Escape to the ultimate beachfront retreat at Hamaka, a fully equipped condo recently renovated to offer the perfect private beach escape with easy walking distance access to restaurants, bars, and nightly entertainment in Simpson Bay, Saint-Martin.
Experience waking up to the sound of the waves and having your morning drink to the sight of the endless shades of the ocean. At the end of your day, unwind and enjoy the magnificent sunsets that this beautiful island has to offer.
With a spacious bedroom featuring a king-size bed and Japanese aesthetic, a spa-like bathroom, and a living space with a sitting area and a breakfast bar open to a full kitchen, Hamaka offers the perfect blend of luxury and comfort.
Step outside and relax in the outdoor lounge spaces, right on the beach, where you can fully immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere and refreshing sea breeze.
Simpson Bay is the heart of the touristic activities in Sint Maarten, a few minutes away from the Airport and the famous Maho Beach. Within walking distance, you will find many international restaurants, bars with live music, casinos, shops, and activities. With the marina close by, you are in the best place to enjoy boating events such as the Heineken Regatta. Simpson Bay Beach is a great snorkeling place with the reef and clear turquoise waters. Have a walk on the long strech of sand in the morning and enjoy the sunset in the evening!
At Saint Martin Rentals, our staff is dedicated to making your stay the best as possible. Once you book, you will receive a welcome book with property information, recommendations and list of activities you can book with your concierge.
Note:
When you book, VRBO will charge you their service fee. Then we will receive your booking and we will proceed to the payment of the rental + taxes on the same credit card. A credit card hold of $300 will be made on your card the day before check-in for security deposit. This amount will not be debited from your account unless there are damages.
Please note our upstairs neighbor has a right of way on our terrace to reach the beach.
- Guest will receive an itinerary to the property and entrance code for self check-in. Check-in time begins at 4.00pm (3.00 PM for saintmartinrentals.com clients), unless otherwise specified. Guest will report any dissatisfaction within the first 24 hours. Check-out time is 11.00am latest, unless specified otherwise. Please make sure you take all your belongings with you.
- The maximum occupancy is 3 persons. Please advise if you go above maximum occupancy (event fee may apply).
- Sorry, no pets are allowed.
- No smoking is allowed indoors. A cleaning fee of minimum $400 up to $1500 will be charged if house has be treated for smoke doors.
- Malfunctioning equipment or issues must be reported immediately. The repairman may enter the premises for purposes related to the repair or maintenance of the property.
- Internet, phone, cable, water, and electricity are managed by third providers. Saint Martin Rentals will not be held liable in case of shortages in service. If a problem occurs, it will promptly be reported to the provider. no refunds or adjustments will be made.
- Each guest will be jointly financially responsible for negligent and malicious/intentional damage done to the property. Guest(s) shall be responsible for the costs of replacing lost keys. There will be a minimum charge of $350 for lost keys.
- Saint Martin Rentals will not be held liable for forgotten objects or items left on site and will not beat the cost of eventual return.
- Parties are not allowed on premises, unless agreed with property manager. A FINE OF $700 will be charged to Guest Credit Card in case of party not approved or excessive noise after 9:30 PM. Please be considerate of the neighbors, do not make excessive noise during the night.
- Our upstairs neighbor has a right of way through our terrace to the beach, please allow them passage (they have the key).
- Please use caution to enter the ocean. It is strictly forbidden to jump from the terrace into the water.

We reserved the entire month of July. After a couple of days of multiple power blackouts per day (each blackout lasting up to 10 hours) we decided we had to leave. Beyond it being extremely uncomfortable the lack of electricity made simple things like preparing meals and keeping things from spoiling was almost impossible. This represented a serious risk.
The earliest available flight back to the states that we could book required us to stay 7 days. Thus we had to endure a week of this.
This was not the only problem we had with this property. The beach in front of the property we were renting was dangerous, unattractive and had a bad odor. There were many large sharp life-threatening pieces of metal on the beach. When we asked the property manager to send someone to remove the metal and clean the beach, they refused saying the beach is not their responsibility. The back deck is ant infested. When sitting on a chair on the back deck you will soon have ants crawling on you.

Enjoyed our time in this VRBO. The management was responsive and the location was close to everything. Being able to wake up and be on the beach was awesome. Good food close by as well. Really enjoyed ourselves hopefully we can come back again
