I am a returning guest and like before I have no complaints. The house is very big and spacious, ideal for big groups. Location is great! I would definitely recommend booking here.

My hubs, 10 yo, 2 yo & I were visiting for a week. The yard is very overgrown, there was glass in the driveway, the patio is dirty with a black-stained rug, broken patio swing, a rolled up, old carpet, & faded fake flowers. When we got inside, we were hit with dust & must. Many of the lamps don't work, there are cobwebs in the many artificial plants, crumbs on the comforters, bugs on the ground, cracks in the windows (that are taped with clear packing tape), very dirty window units that blow MORE dust into the room when turned on. I messaged the owner right away asking only "hi! are the sheets clean & does the washing machine work?" (it looks broken). He replied snarkily. There is an overhead light in the upstairs main hallway (which is dark if the light is not on) that flickers badly. I asked the owner if that could, please, be fixed. He had someone go to fix it (we weren't there when they went), but they "couldn't find it". The owner used the opportunity to "scold" ME about leaving lights on & the front door unlocked (saying it'd be on ME if anything happens to the place) .. *face palm*. It felt very shady. The owner then went AWOL. We could not get any of the TV's nor WiFi to work (missed some Olympics). The kitchen trash bin is filthy, the trash bins in the alley were knocked over with trash piled on the ground & flies. We were all sneezing & throats hurting. Never stayed a night. Checked out early. Had to book a hotel last min. Requested refund but owner won't respond.

No issues with the accommodations or amenities, just a few things a future guest should know. First, whoever cleans the property is taking advantage of the owners. The cleaning fee is fair for the size of the house, but it's not getting cleaned. Dirty floors, empty boxes, and dead bugs all greeted us when we arrived. The outside property and lot need an unbelievable amount of work to look like it does in the listing. The grass hadn't been mowed in at least a month before we arrived. The flower beds were all completely overgrown with weeds. The trees growing between the house and driveway required me to fold in the mirrors each time past. And speaking of the driveway, it's not dually pickup friendly at all. There's a section of retaining wall along each side of the driveway that's just over 9 feet wide. The driveway runs parallel the house to a small area behind it. This area isn't big enough to turn around a large pickup. You have to back in from the street, which is a 2 lane, one way, sometimes busy street. Oh, and the neighbors like to park along the street really close. Visibility is no good entering the street due to large trees and a conversion van that never moved in the days that we stayed. Obviously not impossible conditions to overcome, but bring your A game. You have to time the red light, block both lanes to get square, back uphill through the wall opening while folding in your mirrors to avoid the trees. With 6 inches roon each side of your truck. Good luck

Very cool old house with lots of space for a big family. If it was warmer during our visit, the outside kitchen and dining area would have been very nice to use. Great location close to downtown. A special thanks to Tony for getting us in the same day after our dog sitting arrangements fell through at the last minute.
