This was our first stay with our 15 month old and she was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Ron is great and we are looking forward to coming back.

This was our third stay at the Elm and was just as enjoyable as the first two. Ron and Cheryl are awesome hosts and have thought of every amenity you would need. The wrap around front porch is one of our favorite places to sit and play cards and watch the birds and squirrels. The house is always very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked. It is very close to downtown also. Looking forward to our next visit!!

In-laws visited from Iowa and we wanted them to stay at a "home away from home" type house where they would feel comfortable staying. We could not have selected a more appropriate place. The owners are friends of ours and the most accommodating folks you will ever deal with. I highly recommend this house for your next stay in Statesville.

I had a wedding a few blocks away and had my 4 girls stay there. Really enjoyed the space. Super clean. We didn’t get to use the cool kitchen because we had food at my place but it is modern and user friendly. Great location for Statesville due to its proximity to downtown.

I was really impressed with the house. It was better than I expected--much nicer than any other I've stayed at. Everything was new and nice, while still retaining the old house charm. It was very close to downtown and restaurants. The house was fully furnished and stocked--and not with the usual hand-me-down type things you see in vrbo's. The towels were large and soft, the sheets and beds were comfortable, the dishes were nice and there was even pre-chilled glasses in the freezer for your drinks. They had extra supplies like tin foil, and coffee and creamers, and ketchup packs, and kitchen appliances like blenders and crock pots. I can't say enough about how nice it was. I chose this house because I wanted a historic house, and all of that charm--I was not disappointed. Beautiful original bricks, fireplaces, and original wood windows. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Great place!

We absolutely loved this house!! Its very well taking care of, loved all the little extras around the house. Really this is quite the gem. Sitting on the front porch with some friends having a glass of wine before they all left for home was wonderful.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!
We are already looking to come back to this house!
Thanks again
