Watch the fishing boats, whales, and jumping rays from your private balcony in this luxurious condo on the white sandy beach of Los Barriles. Relax around the pool, lounge at the swim up bar, enjoy the on site pickle ball courts and visit the small town's several restaurants and shops or eat at one of the two excellent restaurants on the property. You will appreciate the privacy of your end unit, away from the busy hotel and restaurant, with its balcony separated from others. The condo is located inside a guarded, gated property with 24 security for your comfort.

You can also walk to the fully stocked larger grocery store a block away and cook your own meal in the condo's kitchen if you prefer. The full-sized refrigerator will hold all the food you want. Pots, pans, utensils (including new knives), coffee maker, toaster, blender and more are there for you to use. The marble counters are beautiful and easy to clean.

The bathroom is full sized with marble and tiles and a walk-in shower. We have soap and shampoo to get you started and a hair dryer if you need it. There is an outdoor shower at the beach to get the sand off after your refreshing dip in the Sea of Cortez. or a walk on the beach.

There is a smart TV in the cabinet (no cable TV) with free wireless internet provided. There is also wireless internet around the property, chaise lounge chairs around the common area near the pools with umbrellas to ward off the sun if you wish.

The adjoining hotel has other attractions including a day spa (get a massage!), sports fishing - some of the best in the world -a tennis court and can arrange for all sorts of water sports activities. There is a driving range and nine hole golf course and the condo comes with putting clubs and balls.

Nearby is the Vela windsport center where you can take kite surfing, wing foiling and windsurfing lessons and rent gear. They also have a pickleball court. There are other kite and wing foiling centers in town. ATVs can be rented for desert explorations. There are excellent mountain bike trails for experienced riders close by the condo - no bike rack required.

During less windy months (May-September) there is still plenty to do and explore in town and nearby. Cabo Pulmo to the south is famous for scuba and snorkeling. Punta Pescadaro has an airstrip and is a great spot for brunch after an ATV excursion up the coast. San Bartolo has a great ice cream shop. There is always something to do!

We loved our stay at Steve’s condominium: it was clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything you would need. You can walk along the beach as far as you want but the beach right below the condo is great for swimming, kayaking or just relaxing. We watched amazing sunrises every morning right from the balcony. There is a nice restaurant and bar right in front of the condominium building , and many more restaurants and taquerias within a walking distance.

10/10 stay! Cute, clean & well stocked. Communication with the owner & the check in/ check out process was stellar. Pedro the property manager was present & helpful when needed. Water purification system was a huge plus. Enjoyed sunrises from the balcony & snorkeling from the private beach area. Evenings at the pool & swim up bar. Steve the owner provided lots of local restaurant tips and info.

This is one of the better condos in Los Barriles. Not one problem came up during our stay and provided everything we needed. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

**Review for VRBO Stay in Los Barriles** Our stay in Los Barriles was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The condo was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The host's communication was excellent, always friendly and prompt in responding to our questions. We truly felt taken care of throughout our stay. We would definitely book this condo again in the future. Highly recommend!

We have nothing but amazing things to say about this condo and the experience we had in Los Barriles! Unfortunately we traveled at a bad time and we couldn’t leave on our original departure date due to Hurricane Hillary… but would’ve had it any other way! Luckily this area didn’t get hit too hard, but Steve was so accommodating to us staying an extra 2 unplanned nights. The condo itself has everything you’ll need, the bed is very comfortable and the view from the balcony is amazing! When we revisit we will without a doubt book with Steve again! Thank you for the wonderful experience, we appreciate you!

We had our 10th trip to celebrate our 25th anniversary and family and friends also stayed at the villas. The trip was perfect and so was Los Barriles, still small quaint friendly town….we LOVE that!

My wife and I made last minute reservations at the Villas at the Las Palmas resort in Los Barriles. We typically plan our trip well in advance and stay at one of the one-bedroom suites. Initially, we were concerned that the suite would be too small and lack the comfort of the larger units. We were extremely pleased with the accommodations and would go back in an instant. The unit is in great condition, the internet wi-fi/TV/AC all in great working order. Definitely give this a big thumbs-up!

Love the location and the complex. Short walk to most restaurants. We stopped at the grocery store going into town. We ate out every dinner. Drinks at the swim up bar. Early morning walks in town or on the beach. My uncle drove us there then we took the bus back to La Paz. The area and beach much nicer in person. Pictures online do not do this area justice. Communication was very good with the owner. Mattress comfortable. I hope to go back someday.

This condo is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy all the Los Barriles has to offer. The only thing we didn’t realize when booking it is that there is a daily usage fee to the connected Hotel Palmas de Cortez. Fortunately, the rest of our party was staying at the hotel so they waived it for us:) It wouldn’t have been a decision changer for us when booking but just nice to know so we weren’t caught off guard when the security guard approached us at the pool😬 Steve, the owner, was awesome to work with. He made the process very easy and was quick to respond to any inquiries I had before & during our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!!

Perfect location for an East Cape stay. The condo is attractive, clean, well stocked, sound proof, and the views cannot be beat! Friendly neighbors and staff, and we loved that we could walk to town and dining either by road or beach. Thanks for sharing your place. We would love to return.

We had a wonderful time! We had just had our wedding in another part of Mexico, and after all of the festivities, it was so nice to have relaxing place to unwind. The owner was so pleasant and kind, and we always received prompt responses when we had questions. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and looked exactly like what was pictured. We couldn't have asked for better : )

This was a much anticipated trip after unplanned cancellations of which Don was incredibly understanding. It was well worth the wait! Don's condo was the perfect base for daily adventures and afternoon relaxation by the pool. Amazing ocean views!!! Great location within walking distance to town. I wouldn't even bother veering from any of his highlighted suggestions-he was spot on with restaurant recommendations and all provided details. We can't wait to return except next time will definitely be longer!! (Only very minor suggestion would be to perhaps keep a beach umbrella and extra beach towels available) Thank you Don!

Great end unit in the condo complex next to the main hotel. Perfect location in the heart of town and walking distance to most everything. Very nice to have a pool and restaurant on site and also have access to the hotel amenities. Unit was very well equipped and the owner was very responsive.

Great condo, nicest people ever, Property manager is amazing. Right there to help with everything. Owner is communicative, helpful and great to rent from. COming back to Los Barriles and hopefully this perfectly located condo. End unit no one on the right of you. Staight out gorgeous views. Good restaurant onsite for those nights you just don't feel like going out. Everything you could need is there.

We absolutely loved where we stayed. The Sea of Cortez sunrises are fabulous. the property we stayed at was perfect location. This was our first time to this location and we would definitely return however would prefer a 1st floor for ease of access to the coutyard area.

We loved our stay in this beautiful ocean-view condo in the easy-going town of Los Barriles. The condo is just as pictured, if not better. The bed is comfortable, the view is fantastic, and the location on the end of the complex is quiet and private. Don is an attentive and helpful owner, and the neighbors and condo manager were great. We'll be back!

So nice and tranquil , very easy going no stress atmosphere. The streets are fun to go explore the bar is casual like a Jimmy Buffet song. Fishing was excellent and even brought back 40 lbs. of Tuna!

What an awesome property. The condo was ideal and being on the end was so private. The views from the condo were spectacular. The condo was decorated so cute and very comfy bed and huge shower ! It is an ideal getaway for water activities , four wheeling and fishing is superb. Don was very accessible and gave us so much good advice. We hope to rent this condo from him again soon. This was our first time at a VRBO, and let's say it didn't disappoint. Don was available to answer every question and the condo was amazing. Awesome views, extremely quiet and anything you'd need was steps away. The food at the restaurants just outside the complex is to die for and the prices will blow you away. The locals are very friendly as well. Overall this was a great experience and we look forward to going back very soon!
