The house was well stocked. However the second bedroom could use some work. Mattress was creaky and uncomfortable, pillows were worn and flat. Bathtub gels were barely full and there was only one washcloth.

This small house provided a great location for visiting nearby family, grabbing coffee and pastries in St. Johns and sleeping soundly. My partner even presented on a webinar from the kitchen table during our two-day whirlwind visit. House is small, but very habitable. We appreciated the coffee-making options and the bedroom air conditioning.

Exactly what I needed. Thanks.

Great place. My son who lives in the area said “If this was on the coast I would rent the heck out of it!”
We enjoyed the house and the area.

This is a great property to stay in if you want/need to be in NW Portland. Great walkability to things in St. John’s and easy access to downtown if you have a car or will get a ride. Simple-yet-nice property that has everything you need.

We enjoyed our stay very much and will look at this property for future trips.

A very comfortable 1909 cottage in a friendly, mostly owners, quiet ‘village’ neighborhood just a few blocks from St Johns village center.
Beds were comfy with high quality linens. We spent hours relaxing on the porch, watching joggers, dog walkers and the many assorted neighborhood cats!
Agree with another reviewer that the claw foot tub should be mentioned as some may find it hard to use.
Great bus service to Hayden Island, etc.

The only thing missing was an ironing board.

Super cute house with all the necessities you could want. The location was great and close to all major destinations. The neighborhood was very quiet and walkable to a cute downtown. The owners were very sweet! We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time here. The weather fluctuated from 50 degree days to 85 and the A/C did struggle to keep up with the sudden hot spell. But the house was adorable and old-fashioned and comfortable. Safe and clean area. Very cozy. The bathtub is a problem for anyone with a disability or mobility issues, however, so bear that in mind when booking. We would definitely stay there again, but our friend with bad knees would not though she loved the area.

St. John’s is a perfect town with a beautiful park Cathedral Park, great restaurants to ick from. This house was a great location and darling cozy home. The back yard table was broken but not a big deal. It’s fun to go in to Portland for a few hours then come back to the suburbs and relax. We stayed 3 nights. This was perfect for that purpose. Lots of nice extra info in a binder, games, books, great kitchen supplies, Smart TV all much appreciatedj. Part of our special mother daughter trip to Seattle & Portland!

This was such a cool little house in a quite little neighborhood. Everything was 20 minutes away. Great spot to be if you want to be around the city but not in the city. Hight recommend this house!!
