What a cool place to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. The view of Gay Street was awesome, and it was great having so many places to shop and dine nearby. The open layout of the apartment was so nice, and the decor was so cute! Love the Dolly theme. We had fun using the record player and the pool table as well. We definitely would return.

We’ve stayed at VRBOs for years in many locations but I’m not sure I’ve ever given this level of review. The location, quality of the apartment, service from the owner, and overall value were just top notch. We loved it and were blown away at the little touches the owner left for guests. You just don’t see this in other rentals! And again, the location was excellent. My wife and I completely loved walking to the downtown Knoxville hot restaurants and bars while the teenagers in our party couldn’t get over how close we were to everything.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday with friends. It was the perfect location and allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Would highly recommend this location. While above a restaurant and bar, it is not nearly as loud as some of the locations near market square.

This loft had everything you need, a great atmosphere, convenient location and easy access to everything we were looking for this weekend. A short walk to the stadium, great food around and easy parking.

This place was perfect, it was clean and in a great location to food and night life. Had a little trouble getting in at first but the owner walked us through it and was in in no time. The Dolly Parton pictures was what sold me .Would definitely stay here again when in Knoxville.

My friends and I stayed here the first weekend in May and it was exactly what we were looking for! Before even arriving we started calling it ‘the Instagram flat’ because it’s so well styled. It’s exactly like the photos, does not disappoint! Clean. Large. Central location. We walked to breakfast, coffee, lunch, shopping, rooftop happy hours, and two fantastic dinners.
The owner, Halie, was super helpful. She answered my parking questions in detail before we even booked the place. When we had a wifi question she replied with the fix within minutes. Which was impressive on its own, but we later learned that she was in the hospital at the time!
Two small items of note…
1) It is above a bar, which it does state in the listing. It wasn’t a huge deal, as my group had discussed it ahead of the trip and agreed we were down for it. But I’ll note, it’s a karaoke bar. So if you attempt to sleep before bar time you’ll be too busy laughing your butt off at random terrible off key singers. You can hear basically every word. Night two we decided to lean in it and went down to check it out. Very fun vibe.
2) This one is just me, my friends didn’t seem to care at all. But I’m an always aware of my surroundings traveler. From the time we checked in, and every time we went in and out of the entryway that is inside of the bar patio area, it felt like someone was saying “Oh they are staying at the rental upstairs”, “They must be staying at Halie’s place”, “Isn’t the flat so cute? I’ve stayed there a few nights.”, and other variations of “Are you guys renting Halie’s place?” For me, I didn’t like everyone around knowing that we were tourist and where we were staying. It made me feel like we were a sitting ducks for potential crime. In retrospect these were just friends and acquaintances of Halie, but it rubbed me the wrong way that everyone knew who we were.
That said, would 100% stay here again! Would recommend. Amazing host! Clean, beautiful property!

We are a family of four with a HS senior and adult son. The place is perfectly located downtown Gay St. My son was participating in a competition at the convention center. I felt totally comfortable with him walking to and from while the rest of us explored Knoxville. As the owner advises, it is LOUD on the weekend with the bar downstairs. We were up anyway playing games/watching movies and went downstairs to check out the fun. It would probably not work for a young family with little ones on a weekend. With AirPods ( and the owner provides ear plugs😊) .. it was fine and fun! The place is decorated beautifully with a lovely homage to Knoxville and Dolly.. The amenities were more luxurious than expected.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was squeaky clean, the beds were comfortable, there were clean towels, and the place is beautifully decorated. This place is conveniently located in downtown so my friends and I were able to make short walks to explore. I would 100% stay here again.
The only side note is that it can get a bit noisy (because it’s obviously the city) but they leave earbuds out for use. I love that! Great stay.
