only good thing this hotel has is the breathtaking view from the rooms. How this hotel is a 4 stars is beyond me.

A very quiet place to stay. The restaurant across the street had great food. The young girl, Katie?, at the front desk was lovely. She made me a Spritz to have while I sat with the view. She also helped me with the ants that came into my room from the air conditioner. The breakfast was good. Lots to choose from. Lacking in the caffe experience.
The man at the desk during check out charged me more for my additional costs.
They are more about making money than the customer experience.
I will not be staying here again.

Hotel was perched high above ocean with exquisite views. Property conditions were very good; beautiful setting and property. Pepe and staff were so kind and helpful. Even presented a thoughtful welcome gift as staff was aware of our journey to hotel late at night.
The immediate town provided an opportunity to immerse in the local culture. Extremely impressed with young folks employed in markets, sores and restaurants. So clean cut and friendly; refreshing to experience. Also we visited in August and experienced the local celebrations in the immediate community. My wife really enjoyed this place and she is extremely picky.

What a great stay here, the view was absolutely spectacular, I have stayed at many hotels and different countries but this was the best hotel view I have ever seen, it’s quite breathtaking. The breakfast was lovey, staff were very friendly and nice, and Agerola is a great town, not too over run with tourists like other parts of the Almafi but not hard to get around. Highly recommended!

Very good and the best view

Great views, extremely friendly staff. In a very good location easy to walk to the town center and restaurants. The building is a bit old and rooms need some level of renovation. Breakfast can be a bit better, at least some tomatoes or olives and cheese vs all sweet and carbonhydrates.

Lovely hotel, great staff, delicious breakfast, and what a view from the balcony!

As far as I could tell, there was only two things that could be better at this location;
Pool would make it a 10/10 place.
There’s two paths leading down to the sea, takes 30-35mins to get there. One of the paths however was closed due to damage?!
The other one was rather hard for a 10 year old to conquer..
Beautiful place, lovely people, glorious village erc

5 star view but definitely not a 4 star hotel. One hour busy bus drive to the beach.

Amazing stay. The hotel is classic in the grand style with breath-taking views, the premises are clean, the staff is professional and they care about your satisfaction.

Gorgeous view of the ocean from the top of the cliff, one of a kind, like you staying where the sky meets the sea. Great food a la carte.
Good location to catch a bus to Amalfi or Naples.
Was not crazy about the all inclusive breakfast. Would be nice to see some freshly squeezed orange or lemon juice and more fruits and vegetables as part of it.
