By far one of the best Vrbo we’ve stayed in! Super clean, beautiful lay out, had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and close to everything!

Very clean, nice fenced in yard, large driveway, spacious home that worked well for my family of five and 2 dogs. Owners were responsive but we had zero issues. I would definitely stay here again.

House was ideal for our stay. Last minute we decided to bring our dog. Was no issue with the owner. The fenced front yard was perfect for the dog.
Very charming house. Will look to stay there again for sure on future trips.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wildflower Cottage. Unique property in a good location that is very close to Manitou Springs, Pike's Peak, and Red Rocks Canyon Open Space.

Great location, close to downtown Manitou, Old Colorado City and sights. Host was quick to respond with any questions. Cute and cozy home that was clean and decorated real cute. We did not use the basement as it was kinda creepy. The main floor had plenty of room and everything we needed and allowed us to bring our dogs. Would visit again.

The location was absolutely spot on - I could not get over how much we liked where we stayed. We all loved how easy it was to get around from downtown Colorado to Manitou Springs. Old Colorado City was a lovely walk away. We brought our furry babies with and they loved the stay. There is a small picket fence in the front but was a bit low for our big doggos. In pictures we saw the surrounding high wooden fence but it doesn't close off so keep that in mind. There are numerous places to take your doga for a walk or run, so they didn't mind being indoors as they got plenty of activity with us outside. It was my brother's first time in the states and he fell in love with Colorado Springs and the house definitely helped make a great impression. We would definitely stay again.

It was nice and convenient to be able to walk to the downtown area. As a result though, the area is fairly busy most of the time, with steady foot and car traffic nearby even late into the night. For the most part that was background noise, as people nearby were largely friendly and respectful. Having a doorbell cam and motion light helped, though the bright front lights and thin curtains made for some challenging sleeping conditions in the front room. The keypad locks that automatically re-lock after a minute also helped alleviate security concerns.
The private gravel driveway was very handy, though so unassuming we drove past it twice the first night.
The house itself had a nice balance of historical charm and modern conveniences. I especially liked the photo in the living room showing the place 100 years ago. The basement/cellar was difficult to get down into, with steep uneven stairs and a wobbly hand rail combined with low overhead, making laundry difficult. Fortunately that wasn't an area we had planned to use much. The kids liked the idea of a "secret" underground room where they could hide and read.
Four wall heating and ac units allowed for flexible zone control (though we found out the hard way that if one is accidentally set to "heat", none of the others will cool) with ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms.
It can't be stressed enough how perfect a location this is, walking distance to downtown and less than 10 minutes from Garden of the Gods.

The home was just as it was described in the ad listing. There were so many extra touches that made you feel right at home. Each of the bedrooms had a cute basket with towels and not just a few but extras! There were extra pillows in the closet and I am a pillow nut and I sleep with 5 pillows and I didn't use all the extra ones either. Coffee bar was stocked and the bathroom included a jar of cotton balls and Q-tips along with make up wipes and such. Those items may sound small but they made a big impression on me with the details that Rene added. I spoke to Rene a couple of times and each time she was pleasant and helpful. My only regret, we didn't book a longer stay!!! The location is great for the activities near by; Pikes Peak, 7 Falls, shopping in Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City, the zoo, and grocery needs as well.
I highly recommend this property!!!!
