great for kids
3.5
The activities offered at the lake are fantastic, boating, SUP, kayaking. The resort also offers lots to do - plenty BBQ facilities, tennis courts and 4 different pools meant we even had one to ourselves.
Unfortunately there are no catering options for lunch or dinner. There is coffee and a few basic items for breakfast. It's a pity as if you want to eat out you need to get in your car and drive somewhere else. Also, the townhouse we stayed in is very old and dated, needs a good paint and update, so check or ask for photos of your unit/accommodation before you arrive.

It was spacious and clean and had most of things you need for a stay when family will be eating most meals at home.
Carpet and bathrooms are a bit tired and old, but it was all very clean
4.5
It is a beautiful location. We enjoyed the heated pool and the bar and restaurant. Our kids really enjoyed the playground and pool. The little wharf and beach out the front of the resort was really lovely. We also travelled to Caves beach which wasn't far at all.

Loved the location, the resort facilities and the food. Perfect for young families.
Townhouse was very dated inside, the whole house creaked. The microwave smelt burnt. The kids playground ladder to the slide was completely corroded at the top on one side.

Heated pool, tennis courts and playground were heaps of fun.
The signage was difficult as we arrived after dark and the beds weren't the best but these aren't reasons that we will stop us returning.

The restaurant of this place is the highlight of the place, overlooking to the lake and mountains. We saw the best sunset, munching on the snacks and drinks.
Bathroom shower was not in a great condition and was falling often. There was no salt or pepper in the kitchen :( and staffs did not help to get some.

This was our second visit to Rafferty’s with our family. We love the lakeside location, multiple pools, onsite restaurant and comfortable accommodation.
Children’s play area was a bit tired looking, it may be in the process of being done up. It would be great if there were some more activities for the kids to do around the resort.

the location
that our car spot blocked the other neighbours spot so had to park on rd.I had also booked a cot which wasn’t there but was brought to unit after a phone call

the staff were so nice and they were the best part.
the ducks pooing in all the 3 out of 4 pools so much poo I wouldn’t let the kids swim in them. The heated pool was the only pool with no duck poo in the water but it was found around the poo. Our villa was very tired and worn with chipped furniture. The dryer would work properly, one of the toilets wouldn’t fill with water unless you wobbled the system’s lid upwards and the hot plates were insanely slow to heat up in the kitchen. We had no wifi but that’s on me for not checking. I just expected they’d be wifi available available. i wouldn’t let the kids run around the grassed area due to the amount of duck poo everywhere. it’s sad because the grounds where lovely.

All pools, especially heated pool. Location.
The room has a little mold smell. It's better clean condition than other hotels, motel or holiday park cabin but the room also has a mold smell.

The location was good. A mix of short stay accommodation and long term residents.
Facilities were good, access to the lake was convenient. Noise wasn't too bad. Living areas spacious and kitchen well equipped for self catering.
The layout was a little weird as the 2nd bathroom was a toilet and shower next to the kitchen and laundry, we were expecting the main bed to have an en suite but it was really just the main bathroom shared between both bed rooms.
Littke cockroaches got in every night, only 1 or 2 but kinda gross to think they were in crawling over the benches and all the stuff in the bathroom.
The place hadn't been cleaned the best, I think the cleaners just forgot to sweep our vacuum the kitchen and laundry.
The main pool at the resort had a significant duck problem, the pool had a fair amount of poo in and around it.

The setting only
Treetop unit 518 is so run down.Timber floorings lifting up & is so noisey to walk on in the whole downstairs area.Musky damp smell. Screens windows full of dust.Downpipe rusted & leaking due to leaf build up not being cleaned out.Outdoor settings needed cleaning before use.Paid $350.00 & night for 1⭐️rating unit.Avoid this resort not worth it.
Very sad because the resorts In a beautiful setting

The accommodation I stayed in had all the necessities. Great facilities with restaurant, bar, pools and tennis courts on site.
Noisy guests - wedding guests that were not considerate of other people at the resort. Quite loud at 1 - 2am in the morning

Outdated, fans did not work properly

the location and surroundings were beautiful.
we had to be moved as the house we stayed in smelt like dust and mould. there was spider webs everywhere around the roof and so much dust on the curtains and fans.
I asked to be moved and the curtains there were filthy and the air conditioning vent was so dirty and dusty.
unfortunately I won’t be going again.
the owners need to really take care of their properties.
staff were great and the general daily cleaning when we first moved in was ok.

The resort, beautiful
Not clean floor, and rooms need to be updated very old furniture.
0.5
Rooms were extremely outdated, room 403 and 404 (avoid at all costs). Paint peeling, 1990s furniture, AC took 2 hours to cool rooms, shower constantly leaked water and was very loud at night. Very bad odour from extremely old carpet.
3.5
Easy to get to.
Bistro stuff were very lovely and our group enjoyed a great dinner there in one of the nights.
Water activities and stuff running it were great.
The place we stayed in needs a facelift.
Television placed in an awkward position to lounge seating arrangement.
shower curtain old and stained with mould around the tub.
No clothes line or rack to hang washing.
Bistro only opened late two nights for dinner.
