Beautiful old building, old world style, huge bedroom and a piano player serenading us at breakfast made it all stand out.

Incredible setting, magical atmosphere. Beautiful interior. Nice live music in the restaurant. Friendly staff.

This is an incredible, elegant, historic mansion! We enjoyed our stay here. The architecture is wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, but the staff will take care of your luggage. After all, this was built in the 1700s! Our room was was spacious and elegant. The location in the Centro Histórico is very good and within walking distance of the main sites. The restaurant serves delicious Mexican food and a fine pianist provides live music.

big romantic room and balcony, comfortable beds. Historic and beautiful hotel. Staff was good but two mornings and full day with NO HOT water! Staff response disappointing. Also had to argue about discount for food on reservations. Restaurant was well below par.

Great location, and service was very good.

The property is very unique (old mansion). It’s well located in the historic center. The bedding was very tired, old. The sheets didn’t fit the bed. Didn’t want to touch the bedspread. It was fine overall but wished I had booked somewhere else.

Drop-dead gorgeous property with amazingly beautiful rooms in a great location. After a tense encounter with a clerk who insisted a double bed was a king bed, we got our “upgrade” to a nicer room with an actual king bed, which is what we had reserved in the first place. Food discount doesn’t apply because the restaurant is conveniently not connected with the hotel.

The ac was not working and the room felt like an oven. They couldn’t find the key to my room. The manager was very unfriendly The receptionist was trying but the manager didn’t want to help

Wonderful ambiance for the hotel and friendly managers. It is an old building and the electricity did go out for one hour but was restored and no further issues The front desk could be a little more helpful and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning with live piano music was fantastic!

Some of the worst service I may have ever had. They overcharged me and then told me they had actually charged some other guest on their credit card. We paid over $300 USD for a suite and when we arrived the jacuzzi was filthy. Then they tell us that there's an event and it's going to be loud - until 3 am. It's 11 pm now and the building is rattling. On top of that they make it seem like they're doing you a favour by letting you stay here. oh and the TV doesn't work.

First time in Queretaro, traveled with family, the hotel was beautiful, clean, staff very friendly, the hotel is in the middle of everything, easy to walk to several parks, churches. We loved our stay at La Casa de la Marquesa, Highly recommend.

The place is charming, friendly, and accommodating staff.
I was surprised by the number of stairs we climbed to get to our room. The bathroom had several steps and you needed to be careful. The huge bathtub was difficult to get into without slipping.

Great location in a very unique historical house. Very dark with no amenities available in the evening. Lacking on attention to details. Only one towel was provided, no tv channels were accessible, broken hair dryer. Great potential for a fantastic experience.

This is a five star if there ever was one. Beautiful place with a great number of balconies and private areas. Would be a great place for a group. Beautiful views high on the hill so does require cab ride up. Well worth the view

Loved the character of this place, I felt like I was a guest of the contessa hundreds of years ago. The architecture, frescos, tiles etc are all still so authentic. It was wonderful

Absolutely beautiful property in a great location. I highly recommend it.

Pictures are deceiving. The building is beautiful as a museum but not as a hotel. No amenities, not even glasses or wash towels in the room. AC is extremely noisy, with poor lighting everywhere. Old towels and mosquitoes. We left a day earlier. The only two guys there were really nice but the management is another story.
On top of that, the place is really spooky.

I wasn’t able to check in on time. The room wasn’t ready until 3:30. The included breakfast was very minimal. I paid extra for a better breakfast.

Beautiful spot but lacking in customer service, and poor included breakfast. Good wifi but mattress very hard.
