This property is absolutely gorgeous. There are views of the lake from the upstairs, kitchen, living room, and back patio and yard. You can see Mount Rainier rising up beyond the tree line across the lake.
The yard is giant and the patio goes the length of the house. There’s a huge lawn with paths going down to the lake. The backyard is shaded with trees, which kept it a perfect temperature.
The kitchen had about everything. we really didn’t use the living room as the outside was so beautiful. There are French doors all along the backside of the house for easy access wherever you are.
We really appreciated the wheelchair accessibility. The ramp in the front of the house made it easy to get my elderly mother in the house. The downstairs bedroom had easy access to a bathroom with handles in the shower and by the toilet. It also had a little sitting area with a bed so I could sleep near her and keep an eye on her. When we had a problem with the Wi-Fi they sent someone else to fix it and didn’t give up and tell was taken care of. Great service.
There is not a dock, but there are places to moor your boat on the lake. we were surprised at the small amount of lake traffic boats on the lake even during a warm sunny weekend.
We loved it so much and really wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The listing does not do this place justice. The views of Ranier over the lake are stunning. My kids loved splashing in the lake on the little private rocky waterfront. I will dream of this house!

We recently stayed at this property while we were in town for a family funeral. The house and property were beautiful.
I appreciated the ramp in the front, it was very helpful for my elderly mom and aunt, plus rolling up our luggage to the front door. The large main bedroom and bath are on the main level which accommodated the three not able to do stairs. The three bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and accommodated the other five in our party. The upstairs bathroom was large and worked well for us. The half bath by the main living area worked great for easy access when we were in that part of the house.
The kitchen is well stocked and we found the built in cabinet separating the kitchen and dining room table to be very cleverly built. You can access dishes from both sides and had everything we needed including coasters, large coffee mugs and so much more!
The view outside was so beautiful! Most of the time the sky was clear enough to see Mt Rainier…what a sight to see. We had some local family stop by for visits and they loved walking down the path to the lake and took beautiful pictures.
Will definitely stay again! Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay. We absolutely loved it!!

This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.

This property is well laid out with plenty of room for a larger group to spread out (we were only a group of 4). Loved the patio outdoor area and down by the waterfront for an evening glass of wine. Close proximity to The Home Course and Chambers Bay.

We liked the yard and view of Mt. Rainer when the clouds cooperated. The family room had several glass doors that allowed a nice open room and view of outside. The bedrooms were spacious for what we needed. The bedroom suite downstairs was very nice, bath, sitting area private patio. Three bedrooms up stairs were good . The stairs could be tricky if you're not nimble. The one big negative for us was lack of dining places in walking distance. There was one taco restaurant and a convenience store within a mile or so.

This home is beautifully appointed and well stocked. The backyard is breathtaking. Magnificent view of the lake with Mount Ranier in the background. We spent hours watching the family of eagles in the trees at the edge of the property, along with other birds and squirrels. What a true gem this home is!

It was a beautiful home with an interesting layout and beautiful views on the water. We walked down to the waters edge and the kids were able to see ducks and fish. The yard is so large they were able to play a small football game. I would book again if we are in the area.

To stay here is like staying at your own lake house. They have everything you could think of to want or need. It is comfortable and eclectic and just a really cool house. The kitchen is fully stocked and a nice grill area. The back yard and patio area are supreme. You can’t ask for a more beautiful, peaceful yard with pleasing plantings and a majestic view of Rainier. When we were there an eagle was on the point each morning.

This beautiful property is one of the most unique locations I have ever stayed in. The main living space is a giant open room with kitchen, dining room and living room decorated with fantastic antique books and sports equipment. The kitchen is completely modern and was stocked with everything a foodie could possibly need. I have never stayed at a rental with a full-size kitchen-aid mixer, multiple toasters and blenders, sharp knives and enough place settings to feed 20 people.
The bedrooms and laundry are located what I would call the "original house". This section of the property appears to be from the early 1900's and had been faithfully maintained. It was so nice to be able to leave the hustle and bustle of the main living space and retire to a quiet space. The entire bottom floor is set up as a grand master bedroom and ensuite with an attached office/laundry room. Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms, one of which has an office workspace. This worked perfectly for us as a few people needed to work during our stay.
The outdoor space looked amazing, but due to the weather, we were unable to take advantage of the space.
We cannot wait until we can stay at the American Dream again
