A flat that has real luxury potential but that came up short this time.

High quality, well designed accommodation in a fabulous location. Spacious rooms, original parque flooring, well-equipped kitchen and superb shower. Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and with a panoramic tv.

The cheap, ill-fitting loo seat is a genuine health hazard to anyone with a back condition and, to be honest, just a little insulting (it had been refitted by someone incapable of performing the task). The mat outside the shower slid when trodden on to add further to the hazards... So easy to put right! 3 towels (2 large, 1 hand) between us was less than we are used to. Although not using the heating, the flat got very hot during a cool summer and we had to use the cooling fan both night and day despite relatively low temperatures (August '23) outside. There are no curtains in the living room which creates both privacy (it overlooks the town square) and sun glare issues. We requested access to the property a little before 4pm as we planned to go racing but this was dismissed. Disappointed not to find a couple of teabags and perhaps dishwasher tablets etc.

Location fantastic to explore central Ripon. We used the 3 museum pass and looked in Cathedral on a very wet weekend.

Keys not labelled- always getting it wrong. Can you buzz down to open the door? only one Key available.

Home Away From Home.

Centrally located, but quiet inside. Good view from the window, good mattress, good quilt, good toiletries & hand wash quality. Cling wrap in the kitchen 🙃 The owner welcomed us by the way the spacious room was decorated. Simple but warm. Next time we will stay longer at Ripon.

Very tiny things, the toilet seat need to be adjusted, it's a bit wobbly.

I would definitely recommend this property to friends & family

Was lovely and modern and comfortable and in a perfect location..everything you needed was provided,will definitely stay there again

The bed wasn’t the greatest I’m afraid but it wouldn’t stop me from staying again.. I think for the very light mornings the bedroom blind isn’t the best it really lights up the room very early which in turn wakes you up quite early..

Great base for exploring ripon with quality amenities

Excellent quality bathroom and kitchen with great fittings, nice spacious rooms with plenty of light, great location with nice views over the market square. Well maintained communal areas.

The bed was a little flimsy and the mattress was very thin and unsupportive. The toilet seat was a replacement and did not fit properly leading to dangerous shifting. Window covers in the living room would help with privacy and protection from the sun which was strong and quickly heated the apartment.

I would like to go back so recommended.

Hollie the host was supergood and VERY easy to communicate with. The aspect facing the market square was fantastic. The apartment was spacious. It had absolutely all you needed. The shower was BRILLIANT.

Nothing really. Not clear on how to control heating or whether you could as I think Hollie set it on a pre-determined timing. I was a little cold so important those staying have capacity to control. To access the keys in the car park just needs to mention how, after setting the code, you have to use the black toggle to the left to effectively unlock the compartment as I wasn't clear on that and I'm quite sure others might not be either. The microwave wasn't very straightforward and tbh I didn't know what I was doing. Sorry but it is one that merits some instructions. Not so crucial if you are not going to use it but I did.
