We loved our stay! We have a 1yr old and 3yr old and this space worked great for us. Loved that we were walking distance to parks and a short drive to the zoo, children’s museum and Olbrich Gardens. The neighborhood was so lovely! The house was very clean and well equipped. As a toddler mom the blackout curtains in each bedroom were amazing! We all slept great. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the mid century modern theme! We also loved the neighborhood. The snacks when we arrived, the beach access up the street (with kayak rentals which we used multiple times) and the local recommendations made by the host. It was a perfect stay.

The Jade Jackelope was incredibly well appointed with amazing attention to detail! Besides being beautiful, the house had all of the comforts of home. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable, especially the pillows. We will stay there again.

We came for a week to visit family, and this was the perfect home base to work from. The house is lovely, the beds comfortable, and the neighborhood couldn't be better. The host was communicative and helpful. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Kelly has created a real treasure with her attention to every mid-century detail. Absolutely spectacular home with its original components and eclectic decorating. In amazing condition, very clean, and a great shower! Located on a fun bike route next to the lake and walking distance to the ice cream shop. Beautiful neighborhood with friendly people. Loved it! Thank you!

A greeting note and treats, plethora of wool blankets for curling up on the ample couch, ambience that speaks “calm” and “relaxation,” squirrels that scurry outside the big window and birds that flit about in the quiet neighborhood….what an exceptional vacay vibe.

Location perfect. You’ll think Wally Cleaver will knock on the door any minute. Check what’s on tv in the 1956 TV guide on the coffee table! You’ll be tickled pink when you see this place!

Loved the house and it's retro decor. The area was great...quiet and very good to stroll around. Just a couple of minutes ride away was a wonderful selections of places to eat if you don't want to cook. Downtown Madison was easily accessible, but lots of fun things to see and do in Monona. The host Kelly was very communicative and made us feel very welcome in her gem of a house!

This sweet little home has a wonderful atmosphere, and is located in a beautiful neighborhood. It had many authentic retro touches… You could tell there was a lot of TLC put into this home. It might brought me back to my grandmothers kitchen. Thank you Kelly for this experience!

My husband and I stayed here for our daughter’s wedding nearby. The beds and linens are very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet, so we slept great! The kitchen is well equipped, and the front living room is spacious and bright. The backyard is large and would be a fun place to hang out if we weren’t so busy with the wedding. There is only one bathroom, but the shower pressure is strong, and the vanity has room to store your stuff. The 50’s decor is really fun and brought back fond memories of our childhood homes.

3 couples stayed for a mini reunion. The place is like a step back in time. Cleverly decorated.

We totally enjoyed our time at the Jade Jackalope! Everywhere we looked reminded us of our parent's home as we were growing up in the 60s and 70s. Our adult sons enjoyed groovin' the 1900s mid-century vibe too! The place was spotless, the host was very responsive, and the location was great. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Madison.
