425 KaMilo was so beautiful, comfortable, welcoming and exceptionally clean. It was far better than a home away from home. The layout was perfect for our eight and truly relaxing; everyone just felt totally laid-back and carefree. The entire complex had many amenities that we took advantage of, or we just chilled at home enjoying the breezy winds blowing through the palm trees. Our host, Burt, quickly answered the few questions we had. The location was great as a midway point for exploring the island and everything there was to do. Thank you vrbo and Better Homes and Garden Real Estate for posting it.

The house had everything we needed for hosting 9 people for 13 days. Easy to check in and easy check out. Garage was loaded with equipment and the Mauni Lani Beach Club was perfect for the kids.

This condo was perfect for our family trip (6 adults, 3 kids). It was in an excellent location with access to a nice pool, and a fantastic beach club within a 5 min drive. It is also in proximity to lots of great shopping and resorts. The garage is FULLY LOADED with all the equipment you need for beach days and snorkeling. Tons of space and stocked with everything needed to cook, bbq, and enjoy family meals together.

We thought our time at our VRBO on the big island was exceptional for our extended family of 9. Everyone enjoyed the comfortable beds, the generous kitchen space with plenty of dishes and utensils, exceptional eating areas, and comfortable seating. Our favorite spot was the lanai where we gathered every morning for coffee and in the evenings for conversations about our busy days. The gated community was very beautifully landscaped and quiet. We settled into a routine of beach time in the mornings and pool time in the afternoons. We were so excited about being in Hawaii that our first full day we arrived at 8 am at the Beach Club, and were able to grab perfect beach loungers. Everyone appreciated the water toys in the garage: snorkels, life vests, beach chairs, umbrellas, pails and shovels, and the bikes too. There were excellent conveniences nearby, including restaurants, a grocery store, T-shirt stores, and a shaved ice spot that was our newest favorite treat! We also spent a lot of family time walking/hiking in the area discovering beaches, spots for viewing the sunsets, historic fishing ponds, petroglyphs, and discovering new plants, birds, and animals. This was the perfect "base" for a wonderful family vacation on the big island of Hawaii.

My family (8 adults and a 2 year old) recently stayed at this property for 10 days. I can’t say enough positive things about the property and it led to the perfect Hawaii vacation for my family!
The home was beautifully kept and had plenty of space for all of us including some evenings when my sisters family (2 adults, 2 kids) joined us for dinner. We were familiar with the Mauna Lani property prior to our stay and have no complaints regarding location and proximity to things.
The pool was close by and the private beach club was perfect for my 2 year old to play on the beach and in the water. The beach is in a nice protected bay and is also a great spot for snorkeling. Another great perk for this property was all of the beach gear in the garage. There was plenty of snorkel gear for all of us. I really appreciated all of the amenities for my toddler including a pack n play, high chair, life jacket, and beach toys. We didn’t need to rent anything extra for her while on our trip.
Burt was very responsive to questions prior to our trip. We didn’t need anything during our stay but Burt was in contact several times to check in and ensure that he was available if need be.
We will definitely look to stay here again in the future.
Thank you Burt and your team for helping us have such an amazing vacation.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures. The great room with the fully retractable sliding door to the lanai was an incredible place for the entire family to spend time together. The garage was fully stocked with recreational gear. We had an incredible time.

We stayed here for a week in March with 6 adults and 2 children. The house was clean and had great extras like sunscreen, olive oil, coffee, sugar as well as a nice welcome gift from Burt. The location is a short walk to the pool area and the we frequently took the wagon with garage gear. We used the beach club access one afternoon and loved it. Do bring water shoes as the lava stones in the water can be a bit rough. The beach club staff were great and you can eat there or order drinks for the beach. The cabanas and beach chairs are first come, first serve. This property has several chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and a few sets of snorkel gear (in ok repair). We didn’t need to buy any equipment beyond what was provided. We loved using the bikes (4 adults, 1 kid (age 6-11 size). We ate in several meals and food land has a hot and cold food bar for quick meals.
Side note: Using the bike pump was a bit tricky but a google search explained that it’s opposite what you normally do. Put the pump attachment over the bike tire stem and pull the clamp up. You’ll know it’s latched correctly when the psi adjusts on the gauge. I only tell you this because even my mechanic dad was a bit stumped by the design, we enjoyed riding the bikes around the complex and to nearby resort areas.
AC: all windows and doors must be closed for it to function. Then it works great.
Steps - to upper lanai - watch the extra lip to avoid tripping. Bottom of first staircase step gets hard to see.

Perfect VRBO - Great layout and is well-appointed. We had 2 kids under 4 and grandparents with us and the space was perfect for us all. Access to the beach club and pools (which is a 3 min walk) were great. The garage was filled with everything you needed. And location was excellent. Would love to come again!

We were a party of 6 adults assembling for a holiday getaway. The home and the location were perfect for everyone. Easy access to great amenities, the beach, restaurants, and golf. We had a great time riding bikes, walking, playing pickleball, and hanging out at the house. The home is beautiful, private, well-maintained and designed. Each couple had a king-size bed and private bath. Beautiful great room & kitchen that opened onto the lanai. The kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of beach chairs, towels, boogie boards to use. Burt and Krish were easy to communicate with and responsive. One of the nicest properties we have booked.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this property and loved it! The rooms were great, the bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels, the kitchen was quite well appointed with most of the things you might need to make your own meals. The location was great, close to most of the things we wanted to do, and the amenities were very nice. Would absolutely stay here again.

We are a family of 9 (ages 5 mos-72yr) and this home had more than enough space for all of us to be comfortable. The common spaces were large and the large lanai was perfect for early mornings and outdoor dinners. The kitchen was well stocked with every piece of equipment we could ever need, as well as some basic cooking supplies. The rooms were large and comfortable and the amenities were excellent. The kids loved the pool and the beach club (and the very well-stocked garage!). Only complaints are the dishwasher was a little unstable and the beds were too soft for our liking, but that’s just personal preference. Would definitely recommend this home!

Booked the house for 6 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room and very kid friendly (18 month old). House was immaculate and very modern with amazing kitchen/living room area where we gathered for breakfast and dinners. It was a very short walk to the pool for the kids. The property beach was smallish, but never crowded. We were always able to find a cabana to setup and did our swimming/snorkeling.
The house was very well stocked with beach equipment with chairs, floats, coolers, and snorkel gear. The bikes also were a welcome addition to explore the area. The surrounding resort area was also nice with easy access to Foodland, coffee shop, and various restaurants.
Our entire family had a great time and look forward to coming back!

This is a great place to stay. Every detail is thought of. Great beach equipment made beach days easy. The kitchen is loaded with all the spices and tools you need. The bbq was perfect too. There is a ton of living space and big table for the whole family to hang out. Every room is spacious and the layout is perfect. Thx so much for a great stay!

This property has something for everyone! The isolated upstairs master bedroom was perfect for my dad. The three rooms downstairs were ideal for two couples and four kids. There was plenty of beach gear in the garage including snorkels, ice chests, and a wagon to transport it all. We went to the private beach a few times where we were able to practice our snorkeling skills and enjoy some tropical beverages from the bar! The kids (and adults) took out the bikes a few times and used the association pools and gym! A Foodland was conveniently located near the center of the community and we enjoyed the local taproom’s happy hour a couple times! We spent our evenings on the deck and playing cards on the huge dining table. We ate five of our seven dinners at home. The kitchen was roomy and had everything we needed including a regular coffee maker and Keurig. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend this property!

We had a very comfortable stay! The condo was spacious and well designed for our family of eight. The beds were very comfortable and our property managers, Burt and Krish, were very responsive to our inquiries and really great to work with. Adding a patio screen door would be a great improvement so you could keep the patio sliding glass doors open and keep the bugs out. Overall we enjoyed this rental immensely and highly recommend it.

Our family of 5 including 3 teen/college aged boys found this villa in Kamilo to be a great value. Clean, well provisioned, spacious with a bedroom for all. We were close to Foodland and not far from Mauna Lani Beach Club, the golf courses and pickleball courts. Property managers were friendly and responsive - even dropped by a new frying pan in the middle of our stay. Highly recommend.

This house is beautiful and perfect for a large group. The house really exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The photos do not do it justice. Every detail is taken care of and the host was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The house is also close to some of Konas most beautiful sand beaches.

This home was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with RH indoor and outdoor furniture. Amenities include fluffy bath towels, thick beach towels, adult and kid bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a built-in outdoor grill. Safe and quiet neighborhood, located close to the local Food Land, coffee and juice shops. The pool and hot tub were a close walk and the private beach was a short drive.
Burt was very friendly, responsive, and helpful before and during our stay. We can't wait to come back!
